The apartment was very comfortable for my husband and me,just what we were looking for, a safe and not so crowded place ,the apartment is very cozy it has all the necesary utensils for cooking if is your desire to do so. The ocean is close enough so for us with walking issues it was an A PLUS. The host Mr.Schroeder, welcome us very nicely. We will book this property again and recomended .

Nice please to expend a weekend, the owner is always around checking on the property and guests. Apartments are cozy and equipped with everything you need to be comfortable including beach chairs and umbrella. The only cons, on the app said small dogs stay free and I was requested to pay when arrived. Other than that, the beach is just a steps away, and is mostly a quiet place to enjoy.

This truly is a great find!!

I was looking for a quiet beach vacation. This was perfect! Wake up and the beach is just outside your door. I saw manatee, dolphins, stingray, and all kinds of birds. Doc was wonderful and very accommodating. Many fun things within walking distance or ride the trolley. Will definitely be coming here again!!! Thanks Doc for a perfect vacation !!!

Great place if you have fur babies. Many places don’t allow pets.

The owner communicated well. It’s a nice older Florida beach property This would not be a place for children. There is no pool and the condos behind the motel use the beach access road to their condominiums. They drive really fast on the beach access road where a lot of pedestrians are and where you walk your dogs.

long awaited vacation to beach

The rental on the inside was run down and greatly in need of update. Black mold around window in shower, bathroom in general was very dirty. Vents in ceilings were disgustingly filthy. My feet were black within 5 minutes of walking on the floors barefoot. Thank god I had a big can of lysol wipes. Remotes didn't work properly for TV's. I could go on and on. Only good thing was very close walk to beach and owner was friendly but has no clue about what's going on inside the units. Numerous renters had the same complaints as us, all said they would never stay there again. Expected alot better for the money it cost.

Perfect beach getaway!

We stayed for 4 nights and have a wonderful stay - unit was spotless, just steps from the beach! Within walking distance to CVS, Winn-Dixie, 7-11. Doc was a great host, check in was easy, we definitely hope to return next year!

Everything was exactly as described. The location was very handy for all activities. The owner was very responsive to any inquiries. Having a full kitchen was a money saver because we ate breakfast before going out and exploring. The section of beach behind the property was very close and never crowded.

The host Doc, was wonderful! He responded quickly to answer questions and handle little issues. This condo is just steps from the beach. Beach chairs and an umbrella were provided which made it easy to to enjoy the beach.

Steps to the beach!

My husband and I usually stay at a place that has a pool and is close to the beach. When the said 65 steps to the beach, they weren’t kidding. This place was close to everything, stores, shops, restaurants, Johns Pass, you name it, it was convenient. I used the washer & dryer $1.50 to was, and $1.00 to dry. Our place was very nice for 2 people. Doc was very nice, and responded very fast. The champagne that was left for us was a very nice gesture . Mimosas in the morning! The only thing the place didn’t have was a blender, but I still made the best of it, not a big deal. The lawn chairs were a plus. It was great that you didn’t have to worry about noise above you, because it was basically 1 floor. The beach was awesome, never busy, we would love to thank Doc for a pleasant stay, and we will definitely be back! ( I would love to stay for a month)

Everything we needed!

This little gem was perfect for our getaway. Super friendly owner (Doc) who gave great tips on where to eat and enjoy the beautiful sunsets. A nice bottle of wine was waiting for us upon arrival. We had our coffee and bagels in the morning before going about our day and eating at the many places in the area. Thanks so much for your hospitality!! We enjoyed it!

Beach umbrellas and chairs provided! Laundry room available. Clearly a rental-oriented property, but had enough personal touches to feel like an owner-occupied place. Just park your car and walk 2 blocks to town and everything....plus the solid Art Deco Style block construction building in an upscale location with over a mile long private residential beach front made it an easy choice.

It’s just a short minutes scenic walk along beautiful Gulf Blvd to Wynn Dixie grocery store, dress&gift shops, hair salons , beachy restaurants /beach bars or the World’s Famous John’s Pass waterfront Boardwalk. The popular beach trolley stops out front and is a must scenic ride along the scenic Blvd to Clearwater Beach or St.Petersburg Beach at the other end. A 1 day pass is just $2.00.
