  • On the beach and well worth the price!

"We are at the cottage as I write, and eager to dispel anyone's concerns about this cottage, since we have been coming for several years and always left delighted. First of all the place is always clean when we arrive. The kitchen is equipped with all the necessary gadgets and there is always detergent available in the laundry. There is a nice big living room to accommodate the whole family. One might characterize this cottage as simple living, but it's perfect for a relaxed beach vacation and without question a clean well-lighted place."

  • Great house for large family. Nice view

"House was just as advertised. Quiet location, comfortable rooms and easy to keep clean. Only drawback was kitchen was a bit disorganized. We were a family of ten plus a baby and never felt crowded. Would definitely rent again."

  • An oasis well located

"This is a perfect house for a family with children. The layout of the rooms, the bunk beds in the basement for children and the living room/dinning room/kitchen in one open area, allows privacy as well as good family time. The propriety is situated at a perfect location : 5 to 10 minutes car ride from all the best beaches that Cape Cod can offer, 10 minutes from the center town of Wellfleet (where you can find Hatch's fish market) and only 15 minutes from Provincetown. The surrounding of the house is amazing. We were delighted to spend our vacation amongst the blue jays, cardinals, chickadees and woodpeckers. The owner installed a bird feeder and everyday we could enjoy bird watching on the deck that surrounds the house. I definitely recommend this place!"

  • Great house - Great value

"This is a large and fully equipped house, a great spot for a group. The house is fully stocked with linens, towels, beach chairs,, cooking equipment, etc. When we arrived the beds were all made. I have rented houses in this area for years, and often you have to bring your own linens and towels, so this was a particularly appreciated feature. The bedrooms are spread out among all three levels of the house and there are bathrooms attached to all of them, so this meant that everyone could have some privacy which is important when a group that doesn't normally live together is vacationing for a week. The owner is super responsive to any and all requests and very accommodating. The house has some minor repair needs which are about par for the course in a rental property. Nothing that is a big deal for a week. This house is a great value. We had a wonderful time there, and would definitely rent it again."

Truro Travel Tips

Truro Rentals for Small Town Life and American History

The small town of Truro in Cape Cod, Massachusetts attracts visitors with its long, sandy beaches and rolling sand dunes. Independent travelers seeking sun and history find both in abundance in Truro summer rentals. In school, we learn about the Pilgrims and their struggle for survival on arrival in the New World. Your Truro lodging puts you in their footsteps. Not far from your Truro rental is Corn Hill, where the Pilgrims found that famous stash of corn that saved them from starvation. It was in the spring here that they took their first drink of water in what would become America. If Truro was special to the Pilgrims, you will find a special place too, in a Truro summer rental.

Truro Rentals Allow for Dining Options

Fifteen towns and two island communities of Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard, each with their own unique character and charm, combine to create Cape Cod. Truro rentals are ideal locations from which to see this unique area. Truro itself maintains the strong historical ties to the seas that brought its first residents, and visitors choosing Truro lodgings can make the most of the local catch. You will find a huge variety of fish dishes, from clam shacks on the beach to fine dining within an easy distance of a Truro summer rental property available direct from the owner.

Truro Lodging by the Lighthouse

If you choose your Truro Lodging wisely, you may find yourself able to watch the famous Cape Cod Light, the oldest lighthouse in Cape Cod. You better hurry though, before the view from these Truro rentals is changed forever. The lighthouse structure suffers from erosion and, unless it is rescued, will soon fall into the Atlantic. The local population takes care of the area seriously. Visitors staying at Truro summer rentals should know that over half the area is protected as a Cape Cod National Seashore District.

Truro Summer Rentals Allow You to Stock up on Art

Around your Truro summer rental, you will find a diverse night life with quaint coffee houses on the waterfront and Boston style dance clubs. These options make for a great night out. The area is also home to talented artists and craftsmen so you may find your Truro lodging fills up with mementos and unique gifts. Speak to the owner of your Truro rental to find out the best places for bargains. Book your Cape Cod lodging on VRBO today and plan your escape.
