Fair experience

I never received code for the door. I got it two hours late and the turn lock didn't work! The Tv didn't work after the first day and no one could help us. No tv for 3 days.. she couldn't even give me a number to call for help. I was very disappointed.

Love The Place!

We loved this property. It’s cute, cozy, and right on the river. The view is spectacular. We loved watching the boats go by. Highly recommend and we would love to stay here again when we return.

Beautiful and Perfect Location

This property was beautiful, spotless, and in a perfect location in South Haven to access the beach, downtown bars and restaurants, view boats enter and leave the lake, and enjoy yourself. The condo was amazing in the detail to decoration and cleanliness. There wasn't a speck of dust anywhere in the place. The kitchen is well provisioned and roomy to cook if you wish. The private deck is perfect for a relaxing afternoon or early morning coffee. Directions to get in and the requirements for the stay were clear and accurate. Parking is one block away - I feel this is more than adequate in downtown SH. The only star I took off was for communication. The host did answer one question prior to my stay, but otherwise didn't respond when we notified we were in and when we left. However, we didn't need anything in any other sense, and I would 100% recommend this rental to anyone.

The view out both windows was GORGEOUS and the location was PERFECT! The place was very clean & well-decorated. Someone really put a lot of thought & work into the authentic nautical theme, using some high-quality materials & items used to complete the look. The building itself was a bit dated, but appeared clean & well-maintained. The kitchen was much nicer than I expected & the deck overlooking the water is a great benefit. The convenience store across the street is such a perk and their deli is good! Things to improve on: Honestly, the parking was not very convenient unless you got lucky with street parking, but that wasnt a big deal to us. There was only ONE thing that absolutely MUST be addressed. One of the main reasons (besides location) we chose this condo over others was because it offered a king size bed. However, the mattress & pillows were AWFUL! The bed felt cheap/flimsy to us. It felt like it was a child’s bed and was dipping in the middle when laying on it, & we are NOT heavy people. We both tossed & turned each night & woke up each morning with our lower backs aching. With an upgraded mattress, this condo would absolutely be our “go-to” year after year.

Small but great location

The location is great, the condo manager and owners super friendly and helpful. The place is really a 1 room flat with an additional futon, kinda tight for four people. Super clean. No channels on the TV, but with the beach we didn't need it. The one thing I didn't like was there were no screens in the windows so we couldn't open the windows to get a fresh air breeze. It would have also been nice to have an umbrella for the patio deck.

South Haven - Nautical Theme

This is our second time staying at this property. Heavy “nautical” decor ⚓️- but it’s fun and always makes me smile! Love the location easy walk to restaurants, bars and shopping. Great view of the river and draw bridge. Lots happening in the area so a bit noisy on the weekend, (music from bar across the river) but location out weighs that and the buildings big deck overlooks the river and is a great place to hang out and watch the people and boat traffic. Unit is well equipped. Took us a while to get the TV working, but did get it on - really didn’t spend much time watching it as so much to do in the area. Hope to return again next year! 👍

Response lacking

Stay was good. South Haven is incredible. Will not book this condo again because of the lack of communication. We didn’t have hot water when we arrived. We called the number but there was no answer so we emailed. Finally got a response when I called the office the next morning. Apparently someone didn’t turn on the breaker for the water heater. She guided me to breaker box location because she didn’t know when someone could get there. We also didn’t have any cable. After trying to fix it themselves, DirectTV said they needed to come. Never happened and the property manager never called us to follow up. Doesn’t sound like a big deal, but we felt we were not important or our issues were frivolous.

When we arrived to the building, just as described. Easy access with the code. When we entered the unit, I was “wowed “ by the decor and location. Very comfortable stay! Would definitely come back to stay here again!!

Great place in dowtown Soha!

This building has a wonderful elevator which was very appreciated by our son who is in a wheelchair. The only thing I would change is to remove some of the decor. Owner is a pleasure to deal with.
