Rose Cottage is an intimate getaway. It is not a self contained entire cottage which reflects in the rate charged. The cottage however is totally private and the dining room is yours exclusively at breakfast...Your entry and exit is totally private.
The garden and verandahs are yours to enjoy whenever you desire
A wonderful Continental BREAKFAST is included.

BABIES IN COT are most welcome under 6 months. There is ample room to accommodate.
The garden is yours to wander in or to just sit quietly. There is ample bird life and the garden is filled with Roses and English perennials in Spring/Summer. It has been open to the public for several years. You could enjoy an early morning walk with the birds in the COOLER months, or snuggle by the fire( should you choose to light it) and read one of the selected books or magazines. Perhaps a trip to many of the wonderful cafes in the district for a warming treat. Perhaps a deep bath full of bubbles!!

Rydal has a wonderful festival in Spring. "Daffodils at Rydal." You can read more
on the Rydal Website.

There are walks close by, and Kangaroos visit often in the evenings. Many birds live in the garden and it has been a refuge in the drought and during the fires... Sunsets are a treat, and the morning sun rises into Rose Cottage. Why not a treat at the Japanese Bath house close by.
You will find many touches at Rose Cottage that say "Welcome". Gorgeous robes and bath products.......those small touches that matter.
The food wine regions of Bathurst/Orange and Mudgee are a short drive away. The mid Blue Mountains is also only a 30 minute drive.
The XPT arrives and departs daily to Rydal, and Rose Cottage is a short stroll from the station. Only Peace awaits!!

Blissful Stay !
A true touch of history. Thank you Rosie for sharing your home with us. A short but blissful stay and the 3 course meal you prepared for us was spectacular. We will be back to enjoy the Daffodil Festival in the future. Kind regards, Alix & Adam (& Senna woofer).

Unique, relaxing and Fabulous B & B
We had a wonderful holiday in this enchanting cottage. Rydal is an historic and quaint village and it is central to many interesting places to visit. The daffodil display was lovely and the cottage garden was beautiful. Rosie was an excellent host - very welcoming and helpful. She is a wondeful cook and the candlelite dinners we had were superb. We would thoroughly recommeded a stay at this charming cottage.
