"Vacationin" is a special beach cottage designed to bring back those memories and help create new ones that your family will treasure for years to come. This second row home with 5 bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms has oceanviews, private beach access and is just steps away from the sand dunes.
Built in 2005, on property that’s been in the family for over 50 years, "Vacationin" looks and feels like a summer cottage from the past but features all of the modern day conveniences. As you step onto the large wraparound front porch, you are taken in by the views and the ocean breezes. You’ll spend many hours on the porch relaxing, sipping cool beverages and watching the kids play in the pool. The expansive great room is a gathering place filled with comfortable furnishings and features a large plasma TV. The open kitchen is beautifully appointed and comes with two refrigerators, two dishwashers and two sinks. The kitchen opens to a large screened porch that is furnished with a sitting area as well as a large table for al fresco dining!
Wake up and watch the sunrise from your bed in Master Suite #1. Located on the main floor of the home, this room features a king-sized iron bed, sitting area and private bath with double sinks, a walk-in shower, and yes, ladies, a claw foot tub! Get away from it all in Master Suite #2 where you can open french doors and step into your own private sitting area on the screened porch. This room has a king bed and private bath with double vanities and a large walk-in shower.
You will find three additional bedrooms on the second floor. The "Fish Room" is furnished with a queen bed, features a private bath with walk-in shower and is decorated with antique fishing accessories. The "Tennis Room" is furnished with a queen bed, twin daybed and vintage tennis equipment. This room has access to a hall bath with a tub/shower combo. The "Crow’s Nest" looks like a ship’s cabin with two sets of built-in bunks (sleeps 4)! This room is also equipped with a TV and DVD player, and a private bath with a tub/shower combo. The "Game Room" provides the perfect area for the kids to play and relax! The comfortable den features a TV with DVD player and a sleeper sofa.
Spend your days lounging in colorful adirondack chairs by the private heated pool with separate jacuzzi. The large deck area surrounding the pool has a gas grill and access to the "Shrimp" room, a screened porch that is perfect for the "Low Country Boil" you've been dreaming of!
