Recent North Naples property reviews

  • 3.5 months in Paradise!

"I don't normally write reviews, even when asked unless a place really exceeds expectations. I loved this unit! I've been coming to Heritage Bay for a few years, stayed in several different units. This one, by far has been the best. It's the 3rd unit in from end, which is the best - it has a 2-sided screened lania, which gives you a bigger view. (most are 1-sided) The building design juts out at 3rd unit, giving you more view AND more privacy! My girlfriend enjoyed both dinner and breakfast out on the lanai. Plus the view is spectacular from the 3rd floor. (Also fun to watch the golfers, but with privacy from higher up.) Another bonus about this unit is the furniture. Very tasteful, but more important, VERY comfortable couches and beds. I stayed at another unit a few years ago where the couch was cheap and uncomfortable, which makes for a lousy vacation. Having the smaller, more private pool right at the bottom of the stairs was another real convenience I hadn't expected. Makes it so much easier if you want to go back and forth from condo to pool. Another benefit of the 2-sided lanai is the sunset. Beautiful sunsets right from the lanai. As I said, this is my 3rd year coming to HB. I stayed here for 3 months this year andif I come back to HB again, I would definitely rent this unit again over any of the others I've stayed in. About HBG&CC: There's plenty available online about the facility, so I won't get into any features. But I have to say, the guests at HB are always polite. I've stayed at some Country Clubs where the people were a bit snobby. In 3 years, always enjoyed the people here and have even made good friends here. The golf is fun, challenging, but not crazy narrow... fairways are fairly bombproof and the greens are kept in pristine condition. The streets at HB are wide with wide bike paths and sidewalks which makes it nice for a stroll. I can't speak of the clubhouse restaurant (too many great restaurants in Naples to eat here). But the Chickee Bar by the main pool has great sandwiches (chix salad on croissant and the sliders rock!)"

  • Most relaxing vacation, a little piece of paradise!

"My Husband and I stayed at this condo because of accesibility to the beautiful golf course and down town Naples.Once we entered the condo we felt as if we were on a tropical vacation! The condo was very clean, neat and beautifully decorated. Everything described for this condo was above and beyond our expectations! The screened in porch allowed us to sit outside every morning and watch the golf course sipping our coffee. And even at night we were able to grill and sit outside without being bothered by any mosquitos. The golf course there was even better than I could have imagined with the beautiful landscape and the helpful staff. The pools, saunas and hot tub were luxurious and very clean and well maintained- very relaxing, felt as if I were at a spa! Heritgate Bay itself was so impressive that we didnt even need to leave the complex, but if you wanted to see the beaches and local restaurants- Down town Naples was awesome. We went to a few restaurants for happy hours and then walked to the beach where we saw dolphins swimming! Owner was very helpful with answering any questions that we had with quick responses. We will def. be heading back to this condo in the near future for our next vacation! A+++ rental and would highly reccomend this condo to future renters!"

  • Property No 128475

"Despite the slightly disappointing weather, we found our recent stay at this condo genuinely memorable: the description of the condo in the VRBO listing was reliable and accurate, and while the photos were excellent in giving us very positive impressions of the property, we found the actual property itself outdid the photos. It therefore remains at the top of our shortlist for future visits to Florida. We found the property very clean, well maintained with thoughtful attention to detail, excellently equipped, and very comfortable indeed. Its peaceful setting and superb views from the spacious west-facing lanai add a special charm to the place. The owners were welcoming, very friendly and more than willing to respond promptly to any issues brought to their attention. There are many attractions within reasonable travelling distance of the condo, including several excellent beaches, Naples Philharmonic Hall with art gallery included, Sanibel Island, the Everglades, shopping facilities, an excellent range of eateries (Sushi Thai and the Tomato restaurant opposite the condo being among those we would suggest). We would be very confident in recommending this condo to family and friends."

Staying in Naples resorts means that you have a multitude of nature preserves and hikes at your fingertips. In fact, one of the best destinations, close to most North Naples condos, is the Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary. Just 15 miles north of Olde Naples, you can take a walk in a cypress forest chock-full of endangered species including alligators, hawks, and owls.
