"This home was very comfortable for our extended family of 9! Very clean, spacious and relaxing. Close to both Oakland and SF Airports. Convenient location with lots of nearby restaurants and grocery stores. Short drive to the city. We hope to return to the Bay area soon and will definitely stay here again."

"We recently spent some time at this wonderful place with family and friends (total of 8 of us; but we know the place can sleep many, many more) as we were out in CA for a wedding. The location was perfect as the wedding was right across the street at Chateau St. Jean.
The place was an absolute delight--great kitchen for cooking lots of meals together, lots of places to nap and snooze at night, wonderful location for walking to wine tastings and good food, AND the most fantastic backyard with tons of shade, a great pool for lounging, lots of seating under the sun and stars, and a natural fence that prevented our pups from wandering too far. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed cooking on the grill, eating our meals outside, and sipping wine by the pool. As the evening approached we made s'mores on the grill, bundled up in hoodies, and enjoyed relatively bug-free conversation on the back patio under the deck.
The house is completely dog-friendly and our two pups enjoyed it very much. You're less than an hour from the dog beach (Dillon beach) which our dogs loved and very close to stuff in Sonoma and Napa. We really enjoyed having our fur kids with us and most everywhere we went in the area was dog friendly so they quite enjoyed all of the family time.
Thanks again to Bill and Cate for a great place in a beautiful area of the country. If we're ever out there again, and have a big crew (and dogs) with us, we're definitely staying at your place again."

"We used the house for a guys' trip, and everyone loved it, especially the view, from both inside and out. The house is quite well insulated from any noise, but you can hear the waves lapping under the house from time to time at night if the tide is right. It's better suited for a single couple or even a family, but we knew what we were getting into and a couple guys were happy to sleep on the floor for a night. While on the subject of sleeping arrangements, you could easily have at least two couples. One of the hide-a-bed/convertible couch bed was amazingly comfortable with a newer design that was comfortable, evenly firm and NOT with those annoying bars and thin mattresses like one might expect! The house was clean and charming and well equipped. We stayed at a larger house several years ago on the Marin County coast in a place that didn't have oyster knives. (shucks!) This place had three or four! The bath is charming and clean, with lots of storage if needed. But at the end of the day, it's the views that make this place. While we enjoyed Point Reyes hiking, great local food and libations, oysters, and great company, the views tempted us to simply sit on the wrap around deck and stay, and look, and listen, and talk, and do nothing."
