  • Lawrence condo

"this codo is adequate for a group of 2or a group of 8. The rooms are cozy and decorated modernity. The kitchen is a bit small for a large group but all the items you need are there for the making. I have stayed here twice and it's always my first choice of housing when I'm in Lawrence. I will stay there again and again."

  • Hidden Gem

"Since our son was getting married in Lawrence and we were going to be there for a week, we wanted to stay in a house rather than a hotel. This house was perfect! Just as perfect as the fall weather! Lots of space. Large enough to entertain friends for brunch the morning after the wedding. Very clean, comfortable, with fun artwork throughout. A hidden gem in a quiet neighborhood. Highly recommended!"

  • Wonderful X-mas stay

"Our family came to KS from DC, NY & NJ to spend X-mas w/ my very pregnant sister, who couldn't travel for the holidays. The house was exactly what we were looking for -- a cozy place to sleep, but large enough to accommodate the whole group for dinner, opening presents, etc. The location was fantastic -- we could easily walk to coffee shops, restaurants, etc. -- and the house itself was well-stocked and managed (and more spacious than the pics suggest!). Highly recommended."

  • stopover vacation treat

"I was looking for a stopover place to stay on our drive from Texas to Nebraska to bury my mom's ashes when I found this fantastic and magical place. It turned our trip into a wonderful vacation as well, as we could see the Flint Hills, Great Prairies and enjoy the thrill of staying right next to an active train route! I had my 2 Brittany dogs and daughter and sister and we rented 2 of the 3 rooms. They were both lovely and had a full kitchen in each so we were able to cook our dinner and sit on the porch enjoying the lovely views. Plenty of room to let my dogs run and we only wished we could have stayed longer. I'd recommend this place especially to dog lovers who want to travel with their 4 legged family members. There are alot of trails that are also pet friendly in the Great Prairie National Preserve nearby. And it was fun sitting on the back porch feeling and watching the trains go by. That was a special treat!"
