  • Aurora and more

"We couldn't be more please with the rental of the Riverbend Cabins. Bruce and Debi are fabulous hosts with a welcome gift and provided everything needed to enjoy the peace of the country and yet close to Fairbanks and various activities including aurora viewing, dog sled rides, museums and many delicious restaurants. The kitchen was well stocked with kitchenware for preparing meals on-site and bathrooms met with eye pleasing comfort. The living and bedroom spaces are plenty for two or four people to relax and enjoy the views. Plenty of warmth for those cold nights, and days. All people we encountered were friendly, open to answering questions and had stories to tell including Alaskan history and information in and around the Fairbanks area. We would definitely recommend this rental for any vacation, winter or summer and hope to return some time in the future."

  • Beautiful....

"After spending several days in a B&B, it was a great pleasure to walk into this beautiful home. The pictures do not it justice, it is far more beautiful than the pictures. The bed was fantastic, and the views were even better. The first day we were there we saw a beautiful bald eagle fly by. We also saw sand hill cranes, we only hear them in TN. I can't say anything bad about this place and will stay there again on our next visit. Happy couple from Tennessee."

Visiting an American Gemstone Through Big Lake Cabins

Expansive nature creates the perfect environment for a stunning landscape while keeping a small town feel. A Big Lake lodging rental might just be the perfect way to relax while exploring all that this great state has to offer.

Almost every inch of Alaska offers beauty for the senses. Big Lake, Alaska is no different. The allure of The Chugach Mountains makes an unforgettable view for anyone who glances upon it. Enrich the Mind

For the Arts and Culture mavens, museums offer a chance to view the unique culture of the area. The Alaska Museum of Transportation and Industry in nearby Wasilla gives visitors a glimpse of how this state developed into what it is today. See train cars, classic automobiles, old planes, and more. Before heading to your Alaska vacation rentals be sure and check out the Iditarod Museum as well. There, Alaska's amazing race covering over 1,150 miles of varied terrain is chronicled for visitors to enjoy.

Personalize the Experience

In Alaska, the raw power of nature is evident everywhere the eye can see. Whether it's a trip planned with boundless adventure, such as sport fishing or river rafting, or something more intimate, like lazily strolling by the lake to watch the beauty of nature unfold, Big Lake cabins and the natural surroundings will linger in memories long after the vacation is done.
