"You will not be renting a condo; you will be renting a home. The only negative about renting this beautiful home is that you will not want to leave it to do all the things you came to do! As soon as you enter, a calmness sets in. The living room invites you to settle in with a good book and a glass of the wine so thoughtfully provided by the owners. Open the drapes to a beautiful view of the mountains, or, if the weather permits, sit outside on the balcony. There is an IPOD with a selection of music for everyone's tastes that you can play on a super sounding stereo. If you desire a movie or some TV, climb the spiral staircase to a cozy loft with a TV; there are DVD's to choose from too. The kitchen, although small, is equipped with everything you could possibly need. A more efficiently planned use of space I have never seen. And the bedroom! In addition to a supremely comfortable bed, the ambiance, soft lighting ...... oh, it is so hard to get out of that bed. Thoughtful touches abound - from the wine to Ernest's check-in calls to the comfy robes. Each room of this home is touched by love from the collection of books, photos, valises, antiques to the photographs and paintings by the owners. It is immaculate. We rented this property because we were attending a concert at Red Rocks in Morrison, CO. We are frequent visitors to Colorado and had heard of Georgetown so we decided to get accommodations there and explore some of the history of the area. There is a very welcoming visitor center with beautiful gifts from local artists. We took the Georgetown Loop train ride and drove the Guenella Pass both of which I recommend. Our visit passed much too quickly and I will surely return to the area, if only to stay in this beautiful property again. Thank you Ernest and Curt for sharing your beautiful home with us."

  • Awesome place!

"We rented this cottage with our daughters and it was perfect. The house layout was spacious with several rooms and the kitchen was very well equipped. The euro room with the leaded glass doors and fireplace was my favorite. We enjoyed the mountain décor and wonderfully placed antiques. I would re-rent this place when I return to CO. Highly recommend."

  • Ready to stay here again. Now!

"Even better than advertised! We had an extended-family weekend getaway. We hiked, had so much to do in town and the Historic Loop Railway a short walk from the house. However, we all wanted to hang around and relax in the house, porch & yard every moment we could. Kids loved their big bunk room. Adults loved the comfy rooms and great beds. The amenities were like home (and we love our homes:), the updated kitchen allowed several of us to cook together. The LR seating the whole family, lounging on the great sectional. Dining room is lovely and functional. We are already planning our next getaway to this house on the hill. LOVE the place and the owners were a pleasure to communicate with. Oh yes, after the short walk into town we felt safe and confident to send the preteeens and teens back on their own to the cupcake bakery (named Cake) which rivals the trendy big city cupcake places we've been to. And many other shops and very nice library. We even got great & needed hats and gloves at 'Nirvana' run by a Nepali family. Great town. Prettiest Victorian home I've been in."
