  • UNBEATABLE LOCATION AND CONVENIENCE

"Our stay in this great and convenient condo will end, already, at the end of this week. My husband and myself had a wonderfull experience : the place is really large, comfortable and furnished with good taste ; we had most of our meals on the patio which is very quiet. The private covered parking space is just 100 feet from the entrance door and the supermarket is at walking distance. We also enjoyed a lot the heated pool and Jacuzzi, where most of the time we were alone. And of course, the location cannot be better being at 2 minutes drive from the parks and lakes, and in the same time at 2 minutes drive to Scottsdale Old Town and the restaurants, from Scottsdale Fashion Square and from the stadium. On the top of it, we enjoyed walking every day along the canal at the doorstep of the condo. The booking process with the owner has been real easy and friendly We will definitely come back for a longer stay."

  • Wonderful family time!

"My family and I were very pleased with the condo. First time to Harbor Island and I will say it will not be our last! We have small kids and the beaches were perfect for the kids to play in the water and not have to worry about rough seas. The condo building and grounds were not crowded at all. The condo was very nice, it suited our needs perfectly. Thanks for sharing your home with us! We hope to be back next year for a longer stay."

  • Wonderful Visit!

"We stayed at this condo for 3 nights in June. It was great! We wished we had stayed longer. The condo itself was lovely - the furniture was in great shape. The king bed was super comfortable, and my kids thought the two twins were just fine. The bathrooms were spacious and very clean. The view from the patio is lovely. It was nice to sit out there and relax when we had returned from the beaches. The reservation process was easy. Tarek was very responsive to my email questions, and everything went without a problem. We even got to have late checkout since we were catching the 10:00 pm flight home. Thank you again for that, Tarek! We went down to the beach below the condo (Hideaways) on the day we got there. The steps are a little steep, but we managed. We saw others managing in flip flops, so it's really not that bad! This might have been the best snorkeling spot we saw - or second to Tunnels/Haena - we got right in the water and saw a ton of fish - even a couple of sharks (small - not scary). We didn't get a chance to go there again, and wish we had. There's always next time! Our kids also enjoyed splashing around there in the shallow, sandy part. Restaurants we liked - Kilauea Fish Market and the pizza from the gas station in the Princeville Center (near Foodland). We brought the pizza back to the condo and ate on the patio. Very easy, and tasty too! We also got take out tacos from Tropical Taco. The prices for food (grocery and restaurant) were more than at home, but I didn't find them excessive, particularly given the location! On our drive up to the North Shore, we also ate at a food truck in Kapaa that was one of the best meals we had the whole trip - Tacos al Pastor. Fabulous fish and shrimp tacos and burritos. Wow. All in all a wonderful visit! We hope to return in the not too distant future!!"

  • Lovely property - lots of horseshoe crabs!

"The home is very well laid out with lots of room (note that the 3rd floor bedroom has no door and faces into the stairs that lead from the 2nd floor living area and bedroom) and great balconies. It was a wonderful spot for biking, running and admiring birds, rabbits and enormous horseshoe crabs, which were all over the beach (nearby Lewes Beach may be more attractive for actually going into the ocean). While we had paid to rent the kayaks, unbeknownst to us, they were only for use in the open ocean - where we saw no one else on kayaks during our week there - and not on the calm water behind the house, as that was too shallow. I asked for a refund, since once I arrived I saw that we would not be using them on the rough ocean (and only undoing a lock was required to provide us with access) and had contacted the owner, but was told that others (trained, I expect in strong current, open-water kayaking!) had used the kayaks and that there were no refunds for weather. So - think twice before signing on for that feature. Otherwise, a very nice stay in an attractive, quietly situated property."

Top United Kingdom Travel Attractions and Activities

The United Kingdom is made up of four separate countries -- England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales. Each of these regions has its own wealth of attractions but there are a few things that they have in common. Throughout the UK, you will find ancient castles and ruins of former fortresses. Each of these has its own unique tale to tell. Many of the castles are still in use today, either as royal residences, museums or boutique hotels. Scotland and Northern Ireland in particular are known for their impressive and ancient castles.

The UK is a popular golfing destination; Northern Ireland and Scotland rank as two of the best golfing destinations. There is the famous St. Andrews Golf Course in Scotland where leading PGA tournaments are played each year. There are literally hundreds of other golf courses to choose from. In the cities, such as London and Edinburgh, there are many historical sites to visit. As the nation's capital London has a rich and detailed history. Here you can see the famous attractions of Buckingham Palace, St. Paul's Cathedral and the London Tower Bridge. Seasons to Visit the United Kingdom

The weather of the United Kingdom is characterized by rain, and a lot of it. The advantage of this is that the rural landscapes are perpetually green and very scenic. Winters are generally quite long and in the central and northern regions, snowfalls are not uncommon. Winter starts from mid-October and generally lasts until the end of April. Spring and autumn are usually quite short-lived. Summer is from June to August and daytime temperatures can get quite hot. On a sunny day, especially if it is on the weekend, you will see many of the locals out and about making the most of the good weather. Summertime is traditionally the peak tourist season and major tourist attractions can get very crowded. If you are willing to travel out of season and possible put up with a little bit of bad weather, you can benefit from some great travel deals.
