"Our little family had a great time over there (with our two girls : 1 1/2 and 3 1/2 years old). The cabin is a few feet from the water. The view from the cabin is amazing. The lake is beautiful. There is a little beach and a long deck a 30 seconds walk away. Also on the premises a little parc for kids, but which would need some love. Gerry is always quick to answer our queries. The spot/campground has a number of cabins, many were not occupied while we were there so did not feel cramped. Outside of the spot, road not great for walking. And not much things to do with kids if you drive around as the surroundings a bit run down. However, to stay in or out of cabin, and appreciate nature, I would highly recommend."

"We have been vacationing on Embden Pond for several years and had been in search of the perfect rental. This year we found it in Tall Pines. This place was fantastic and had everything we could possibly need in a lakeside rental. We enjoyed the private dock, large fire pit (Including plenty of firewood) and beautiful sunsets. The cabin had everything you need to feel comfortable including air conditioning on hot summer nights. The owners were great to deal with and made you feel welcomed by checking in with you (via email) upon arrival. We are so looking forward to returning to Tall Pines Next Summer!"

"This place is just amazing the way that the nature connects with the house it give you the sense that you are part of it only that you got all the commodities with it without affecting the environment and the life around it . We love fishing and here is really good if you know what you doing ,try talk to the locals that would give you some tips and some local knowledge about the lake . They are some sand bars in certain parts of the lake that we found using the pontoon boat and got the chance to meet some locals and believe me they get big bass fishing here . I did my first cast in one point of the lake and BOOM !! landed my first large mouth bass so happy !! .
The owners of the house always make sure everything is tight and ready to use they think about everything is just good to get to a place and get more of what you thought you would get .
We visit the Pemaquid light house not to far from the house maybe one hour and 20 minutes we have great day. Their you can see this historic place and also you can have a dinner or breakfast at the same time viewing the lobster man putting their traps . You also can take you wine and just sit down by the rocks and contemplate the sight . We enjoy seeing the people painting and trying to freeze the view on their canvas what a nice experience .
For lunch we went to eat lobsters we talk to some locals they told us to go to Muscongus Bay Lobsters maybe 15 minutes ride from pemaquid great place just take route 32 you can take your own wine and drinks believe me this is the place if you want to try the real maine ,the view ,the boats ,the people it all goes together just and amazing place to go . We got back and we did a lot kayaking if you wake up early you would love it and if you do it on the sunset you will experience the change of the colors on the sky can tell you got to see it .
Well hope this would make you book this house because for us it sure did ."
