  • great spot

"We enjoyed the relaxing area; easy access to town. Took in the Cranberry Museum and hiked the trail around the lake, several times. The house had everything that we needed for our stay. Thanks for sharing your guest house."

"My daughter and Sister's family spent two nights at Hewitt House. The house is cozy and we felt right at home. Everything was perfect, and without a doubt - we will rent this again. Thanks."

  • Fantastic Townhome - Great Location!!

"The condo is very spacious and has all the comforts of home - you can tell it is not just a rental and is, instead, a retreat for the owners as well. With the 2 bedrooms and full bath downstairs, there is tons of space in the upstairs for the living/kitchen/half bath. The building only has 3 units in it (this one being an end unit) with a sister building of another 3 units next to it, so it's not one of those massive developments and it is in a very quiet neighborhood just a few blocks from the main drag in Long Beach which made walking to to the delicious Cottage Bakery everyday too easy. The building sits at a bit of a perpendicular angle to the coast, so the living room deck looks across the dunes and part of the ocean while the patio off the master bedroom (as well as the kitchen window) looks over the dunes towards the main Bolstad beach approach. There are screens on the patio/windows, so we were able to leave them open and enjoy the sounds of the ocean while lounging in the living room. The walk to the beach and/or discovery trail is very short and just past the condo as it is near the end of a dead end road shortly before the discovery trail. We were even treated to deer wandering through the neighborhood on more than one occasion during our stay. Corresponding and booking with the owner was easy and pleasant. You really cannot go wrong with this rental."
