  • Perfection in Sedona!

"We absolutely loved this villa ---- it was an 11 on a 1 to 10 scale! The luxurious first class+ accommodations offered every possible amenity you could want for a perfect vacation ---- an ultra-comfortable king bed, an amazing, fully-stocked kitchen with high end appliances, stunning views from every room, a fire pit on the balcony, a great fireplace, and a spacious bathroom with whirlpool. And all located in an immaculate, beautifully decorated home with lovely southwestern art ---- a feast for the eyes both inside and out. With such comfortable accommodations and the glorious red rock views, we had trouble leaving the villa each day! Definitely serene, peaceful and romantic. Another big plus was the wonderful location, within easy walking distance of several restaurants, galleries and great shopping, yet quiet and private. Fran, the owner, couldn't have been more helpful. She is a gracious host with a wealth of helpful information to offer on activities and restaurants. (Our favorite restaurant was Cucina Rustica ---- great food in a delightfully warm and romantic atmosphere.) There is so much to see and do in beautiful Sedona and central Arizona that we will definitely return. And when we do, we'll come back to this fabulous villa. Very highly recommend!"

  • A beautiful gem nestled in the red rocks

"My husband and I had the pleasure of spending six weeks in this very special rental. We had an idea of what the house would look like from the photographs on the web site, but were not prepared for the spectacular scenery and beauty of the place when we arrived. We were so excited as we explored the house. Everything was beautifully decorated, clean and well maintained. We particularly enjoyed the front deck during our stay, gazing at Cathedral Rock as we sipped our morning coffee. The master bedroom was a delight, surrounded by windows with a private balcony. I spent many nights star gazing and even some early mornings watching the setting moon. Florene was very helpful and even sent us a welcome email to check and see how we were making out. We really enjoyed visiting the 14 acre oasis of the Amitabha Stupa temple, hiking the red rock trails and partaking of Sedona's many festivals and events. We also regularly frequented the Wildflower Bakery for healthy, quick meals or snacks. Everything was located close to 10 minutes away from the rental and easily accessible by car. We also spent a lot of time in Cottonwood where there is wonderful music and open stages especially My Dobro Bar and Grill for anyone who is a music lover (also very accessible from the rental). We absolutely loved Sedona and Florene's lovely sanctuary and will return again. If you are seeking a peaceful place, want to connect to our beautiful earth and a chance to experience a small piece of paradise, this is the place to stay."

  • Fabulous Girlfriends Weekend

"I just returned from spending 3 nights at the Creek House with 3 high school girlfriends. I had chosen this home as we enjoy privacy, nature and a quiet environment. I have to admit I was a bit worried as we approached the house but once we stepped through the doors I knew I had made the right choice. The house is as described by other reviewers and the patios/decks are incredibly relaxing. We would have used the additional, detached room/building if the 5th person had been able to come. It would not have been a problem to share a bath with someone in the main building as all rooms are so spacious. The homeowner had provided me with great directions, although my GPS continued to refer to the "town" as Rimrock and not Lake Montezuma as the actual address indicates. Although there is not much to the nearby town we did enjoy breakfast at Nikki's which, we were told, is under new management. This local cafe is located right where you exit Route 17. It is on the left side of the road. Don't miss it! From the house we were able to easily access Cottonwood, Jerome and, of course, Sedona. The views driving into Sedona from the south are absolutely spectacular. Be sure to check out the Chapel of the Holy Cross just south of Sedona off of Route 179. More spectacular views. All in all it was a wonderful 3 days with great friends in a fabulous environment. I would definitely recommend the Creek House to others and I hope to return soon, myself."

"Our family had a great time at this very centrally located and well maintained home. The patio has a very private feeling with a view of the red rocks. The photos on VRBO were very accurate and the home is very well equipped with a lot of unexpected "extras". Restaurants, grocery, shops and wonderful Sedona are all at your fingertips. Gil and Carole were outstanding to work with. Highly recommend this home."
