"My wife and I stayed at the lakeside cabin for almost a week in Mid August. It is exactly as described. Irene was a very gracious and helpful host and gave us all the info we needed to have an enjoyable week. The cozy little cottage was a great place to spend some time just relaxing and taking in the gorgeous view. There was a humming bird feeder right outside the porch window which was humming with birds and a treat to watch. The outside deck was a great spot to read and/or just soak it all in. There is hiking and biking trails nearby which we took advantage of.The fishing was a bit slow but one day after some rain that certainly changed. The bass were biting and a nice sized large mouth was the highlight. Nearby Merril and Tomahawk have a variety of things to offer.
If you are looking for a quiet, quaint well taken care of cottage to relax, disconnect and soak in all that Knight lake has to offer I say check it out. If you need lots of action and reading a good book in a quiet and gorgeous spot is not your thing, I say find someplace else."

"Beautiful, well-maintained property with lovely owners. My extended family had a great visit together. Quiet, rural setting to relax, yet within driving distance of Door County resort activities for a day trip. A group of us went to visit the Farm in Sturgeon one day, and the littlest ones loved it, so everyone could enjoy! Edge of Town Bar & Grill for fish is not to be missed. Only minus: no mobile phone service unless you have the local WI provider. It felt good to unplug for awhile and enjoy the days."

"My family an I stayed at the lodge for a long Thanksgiving weekend. Between the fire, Icedishing on the Lake and watching the lighting of the Christmas tree in Boulder Junction during the Christmas walk it was a weekend we will all remember. The house is great. My brother and I looked up from ice fishing on the lake and saw the house lit up on the shoreline and both said it was the best cabin on the lake. Mike answered all of our questions (and we had a lot) quickly and was very friendly and professional. 5 out of 5"
