So in love with this place!
"We enjoyed this place so much. Wish we could just live there forever. Took many pictures of the view from all angles. The sunsets are beautiful. The binoculars were a nice bonus. The cabin was clean and well maintained with everything we needed. The yard and gazebo and waterfall were so inviting and peaceful. I recommend a drive up the blue ridge parkway. We saw awesome mountain views, Elk, The village behind the visitors center, an old grist mill, The town of cherokee had a nice park along a river shopping and indian dancers. We had fun on the big swing in the highlands. Went horseback riding there too. You can go fishing and play bingo right there in Franklin. It was an all around good time with lots to do in the area. Oh yes! we did see 1 bear. Wish I coulda got a picture before mom scared it away."

"We vacationed here for a week and wished it was 2 weeks. We enjoyed the house and the property. We really liked sleeping to the sound of rushing water every night. Very comfortable for even 2 small groups of people. There is a nice deck in the back, overlooking the mini-waterfalls and creek. A large deck in the front overlooks the creek. Then a lower large outdoor area, that is a covered deck with a table. That spot has 2 shallow wading areas that you can walk right into. The driveway to the house is a great little morning and evening walk, some open field and the rest is woods. Inside, there are 2 "living" areas. One that includes a TV. The eating area was large so it could accommodate a group of people. An adult said the futons were comfortable to sleep on. I think families with kids would really like it, if they enjoy the outdoors. I would definitely come back to this house to stay."

"We are long time visitors to this are. We had a great time and stayed an extra night to boot. Diane was easy to work with especially with our pet. Had a few minor issues but Diane said they would be taken care of and we would recommend this property to anyone with a family. The hornets under the front porch were not an issue as long as you left them alone, this is nature you know. We would like to come back in the future and miss the Cafe REL and the cool nights already. JG"

"The family enjoyed the cabin thoroughly. It is beautiful with plenty of privacy while being close to town. We enjoyed exploring the local museums, shops, waterfalls, hiking, attended the festival and even took a "ghost tour". We also got to see the leaves change day by day being surrounded by the woods around the cabin. Thank you for sharing your lovely, rustic-yet modern cabin. It was a great mini-family vacation."
