  • Beautiful private setting - walk to Black Fish Restaurant, Local Store - Bike to Beach

"A beautiful house and great property in a cool spot. The place was clean and fully equipped with linens, towels, everything you could want in the kitchen, plus a washer /dryer. The bathroom was clean and big downstairs and there was another bathroom upstairs too. The house is post and beam construction with wide plank wood floors and tons of living space. It has all of the old house charm a Cape house should have. Everything about the place was better than we had hoped for. You can walk right to Black Fish Restaurant and eat or drink at the bar. The food is fantastic. There is also a store at the end of the road with beer and wine, as well as espresso and other coffee, sandwiches, and other groceries. There was a new patio in the back of the house with a barbeque which we didn't have a chance to use, but it was a great place to sit. Overall - top notch accommodations - comfortable bed, fast Internet and great communication from the owner. Very glad it was available."

  • Wonderful get-a-way

"We had a great time at your place this past week. The house was waiting for us with open arms and we enjoyed every minute. The weather was perfect...the beaches deserted and pristine. We were greeted by seagulls and lots of seals at Head of the Meadow. The house is the prefect fit for us...we like lots of privacy and room to ramble and a kitchen to cook in as we get fresh seafood every night and prepare it at "home". The Savory is a sweet walk in the morning for the paper and a breakfast treat plus a little something for dessert later on. Seafood easily available if you head the other direction. The kitchen is well equipped for all our culinary adventures. Cable or a dvd provide a little entertainment in the evening. P'town is an easy jaunt and no trip would be complete without at least one hike of the dunes. You can keep your over populated places at the other end of the Cape...we'll take this place anytime we can get it."

  • A very peaceful vacation

"We had a great stay at the house. It is full of charm and very spacious. One additional attraction is its privacy and quiet- it feels incredibly peaceful, yet it is close to everything; Rte 6, food shopping, beaches. We can't wait to go back."

"Rented the main house for 2 weeks in June and had a wonderful time. Open and airy upstairs level (great room in center, master bedroom off one end, screen porch off the other) is even nicer than photos suggested. Comfortable bedroom suite downstairs. Private and quiet with great views. 1 mile from Truro center, 5 minutes from magnificent ocean beach, and 15 minutes from Provincetown. House is well maintained, with owners who are well organized and receptive to questions or requests We have rented many vacation homes over the years and feel this was among the very best. The next time we vacation on Cape Cod, we will definitely try to rent it again."

Truro Travel Tips

Truro Rentals for Small Town Life and American History

The small town of Truro in Cape Cod, Massachusetts attracts visitors with its long, sandy beaches and rolling sand dunes. Independent travelers seeking sun and history find both in abundance in Truro summer rentals. In school, we learn about the Pilgrims and their struggle for survival on arrival in the New World. Your Truro lodging puts you in their footsteps. Not far from your Truro rental is Corn Hill, where the Pilgrims found that famous stash of corn that saved them from starvation. It was in the spring here that they took their first drink of water in what would become America. If Truro was special to the Pilgrims, you will find a special place too, in a Truro summer rental.

Truro Rentals Allow for Dining Options

Fifteen towns and two island communities of Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard, each with their own unique character and charm, combine to create Cape Cod. Truro rentals are ideal locations from which to see this unique area. Truro itself maintains the strong historical ties to the seas that brought its first residents, and visitors choosing Truro lodgings can make the most of the local catch. You will find a huge variety of fish dishes, from clam shacks on the beach to fine dining within an easy distance of a Truro summer rental property available direct from the owner.

Truro Lodging by the Lighthouse

If you choose your Truro Lodging wisely, you may find yourself able to watch the famous Cape Cod Light, the oldest lighthouse in Cape Cod. You better hurry though, before the view from these Truro rentals is changed forever. The lighthouse structure suffers from erosion and, unless it is rescued, will soon fall into the Atlantic. The local population takes care of the area seriously. Visitors staying at Truro summer rentals should know that over half the area is protected as a Cape Cod National Seashore District.

Truro Summer Rentals Allow You to Stock up on Art

Around your Truro summer rental, you will find a diverse night life with quaint coffee houses on the waterfront and Boston style dance clubs. These options make for a great night out. The area is also home to talented artists and craftsmen so you may find your Truro lodging fills up with mementos and unique gifts. Speak to the owner of your Truro rental to find out the best places for bargains. Book your Cape Cod lodging on VRBO today and plan your escape.
