Vacationin' is a special beach cottage designed to bring back those memories and help create new ones that your family will treasure for years to come. This second row home has private beach access and is just steps away from the sand dunes.
Vacationin' looks and feels like a summer cottage from the past but features all of the modern day conveniences. As you step onto the large wraparound front porch, you are taken in by the cool ocean breezes. You'll spend many hours on the porch relaxing, sipping cool beverages and watching the kids play in the pool. The large open living room is a gathering place filled with comfortable rattan furnishings and mementos from the original cottage that once stood on the property. The open kitchen is beautifully appointed and comes complete with 2 refrigerators and 2 dishwashers. The kitchen opens to a large screened porch that is furnished with a sitting area as well as a large table for al fresco dining!
Wake up and watch the sunrise from your bed in the Master Suite. Located on the main floor of the home, this room features a king-sized iron bed, sitting area with TV and private bath with double sinks, a walk-in shower, and yes, ladies, a claw foot tub!
Get away from it all in the second Master Suite where you can open french doors and step into your own private sitting area on the screened porch. This room has a king bed and private bath with double vanities and a large walk-in shower.
The second floor den provides the perfect area for the kids to play and relax! The comfortable den features a TV with DVD player and a sleeper sofa.
You will find three additional bedrooms on the second floor. The 'Fish Room' is furnished with a queen bed, features a private bath with walk-in shower and is decorated with antique fishing accessories. The 'Tennis Room' is furnished with a queen bed, twin daybed and vintage tennis equipment. This room has access to a hall bath with a tub/shower combo. The 'Crow's Nest' looks like a ship's cabin with 2 sets of built-in bunks! This room is also equipped with a TV and DVD player, and a private bath with a tub/shower combo.
Spend your days lounging in colorful Adirondack chairs by the private pool with separate Jacuzzi*. The large deck area surrounding the pool has a gas grill and access to the 'Shrimp' room, a screened porch that is perfect for the 'Low Country Boil' you've been dreaming of!

This was the third time my family has rented this house in the last 4 years. There was 13 of us. Never felt like there was too many since we have the porch to set on. We love this place. Feels like home. Don't have to worry about the kids making a mess because the furniture is basic not fancy. Love setting on the porch and watching the kids in the pool. Don't have to walk far for the beach. Only one house between us. The kids love riding bikes to the plaza to get ice cream and just to ride. We love riding on the beach too. Hopefully we will be back next year.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Absolutely fabulous home!! Classic beach house. Immaculately clean. Steps from the ocean, and easy to bike to shopping center on bike trails. Perfect for large families with great sleeping arrangements and super large kitchen. Owner was great to deal with and keeps property well maintained.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers.

Built like a classic beach house, but with all of the modern amenities. The decor is beautiful as well as comfortable. The kitchen is perfect, with 2 sinks, 2 dishwashers and 2 refrigerators, it made preparing and cleaning up meals very quick and easy. The living room and bedrooms were gorgeous. But what really is spectacular about this home are the porches. We ate every meal at the long wooden table on the screened in porch and when not in the pool or at the beach, relaxed in the many different sitting areas situated around porch. It was a very easy walk to the beach with little kids and a quick bike ride to Coligny Plaza for the older kids. This home is perfect for multiple families, we had 3 families and a grandmother and never once did it feel crowded. Thank you so much for sharing your fabulous beach house with us. We definitely look forward returning.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers.
