  • Exactly as described

"Our stay was really cool. We liked the apartment. It was exactly as in the pictures. As it is located in the center of Paris, it was really convenient to visit other places too. Also the surroundings were very calm. And it was easy to catch the metros and shops. We really loved our stay. We recommend this apartment to all our friends, families and everyone. Definitely, we will choose this apartment for our next visit in Paris."

  • Great stay in Paris

"Our stay in November was our third on Cherche Midi and we marvel that we continue to find such a great place in such a great location at such a great price. We had great lunches at the many fine restaurants within walking distance of OUR apartment and then ate in, cooking dinner from the products purchased from the street market across the street. With the addition of a new refrigerator, the kitchen has all the amenities you could ask for, though I did replace an antiquated potato peeler on this trip. Great shower in the bathroom! And, the pullout (or pullup?) bed is surprisingly comfortable. Daniel, you have wonderful place...we plan on seeing you again soon."

  • Everything you need in an apartment and a great neighborhood

"The Marais District was an excellent area to stay and the Beauce apartment was perfect for us. As other reviewers wrote, everything one needs was provided and exactly as described. We appreciated the comfortable bed with good linens, plentiful hot water, the nice wine and snacks on arrival, the free wi fi, and the iphone that helped us to negotiate the streets and answer questions we had. (Who built the Louvre? What Loire Valley tours are available?) The apartment looks out over a street without traffic and is steps away (20 yards maybe?) from a major street. When we closed the easy to work shutters outside the window the city traffic noise was minimal and contributed to a good night of sleep. We used the stairs to help burn those bread and cheese calories but the elevator worked well. The neighborhood had everything we needed from a complete grocery store around the corner to great restaurants to a myriad of specialty stores. And when touring some of the most popular sites, we looked forward to returning "home" to our charming neighborhood away from the multitude of tourists. Steve quickly answered email questions before and text messages during our stay. Elizabeth met us when we arrived. She was friendly and helpful answering questions that we didn't know we'd have and reminded us that she was available to answer queries during our stay. She took us out into the neighborhood and pointed out the best options for shopping, transportation and some historic venues. Throughout our stay we often remarked how happy we were to not be in a hotel. A sincere THANK YOU to our hosts. It was a wonderful stay and we hope to return some day."

  • Best equipped apartment

"My wife and I stayed at Chloe's apartment for 2-weeks. Short walk to the metro and from there you can get to anywhere. Each day we did the tourists sites and were always glad to get back to "our" neighborhood. The canal is only a block away and is a nice place to sit and relax. We have stayed at several VRBO rentals and this is the best equipped. There were extra French plug adapters and numerous guide books. The best was a box called "City Walks" Paris cards. We used several cards and found the oldest candy store in Paris, the last vineyard in Paris, etc. Really a great adventure doing the walks. Great bakeries, restaurants, and butcher shop close by. Chloe makes it easy for you because she lists her favorite places and where they are at, so you don't wander around not knowing where to find places. She also marks how to use the appliances in English, which was a great help. Her manager was very prompt to meet us and check us out. It was a pleasure to deal with Chloe and her manager. We used G7 taxi service, which we booked via a phone call (for some reason they can't handle American phone numbers on their web site, so just call their English speaking line) to get to the train station when we left. They were on time, so I recommend them."
