Location: Anderson, Hartwell Lake, Upcountry, South Carolina, USA (Less than 90 minutes from Atlanta, 19 mi to Clemson Stadium)

Get away from it all, at our cozy lakeside haven, on beautiful Lake Hartwell. Less than 90 minutes from Atlanta and 25 minutes to Clemson, this 8 year old, immaculately cared for tri-level home is fully furnished for your enjoyment.

The main/front entry level is the kitchen, one small bedroom tastefully decorated with a twin bed, a full shower/tub bathroom and a family room. A breakfast area/ family room opens onto the deck which includes a swing, two tables, 4 bar chairs and 2 table chairs. It is a great place for games or nature watching!The kitchen is fully equipped with nearly new appliances, including a dishwasher and a coffee maker. Cooking utensils, pots and pans and serving pieces are included.

Upstairs is a master bedroom with a king bed and a glassfront view of hardwood trees and the cove. Walk out of the master onto an additional roomy deck for private enjoyment in the Adirondacks! A second bedroom with a full bed is on the front of this top level with it's own Adirondacks on a small balcony. A full shower/tub and walk-in closet separates the two bedrooms.

The lower level room[s] include a sitting room with a sofa that makes into a full bed, a walk through closet and full laundry appliances in the shower/tub bathroom. Ceiling fans and cable TV's are in each bedroom, the lower level sitting room, and the family room. Outside the sitting room is an additional patio table and new gas grill.

A one car garage contains a golf cart for your use, to visit Portman Marina and the two excellent restaurants within walking distance of the house. There is also a small gas and grocery store within walking or golf cart distance.

A gentle slope leads to the waters edge, where you can beach your boat or you can rent a slip at Portman Marina, the largest on Lake Hartwell.

The house is clean, well taken care of and just the perfect size for a family or friends looking to get away for the weekend!   • What a wonderful house!! We rented this house for a tennis tournament 2 years in a row (1st week in June '07 and 1st week in June '08). We are a family of 5 and there was plenty of room. The house is extremely clean and had everything we needed. We were able to grill out several meals and there was a golf cart available for our use. The Marina is right around the block from the house which has a wonderful restaurant. Hartwell Haven is convenient to everything and is not far from the interstate making it easy to get to Anderson, Clemson, and Greenville. The owner was very easy to work with when renting her house. It is so quiet and peaceful there. I can't wait to go back!!!

  • Our stay at Hartwell Haven was such an enjoyable event. We came to this area for the Bassmasters Classic event in Greenville and with this home being so convenient to the Portman Marina it worked out just fine. The home was so cute and spacious and very clean. Even though we did not get to make use of the golf cart it was nice that it was available for us to use. The people in Greenville were just amazing and we also enjoyed a trip to Table Rock. The owners of this rental stayed in contact with us while making this reservation and gave us so much needed information. I would recommend this area if you are an avid fisherman. One of the local favorites was in our area in Ocala this past weekend, Casey Ashley. Boy, this fellow can catch fish and sing. Victor and Betty Guynn of Ocala, Florida

  • In the words of my granddaughter when she saw the place, "AWESOME"! We had 5 adults and three kids and had plenty of space to sleep, bathe and relax. The house is well equipped with everything you'll need and it is very clean and comfortable. Access to it is extremely easy, and from experience, I can say that is not always the case with these type of rentals. The owner was very easy to work with, and true to her word, the deposit was sent back immediately. I would thoroughly and without hesitation recommend this house to anyone wishing to use it.

  • We rented this house for April 28 through May 5, & it was great. It was decorated very nice. We went with 2 other couples on a fishing trip, my husband & the other men caught about 125 to 150 fish, they threw them back, just liked the sport of catching. This house was very peaceful and quiet, the porch swing on the deck was so calming & relaxing. This was truly a home away from home. We would rent it again.

  • Very comfortable, quiet and relaxing vacation on Lake Hartwell. Enjoyed cruising on the golf cart and taking it to dinner at the Galley at Portman Marina. Loved the house and the furnishings, would definitely go back. If you don't own a boat, make sure you rent a pontoon to cruise around Hartwell. Property owners were great to work with.
