  • Love this house

"This was the third time we've stayed at this wonderful home.Love the layout, the furnishings and the location. Feels like a large, secluded treehouse with a lovely deck and a view of the bay. Additionally, the house is well situated near the "downtown" of Truro and with easy access to both the ocean and the bay. Likewise, it is a short drive into Provincetown. We have already booked the house for next year and hope to make it an annual retreat."

  • Wonderful home to return to at the end of the day.

"The home was cared for and spacious with a view of the bay and sunsets over Provincetown. Always a cooling ocean breeze. We loved the location as it was easy access to Provincetown and Wellfleet - towns that we enjoy. The ocean beaches & the bay beaches are within a 5 min. drive. Marconi Beach is about 20 mins. Easy to get to bike trails;great nature walk at Audubon Sanctuary; live theater at the WA in Wellfleet and a no. of theaters in Provincetown. If you enjoy art galleries, great food - can't beat the location. We didn't cook much as we chose not to but the kitchen is well equipped. We plan to return next summer. The owner is responsive and pleasant."

  • Great house for large family. Nice view

"House was just as advertised. Quiet location, comfortable rooms and easy to keep clean. Only drawback was kitchen was a bit disorganized. We were a family of ten plus a baby and never felt crowded. Would definitely rent again."

Truro Travel Tips

Truro Rentals for Small Town Life and American History

The small town of Truro in Cape Cod, Massachusetts attracts visitors with its long, sandy beaches and rolling sand dunes. Independent travelers seeking sun and history find both in abundance in Truro summer rentals. In school, we learn about the Pilgrims and their struggle for survival on arrival in the New World. Your Truro lodging puts you in their footsteps. Not far from your Truro rental is Corn Hill, where the Pilgrims found that famous stash of corn that saved them from starvation. It was in the spring here that they took their first drink of water in what would become America. If Truro was special to the Pilgrims, you will find a special place too, in a Truro summer rental.

Truro Rentals Allow for Dining Options

Fifteen towns and two island communities of Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard, each with their own unique character and charm, combine to create Cape Cod. Truro rentals are ideal locations from which to see this unique area. Truro itself maintains the strong historical ties to the seas that brought its first residents, and visitors choosing Truro lodgings can make the most of the local catch. You will find a huge variety of fish dishes, from clam shacks on the beach to fine dining within an easy distance of a Truro summer rental property available direct from the owner.

Truro Lodging by the Lighthouse

If you choose your Truro Lodging wisely, you may find yourself able to watch the famous Cape Cod Light, the oldest lighthouse in Cape Cod. You better hurry though, before the view from these Truro rentals is changed forever. The lighthouse structure suffers from erosion and, unless it is rescued, will soon fall into the Atlantic. The local population takes care of the area seriously. Visitors staying at Truro summer rentals should know that over half the area is protected as a Cape Cod National Seashore District.

Truro Summer Rentals Allow You to Stock up on Art

Around your Truro summer rental, you will find a diverse night life with quaint coffee houses on the waterfront and Boston style dance clubs. These options make for a great night out. The area is also home to talented artists and craftsmen so you may find your Truro lodging fills up with mementos and unique gifts. Speak to the owner of your Truro rental to find out the best places for bargains. Book your Cape Cod lodging on VRBO today and plan your escape.
