"Large house, quite location. can walk to the bay in 10 minutes. had a great stay with great weather. hosue is quirky and has some maintenance needs, but fine by us. There are some sprial stairs that could be a challenge to some. The cable tv was out, so we missed some things we wanted to watch, but other than that we had fun and will stringly constider a return trip. clean and comfy, owner very responive."

"We've rented numerous homes on the Cape and this was by far our favorite! My family--2 adults, 2 teenagers and a dog--stayed here in August 2015. The house was beautiful, spacious, immaculate and the perfect getaway from the Boston 'burbs. The landscaping was beautiful--a welcome surprise when we arrived. The decor was fun, tasteful and interesting, creating just the right atmosphere for a relaxing week. The beautiful new kitchen was well-stocked. The living area was sunny with a beautiful view. We ate all our dinners on the deck off the dining area, and enjoyed many cups of coffee in the lounge chairs on the outer deck. When the weather was a little damp, we took advantage of the games and puzzles that were in ample supply. My son loved having the entire downstairs "suite" to himself and the grown-ups loved that each child had his/her own bathroom separate from ours. The kids had a blast discovering Ballston, Longnook and Cornhill beaches. (We'd previously gone to the bigger beaches, but these were far less crowded and, I would argue, nicer.) And we took full advantage of local offerings--restaurants, Truro Farmer's Market, Payomet Performance Center, Oliver's Red Clay Tennis Courts, Provincetown and Cape Cod Rail Trail. Just a wonderful way to spend a summer week."

"My two sisters and our husbands and my niece stayed here for a week. The house worked great for us! The living and dining room and kitchen are all open, with picture windows and decks all around so that you are always looking out at the water. The deck has a boardwalk that goes out to an overlook of the beach where it is super nice to sit with coffee in the morning. Gorgeous sunsets every night with a view of the Provincetown Monument. The kitchen is very well stocked and there are plenty of boogey boards and chairs for the beach. Good games in the living room to keep kids occupied in the evenings and rainy weather. The house is situated on a high hill above the bay so that we always had a great breeze, even when it was hot. We mostly used the outdoor shower, which was awesome. The private bay beach below is beautiful and quiet and an easy walk from the house. The access is about a hundred yards up the street. We had rented bikes for the week and usually a few of us biked to Ballston Beach and back, which is a great ride. Owners were easy to work with. All in all, it made for a very memorable vacation for us! I would stay again without hesitation!"

"Back for the 5th time, our stay was lovely, as always. It's like coming home now and we look forward to our home away from home. The proprietor is so wonderful to work with and we love her place in the woods. It's great to be far from the maddening crowds that can flood Cape Cod. With a place for pastries, coffee, pizza and the paper in walking distance, fresh fish a short drive and a new stationary goods store now...we are in heaven. I suppose I should mention the lovely beach within a 15 minute walk also...so many nights of stunning sunsets. I won't say anything more...don't want our favorite place to get too popular."
