"My husband, 21 month and 2 month family stayed here for a few nights to take advantage of West Clear Creek swimming and hiking and Sedona. Crystal was a breeze to work with and the house was clean and stocked beautifully. The house has a lot of fun antiques and is adorned with western flair throughout. The yard is huge and has a wonderful view of the Verde Rim. There is tons of outdoor seating and a killer BBQ. My only recommendation is to park a dumpster on the property and get rid of all the junk strewn throughout the property to help accentuate the antiques, seating and natural landscape. Thanks for sharing your home!"Guest: Maggie34 Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 15, 2014View listing
"My wife and I stayed in this beautiful home for the month of April and absolutely loved it. It is located on the 18th hole of the Oak Creek golf course and has magnificent views of the course and red rock buttes behind it. It is far enough from the green that no golf balls ever came near the back yard and we were very comfortable sitting out back enjoying the scenery. We had another couple visit as well as our grown up kids at another time, and all enjoyed the serenity and scenery. The queen sized beds in the 2 master bedrooms were comfortable and our daughter enjoyed the hide a bed single bed in the sunroom. The Village of Oak Creek is a great place to stay. It is a quiet, beautiful community about 5 miles south of Sedona so has all of the charm without being quite so touristy. There is a wonderful selection of hikes and mountain bike rides located in the near area. There are a few crafty shops and coffee shops in Oak Creek within walking distance. There are lots of shops in Sedona if you wish to shop. In our month here we had two days of rainy weather, the rest of the time it was sunny and warm without being exceptionally hot. I don't normally hand out 5 star ratings as it leaves no room for improvement but this house, and the Oak Creek location, exceeded our expectations. Our thanks go out to Sara and Davis for allowing us to share and experience their wonderful home."Guest: richard w. Date of Stay: April 2014 Review Submitted: May 5, 2014View listing
"After 4 days in Page AZ not the best experience,we turned in to Garden Lane with beautiful the Willows and drove down the Cul-de-sac to the lovely property we knew we had made a good choice and once inside there was no doubt every thing was perfect the Decor, the space the ambiance it was much more than we expected There is a nice dining area which as the weather was warm we never used because we ate on the back terrace overlooking the lawns, there are two other sitting areas outside The snug TV second bedroom area so cosy and the Kitchen was well equipped with plenty of storage as I am an Ex Chef Caterer was very useable,Master bedroom spacious with a very comfortable bed and lots of space for our luggage and we don't travel light. We had no problems with the A.C and we are British!! The bathroom was large and well decorated and everything was super clean Although we intended to visit Sedona as we had been there many years ago it had changed so much and we fell in love with the Valley Verde that we spent our time visiting the Wineries, the little funky towns Cottonwood and Jerome were great and found National Parks being from the U.K we had never heard of like Montezumas Castle and Tuzigoot and the Fort at Camp Verde so much to see and do we wish we could have stayed a week Audre gave us great ideas for eating we really liked UpThe Creek but loved Harry's Hideaway just up the road excellent Menu well cooked with great servers, I have stolen there grilled Goats Cheese and Garlic receipe for tomorrow nights appetiser Yummy Do take a walk down to the creek it is so pretty and we saw a large Owl walking around someone's garden amazing We had the most fun, relaxing and happy time at this beautiful property. "Our heartfelt thanks to Jeff and Eli for sharing their beautiful home with us during our recent trip to Sedona! I can't imagine a better view by which to enjoy our morning coffee than that off the back patio. And our evening strolls around the golf course (in search of javelinas!) were truly magnificent. The home is quite comfortable and ideally laid out with the master at the opposite end from the kids' rooms. The pool and spa were truly highlights of our trip as we loved to head back to the house to refresh after a morning hike or to enjoy the evening stars. The house is ideally located between uptown Sedona and the popular attractions of star gazing (right down the street!) and horseback riding. It's also extremely close to Bell Rock for an amazing hike. Just at the end of the main road you'll find a terrific market as well as numerous restaurants. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a "home away from home" in Sedona!"Guest: jrfam Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: June 24, 2014View listing
