  • Cute condo

"We stayed for two nights this past weekend. Although the weather did not cooperate, we still enjoyed the visit to this sleepy town. Pluses: A short walk to the beach, wi fi, gorgeous view, short walking distance to restaurants and shops, and a lot of kitchen appliances. Minuses: Very squeaky 2nd floor subfloor, needs better skillets/pans in kitchen, additional spatulas, fan in bedroom was broken, no soaps or toiletries, no hairdryer. We ended up purchasing fans as it was very warm at night and a hairdryer (which we left there for the next guests). Town is very sleepy, most places close early even on the weekend."

  • Annual President's Weekend Beach Vacation

"The house was modern and very clean. It allowed our two families (one with toddler and one with teens) the space we needed. If you are stuck indoors due to weather it is a great find. There were books (children and adult), games (board, card and ping-ping) and electronics (multiple TVs with cable and a Wii) if you HAVE to be inside. The property is on the beach, so the view is unobstructed, but it is a little bit of a walk to get to the water. The kitchen amenities were amazing. Well beyond what we have in our homes. The crib and baby gates (these were necessary with the stairs), were thoughtful. The rooms were well stocked with towels, sheets, and extra blankets. We did end up purchasing a cookie sheet to make cookies/pizza on and I recommend one for the house. Other than that it was a great place and would have been a great weekend if not for the near hurricane strength winds that arrived. But I guess that is the risk of being on a beach!"

  • Fabulous Place!

"We went to Heron Hollow for our annual girls' getaway. There were nine of us so we used the entire house. The setting is amazing and the weather was perfect! Everything was provided and we all loved the home, especially being able to sit out on the deck with a view of the ocean and listening to all the wonderful sounds. I would highly recommend this home to anyone wanting to have privacy but be just a short distance from all amenities. We will definitely consider returning on one of our next getaways!"

  • Great large home

"Rating Details: I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was spotless. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home overall was very nice. We had 8 adults and two kids and never felt over crowded. The trail to the beach was about a 5 minute walk. The only negative we experience was the large back yard has a lot of weeds with thorns in it. Not sure what they are but while playing volleyball the first day we noticed it. If the ball even touches the ground it's covered in thorns. Our little ones went running in the yard and both fell in the grass and when they got up they were covered in thorns. We spent a couple hours picking the thorns out of their hands and legs. So just a warning for those who want to play in the yard. It's worse the closure you get to the volleyball net area. Manager responded on 8/25/2014: Thank you for bringing this to our attention, we rely on guest feed back to consistently improve our homes for the well being and enjoyment of our guests, we will do everything in our control to eliminate this invasive prickly weed. Thank You Chandy"
