"My family & I (we had 7 of us, my husband & I, two 14 yr old girls, 23 yr old niece and two 18 yr old boys) stayed in this townhome the end of July. Our whole vacation was the BEST one we have ever had!! And it started with arriving to this townhome. The pictures displayed are what the unit looks like, brand new, clean. The sleeping arrangements were a little different than what I expected: King bed in master, Queen bed in 2nd bedroom, 2 twins in 3rd bedroom and two trundle day beds in the basement (however there was not a "trundle" under one of the day beds). This worked out great for us, 18 yr old boys were in the basement with a big flat screen and their own bath, two 14 yr old girls had their own bed in one bedroom then our 23 yr old niece had the queen, where all three girls shared a bathroom then my husband & I had the king room. There was SO MUCH ROOM for all of us, it was great! We did not arrive until midnight and it was very difficult to find in the dark even thou Driggs is a really small town. Our directions said there was a sporting goods store to turn at, there is NO sporting goods store, but we made it just the same. Once we arrived "everyone" couldn't believe I found SUCH A NICE place, the girls were taking pictures with their phones to show their friends, my niece took pics because she liked the decorating ideas. We had a couple of issues none that were not fixed by our agent Tayson, 1st when we turned the air on (we had just come from St Louis where it was 101 with 100% humidity) we kept blowing a fuse, called Tayson and he informed us that the air conditioning units have covers on them on the outside once those were taken off we were good as new. Then the kids wanted to make smores and we couldn't get the electric fireplace to turn on AGAIN Tayson was great and informed my husband how to get it working and we had our smores. Tayson was fantastic and very helpful thru the whole thing. One thing is the kitchen does have some cooking things but it could use more, we cooked many times in a week & we had to always make sure we could cook what we wanted with the pots etc that where there. We did 2 days at Yellowstone (go in the west entrance) & had the BEST time ever, 2 days was good but could have done a 3rd, then we white water rafted (was great, but short) and went horseback riding in Alpine Wyoming. The mountains are gorgeous!! Staying in Driggs was FANTASTIC, SO MUCH CHEAPER staying here and townhome, you seriously couldn't get any better."

  • after 6 nights in park lodging this house is heaven!

"We stayed in Signal Mountain at GTNP for 2 nights and then 4 nights in YNP. We loved the parks and had a great time but after 6 nights sharing a hotel room with our kids, 11 and 12, we were thrilled to arrive at this lovely, well appointed and peaceful house for 3 nights to end our vacation. The house had a great layout. We immediately raised all the blinds to have an open airy full view of the mountains and fields. Not sure which we liked more! Kids were thrilled to have a big tv and wifi and I was thrilled to do laundry, meet locals and read on either the front porch, back porch or swing, and we all loved the hot tub. Although the weather did not cooperate enough to allow us to do whitewater rafting in Jackson or the double kayaks that Carolyn recommended on the Teton River, we still had a great time playing games that were at the house, hot tubbing, bike riding, going on the chair lift at Grand Targhee and doing some short hikes and eating some amazing meals at Teton Thai, Brakemans, the Royal Wolf, Hacienda C, and War Birds. Kids loved the milkshakes at the Victor Emporium. Watching the storms was amazing-there were times you could not see the Grand Tetons at all. After one storm, we saw a double rainbow and one of the rainbows was complete from one end to the other. The locals were so friendly. We even turned on the fireplace a few times after a storm would roll through. I loved being wakened by the mooing cows. Carolyn, thanks for such a lovely house and for being so responsive. Scott, the caretaker, was great too-he got us an extra bike and helped with a medical issue. We are trying to figure out when we can return next. This was a wonderful end to an amazing vacation."

  • Outstanding home, friendly owners!

"Our friend, David, was so nice to introduce us to such a wonderful couple, and I'd like to thank them so much for letting us use their home. We just spent a week in this over the top home. We have rented million dollar homes all over the world & this property was wonderful. It snowed on us 5 of the 7 days we were here but the home was so warm and cozy(even if it is very large) that we had the best time.We spend 2 days in yellowstone & 3 days in the tetons out of jackson & it was a perfect home base. There were 4 adults and 2 children but house would accommodate several more. Thanks so much for sharing your home with us, we just wish Kevin and Holly had been there to enjoy it with us!"

  • Peaceful stay in Victor

"We arrived late in the evening to find our condo the only unit in our section of the building occupied which was so nice since we had had the ubiquitous elephant walking over us for the last two weeks! The condo has lots of windows and two balconies all of which we enjoyed. With leaf-on, the views were limited, but we did enjoy the sunset skies. The bed and linens were extremely comfortable, the kitchen well-equipped and the lighting in the rooms ample. Our unit was clean and in good condition and as pictured in the photos. The entry to the building was well-lit and in good repair. Although we are GLAD we rented on the Idaho/quiet side of the mountain this trip to the Jackson area, we probably would not stay here on future journeys. The trek through Teton Pass, a 30-minute journey each time we made it, although gorgeous, is one steep, curvy road. We had never made it this far west in the area, and it is a lovely sight with gorgeous views. The town of Victor is a peaceful looking place, and there is a wonderful grocery store with reasonable prices just eight miles north in Driggs. The condo has lots of neighbors--people living normal lives, going to school and work. Even with that traffic, we enjoyed our stay. If you don't want to fight the restaurant crowds in the Jackson area, there are several on the west side of the mountain as well as Nora's Fish Creek Inn which we enjoyed immensely. Check it out on TripAdvisor. There is also an easy access, less-traveled road to the Tetons at Wilson, just a hop, skip and a jump from the east side of the Wy line. Once again, it is very convenient to getting around traffic and road construction in Jackson."
