"My family and friends stayed here over the Labor Day weekend and really enjoyed the place. We were 4 adults and 2 young children and had plenty of room. Geoff was very accommodating and responded quickly to everything, even delivering a new gas tank when we ran out of gas for the grill! One of my favorite parts of the house was the backyard and deck overlooking the bay. At night we could see the milky way! We really enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and proximity to the beach. Geoff gave us 2 parking passes that we used to drive a very short distance to a parking area. Then we needed to cross the road and take the path to the beach. With 2 kids and lots of beach gear it's not as convenient as being ocean front obviously but I'd estimate about a 15-20min commute door to beach with a cooler and a toddler. Clean house, stocked kitchen, and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend."

"Wonderful owner to deal with. Great last minute find and very please we could find somewhere to book less than a week. We thought it was nicer than the pictures. Owner dealt with minor plumbing issue immediately. Very clean. Short drive to any tourist area, yet away from the noise."

"Just returned from our week in Lewes. This place was great. Two blocks from the main Lewes downtown. A quick walk in the morning to get coffee and fresh pastries from the bakery. There are probably 12 or so restaurants downtown. Every one we tried was great but we really loved the Half Full pizza shop.
The house had plenty of room for the 5 of us. Our kids loved that the house was split up so they had their end and we were upstairs at the other end. Nice patio to sit on in the morning and read the paper. The home was well stocked (games, books, kitchen wares) and very nicely decorated. It quickly felt like our home away from home.
You could walk or bike to the beach but we drove most days to Cape Henlopen State park since we had a lot of stuff. We went to the Rehoboth boardwalk a couple of nights. There are some great bike trails that take you from Lewis to Rehobeth really a beautiful ride.
So anyway... this house is great, the town was wonderful, and the beaches were perfect. It really was an amazing vacation and we created some life long memories with our family. I am not typically a fan of beach houses but this cute cottage with big shade trees sold me. We will be back next year for sure."
