  • Perfect Getaway!

"My husband and I stayed here to celebrate his birthday and for a getaway from anchorage. It was perfect and just what we needed!! It was very clean, modern, and super cozy and comfortable! We went without kids, but it's also a place the kids would have loved(they say we are taking them next time:)! We didn't take advantage of it, but I loved that the kitchen was well stocked if one wanted to prepare meals. It's in a beautiful location and I loved being close to the busyness, but not right in it. The owners are also fabulous to work with! I HIGHLY recommend this beautiful, cozy, private place to stay! We will definitely be back!!! Thank you!"

  • Great Place

"Great place to stay. The river is right out the back door and within a short time Eagles were overhead. Nice and quiet. Very clean and comfortable. Even the sofa bed was comfortable."

  • Amazing!

"What a wonderful place!! The cabin was warm, welcoming and in such a fantastic location. The cabins are slightly out of town, but close enough to be convenient and far enough way for perfect peace and quiet ( and a great spot to see the Northern Lights! ) Debi and Bruce made us feel very welcome, gave us lot’s of advice and help to make the most of our stay, but also lot’s of space to enjoy the environment. I would highly recommend hiring a car (from Alaska Auto Rentals, another great experience) and making the most of this beautiful part of the world. We couldn’t be happier with the cabin, the location and the price. All round it was perfect accommodation on a perfect holiday. We can’t wait to come back"

  • Kodiak, Alaska is such a special island!

"Our trip to Kodiak was a family vacation with our adult children. It was a week none of us will ever forget! I wanted my family's first trip to Alaska to be perfect and I knew that the most important part would be the lodging with six of us in our group. This home cost us less than staying in the local hotels and gave us so much more room and flexibality. We wanted to rent a house so that we could come and go on our schedule and cook our own meals. You have this entire house to yourself and it is close to everything! Home is huge, neat, clean and most of all cozy. Having three full bathrooms was also perfect for us. We had everything we needed at our disposal and more. We cooked on the gas grille a few nights and sat out on the large deck. We even had a bald eagle fly over the house! We are an active family and spent everyday exploring the island. One day we chartered fishing trip and came back with halibut, cod and salmon! We spent several days just hiking. So many spots off the road system to enjoy. The beauty of this island is etched in our minds forever. The wildlife was everywhere - we saw bears, deer, eagles, and a variety of sea life. If you plan to visit Kodiak and you want to stay in a great house with everything this is the one! I highly recommend it."
