This was a return trip to Newton Cottage South for us and the cottage is just as lovely as before. It’s spotlessly clean, comfortable and very well equipped. The view over the loch is a sight to behold and the location is perfect for visiting the surrounding areas.
This cottage is very central to Inveraray and is just a short walk into the town! The cottage was spotless and very cozy, and it was also very welcoming
Very nice house but very small. Even though it has two double bedrooms. It is ideal for a couple. In my opinion 4 would be a squeeze. All that said we had a very nice time although the traffic noise was quite loud especially when people were traveling to and from work. Double glazing would help but it is a listed building so this may not be possible.
From the South, exit the M74 at junction 4 and follow signs for Glasgow City centre (M8). Travel up the M8 taking junction 30 for the Erskine Bridge, and join the A82 to Dumbarton and Loch Lomond. At Tarbet, near the head of picturesque Loch Lomond, bear left onto the A83 signposted for Inveraray.
