"We stayed here for the week of 6/21/15, my husband and I, my 85 year old mother and 8 year old granddaughter. It worked out perfectly for us and what a great place to stay. Serendipity had everything we needed and the accommodations were very roomy and comfortable. The beds were better then home, although, I personally would not have wanted to sleep on the futon, but, it worked out great for our granddaughter. We loved sitting on the porch overlooking the mountains in the mornings with our coffee. It is an awesome place."

"Just perfect. I was hoping to accomplish several things this year while on vacation. I wanted some peaceful time to relax by myself in nature, away from the noise of the city. I wanted to explore the mountains and hike waterfall trails. I also wanted to spend time with my girlfriend and her family, which has become a rare occasion. I found the perfect place to accomplish all of these things.
If you want peace and quiet, you got it. If you want a base camp to explore the beauty of western North Carolina, you got it. There is so much to do in the area...waterfalls, hiking trails, tubing and kayaking, fishing...or if you're in the mood, just relax and don't do anything! Make sure to try the boiled peanuts though, you won't have a hard time finding them...
I really can't say enough about Gary and Cherie as hosts. They are more than accommodating and just really beautiful people. You can tell that they really love their cabin, it was masterfully built and is meticulously kept. The first few nights my girlfriend and I had the cabin to ourselves, later on in the week we had 3 other adults join us...there was no problem as far as space or comfort. I really wish we had a few more days to enjoy!
Thanks Gary and Cherie (and Katie)!!!"

"I had the pleasure of spending my 50th birthday in this beautiful mountain home! It was the perfect setting for all of the things we love to do on a vacation...relaxing, fishing, swimming, enjoying an outdoor fire in the evening and soaking in the beauty of the Smokey Mountains by day!! As others have said, the home is wonderfully equipped with almost anything you could need...and then some...and Annette was a most gracious and accommodating host. The care and love the family puts into their mountain home is evident in every room, and really made us appreciate our time there...the week literally flew by! As motorcycle enthusiasts, we found this to be a fantastic location to explore and enjoy all of the beauty and excitement the area has to offer. We will definitely return to this spot as soon as we are able!!!"

"Valentine's getaway for me and wife. This place is beautiful and QUIET! Just what we were looking for to be alone and snuggle. The restaurant at the country club is very good. There had been some work on the water lines by the county a few days prior to our arrival and this ended up clogging the waterlines in our unit-Janice and Richard were on the spot and offered us their other unit without question and allowed us to stay late on Sunday as a bonus. These are quality people that care about your satisfaction and comfort. We will be back for sure!!!"
