  • Girls Getaway

"We had a girls weekend at the Pineapple Retreat and had the best time. The house is in a perfect location and so close to the beach. The community is absolutely adorable as well. We did the winery tours and were in great location to that. There was a small hiccup in checking in, but the owners were very accommodating and sincere. The owners respond quickly and will help with any recommendations. Even though we did a girls weekend, this house is perfect for families as well. The house is set up in a great way with plenty of beds to sleep. Loved the back patio area and grill! All the linens and kitchen utensils are provided. They have many spices and condiments available for use. I would recommend this to any of my friends and family. Great location, great house, great owners. Thank you for everything!"

  • LOVED this place!!!!!!

"We are from the Washington DC area and booked the Lake House to stay in because our daughter got married at an orchard in Bloomington and none of the condos in downtown bloomington were available. I am a city girl. I am NOT a cabin in the woods girl. BUT....this cabin was amazing. The pictures really don't do it justice, in my opinion. It was clean, beautiful, and more than suited our needs. I catered the wedding and, though I'd done most of the cooking in DC and transported it, the kitchen in the cabin was a Godsend to be able to do the finishing touches. I brought much of my own equipment, but could have packed much lighter. There's plenty there for most cooks to be able to put a meal together. I wish we had planned to stay longer to be able to really relax and enjoy the place and the surroundings. It feels superbly secluded, but you are still within about 10 minutes of suburban civilization (grocery and other shopping and restaurants) and 20-25 minutes of [the very cute] downtown Bloomington (We strongly recommend the Irish Lion restaurant on Kirkwood Avenue). There are journals on the living room table in which previous guests have written about their stays in the cabin. We enjoyed reading those the first night. We did use the hot tub, which was incredibly welcome after an 11 hour drive. We didn't get to meet Peter and Suzanne, but I spoke to Peter on the phone a couple of times and he was incredibly nice. If it weren't so far away, this would be a place we would ABSOLUTELY frequent."

  • An Amazing Spot for a Company Retreat

"My company retreat was at Tyner Pond Farm, and we had a blast. It was an easy drive from Indianapolis, and the area was beautiful! Chandra and Kara were such a great help through the planning process as well. The house was beautiful, spacious, and had everything we needed. We walked around the farm to see chicks, piglets and a few farm cats. When we were still at the farmhouse we were brainstorming occasions to come back for. I think you will have some repeat customers with our crowd! Thank you Tyner Pond Farm!"
