"Our family of 7 adults and 1 child had the pleasure of spending a week at this beautiful vacation home. The home is exceptionally clean and laid out perfectly providing privacy for everyone. We were greeted by Gloria's son Carlos who toured us through the home and property to make sure that all our needs were met, and we had the pleasure of meeting Gloria on the day we left to thank her for a very enjoyable stay. (Thanks to Carlos, and their community breast cancer awareness fundraiser, he even provided us with t-shirts which made for a great family photo) This home exceeded all our expectations. Without a doubt one of the best vacation homes we ever rented. The property and the home are absolutely gorgeous and well stocked with pool supplies, condiments, bait, life vests, etc. Our son enjoyed cruising the peninsula in the Kayaks, and the pool is probably one of the best we have ever used. Perfect for all ages!! We all enjoyed the Tiki hut and out door bathroom. Our grandson enjoyed exploring the peninsula and seeing all the many different sea life and animals that frequented the property everyday including hermit crabs, an Iguana and an Egret that visited us frequently. A true boating community with gorgeous views of the peninsula. Even though there is no need to ever leave the property, there is so much to see and do in the surrounding area. What a great place to visit. I can't count the times my husband asked me if we could please vacation here again. We hope that we will be able to return to this home in the near future. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us."

  • BELITTLE

"Check-in was a breeze, thanks to complete info prior to arrival. The unit was exactly as pictured. Unit was well-equipped and may have exceeded our expectations for 1st time stay at this facility for 2 adult couples. A couple downsides..only DVR (not TV - which could have easily been ok with antenna) in one bedroom and definitely needed overhead or more lighting in living area. The view was amazing from our balcony - iguanas galore - beautiful sunrise and gorgeous sunset from private beach. Attractions, restaurants and restaurant delivery, grocers, and pharmacies all very close. We were there Christmas week - not the best time if you cannot live with slow/no go traffic - remember it's the Keys, no hurry - you will get there."

"Best vacation ever! House is perfect!!! Deck is the best, dinner and drinks every night with the best view of sunset each night. Everything about this house is great -- clean, decorated beautifully, comfortable, owner couldn't be more helpful. Everything you will ever need, this house has. Can't wait to stay again!"

  • A most wonderful month in the Keys!

"This house was perfect for our family vacation month. The house was clean and comfortable and had just about anything you could need (other than food, of course). We hardly left the house and had a great time relaxing, enjoying the weather, and the ocean - which is front and center. Lots and lots of our time was spent out back on the large deck where we worked (unfortunately, yes), had breakfast and grilled out dinners on the built in dining area, and lots of time was spent on the hammock including watching movies under the stars. Being from Minnesota, it was cool to see the wildlife - geckos galore, pelicans, iguanas, and an eagle ray seen right off the dock. The neighborhood is nice and it is a short walk to the hospital, CVS, Winn Dixie grocery, the post office, movie theater, Cuban restaurant, coffee shop, and a small park to name a few. Tavernier is between Key Largo and Islamorada where lots of activities can be found. The guest passes to Cheeca Lodge in Islamorada were much appreciated as swimming in the ocean is a bit difficult at the home with small kids as the entrance to the water is rocky. My boys loved the Cheeca pool and lagoon. Also worth noting, owner Paula was super responsive and helpful. I tried not to bother her much, but did have lots of questions about various things and she was always available with a good answer and assistance. We would absolutely come back. Thanks Paula for the wonderful stay!"
