My family (my wife, myself and 2 children 7 & 10) just returned after almost 2 weeks in St John. The house was perfect for our family. Most of the time we were at Creolla (outside of sleeping!) we spent on the deck. The view was to die for. And the hot-tub was a special treat. We always tried to get back for the sun setting over St Thomas. Morning the sunrise over Coral Bay was just as exciting. The house sits literally on top of Ajax Peak. The picture provided of what is Coral Bay actually is what you see sitting on the deck. The property is at the end of the road which ends at the top of the mountain. We rented a Jeep and we were glad we did. The property is on the quite side of the island and if you like that then you will appreciate the location. The inside of the house has basic amenities and very clean. The welcome basket and flowers left by the management company was a nice surprise. Everyone in my family agreed if we come back to St John they would definitely stay in Creolla again.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

When my husband and I were married in May 2009, we stayed here for the week and thoroughly enjoyed our honeymoon stay. The driveway is not for the faint at heart but we are adventurous and enjoyed climbing up to the mountain retreat in the jeep! While not the height of luxury, the cottage is well-appointed and the view is simply breathtaking! We got a kick out of the donkey visits and loved the seclusion. We really fell in love with Coral Bay and the laid-back attitude of the locals. Wonderful snorkeling all over the island! The owner and the management company were a pleasure to work with as well. We live in NC but plan to return to STJ and we would definitely stay here again! Sally & Steve
