James, thank you for making the reservation easy and painless. Your property is in a perfect area for visiting Provence and I highly recommend this place for anyone planning a trip to Provence. St Remy de Provence is a fantastic village with many wonderful restaurants. A big plus was the wonderful farmers market. As for the property itself. It is absolutely beautiful. The picture do not do it justice. The pool, hammocks, garden, patios with comfortable chairs made coming home every-night a little piece of heaven. Its a perfect setting to light up a cigar, crack open cozy book while spending quality time with your family. Again, I highly recommend this place if your looking for a charming place to stay in Provence.Recommended for: Girls getaway, age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Just wanted to let you know that we had a fantastic 2 week stay at The Garden House in July. It was one of the best vacations we’ve ever had. The Garden House was our base camp for the numerous day trips we took throughout the French countryside as well as our sanctuary where we could totally relax . We thoroughly enjoyed your beautiful gardens and especially the pool area and it’s garden of sweet smelling lavender. I think Donna was in the pool each and every day. We came to France for some adventure as well as to find a place where we could get some rest and relaxation. The Garden House was an excellent spot for both. The nightly visits from Jack (your cat) were also a highlight. We’ll miss him. Thanks for making our vacation so memorable and for treating us like family. We’d recommend your Garden House to anyone who wants a place where they can relax as well as a place that’s close to many exciting attractions. Paradise is not lost ……. It is indeed found at the Garden House…….. Donna, Jim, Mary JaneRecommended for: Age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This September, we had the wonderful experience of spending 7 nights at the Garden House. Even though I thought from the pictures and description, this would be a nice place, it far surpassed our expectations. The house was very comfortable for two couples but the garden and pool area were exceptional. it was very relaxing and comfortable, and the host/owner James met our every need. St Remy is a great central location for exploring the hill towns of Provence. We could not have been happier and hope to return again.Recommended for: Girls getaway, age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Our stay was quite simply the best holiday in ten years. We were able to switch off completely. The gardens are stunning, the beds are comfortable, and the house is the epitome of elegance. We were even able to borrow bicycles and explore the surrounding countryside. A bonus during our stay was the Jazz Festival in St Rémy de Provence, which was amazing, and made even more so because we could return to such a haven of tranquillity. We were only there for a week, but it felt like we had had a month’s rest. This is our new favourite holiday destination, and next time we will be booking for at least two weeks!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

I stayed in this Gite in September last year. The Gite is beautifully decorated and a delight to come home to after exploring the magnificent countryside which surrounds it. The kitchen was so clean and believe me I am fussy, some would describe me as obsessive and suffering from some sort of cleaning disorder...just ask my husband...many arguments have been had over this subject. There was also a lovely basket of food and wine from the local area. The bathroom was not forgotten with a basket of luxury products to pamper yourself after a hectic day. Also on a practical note there is a great washing machine, ironing board and clothes line which is essential when traveling and living out of a suitcase. We will definitely we returning.Recommended for: Age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, families with teenagers, people with disabilities.

Great little house in an idyllic setting and beautiful location. The house was equipped with so much more than just the basics, which made the whole stay more comfortable and homely. Was a little wary of feeling like we were trespassing on the owner's property, given the shared pool set-up, but not only was the house positioned so that there was plenty of privacy should you want it, the pool set-up worked well and it was a real bonus having such a delightful yet unobtrusive host around to share their local knowledge and tips. Came away very relaxed and feeling like we had really experienced Provence. Will definitely return soon!Recommended for: Girls getaway, pet owners, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

I advise you this place if you wish to discover the beautiful light of Provence, to feel it's delicate perfumes of lavender, listen to it's accessible nature. The owner of this charming lodging is discrete and share his love for this splendid area of France. Comfortable, clean and decorated with a subtle taste, we spent one week of dream. I would never forget our visits to les Baux de Provence, Alpille, Arles, AvignonRecommended for: Girls getaway, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
