About the host

Like you, my husband (Jess) and I (Rachel) enjoy traveling in cities and in natural environments, and creating time to connect with family, friends, and new people along the journey.

We believe that there are experiences in life that are too good to not be shared: a good meal, a sacred space, a home in which to relax. In that spirit, we open our unique homes and their offerings for you to enjoy.

When traveling, at times we find that our only interaction with locals are with the people whoses homes we are staying and at the restaurants we are eating. These ambassordors of place enhance the travel experience. With that in mind, we strive to be ambassadors for you of the places we know and love: San Francisco and the Point Reyes National Seashore.

Bay Area natives, we live in San Francisco and worked as environmental, public art, and tech professionals. We have been playing in SF urban parks and Point Reyes National Seashore since childhood. Jess is a potter (his studio is on the property in Inverness) and has created all of the pottery in our homes.

When we are not in California, we can be found studying and exploring ancient sites and cultures in Greece and Italy.

We love to learn from and share discoveries with others and look forward to sharing a place we love with you.

Rachel & Jess

Corona Heights is in the very heart of the city. Many of the city’s “must experience” neighborhoods and parks are within walking distance of the home, including the Castro, Mission District, Cole Valley, Haight-Ashbury, as well as Golden Gate Park, Twin Peaks, and Dolores Park.

There is so much going on every day and night of the week if you want within a few blocks from our home. And you return to a romantic home to relax and enjoy in sunny Corona Heights, with a private garden and views of the city and bay.

What makes this property unique

Guests will have access to the 2-story home, backyard and free parking in front of the home. You will have access to room except our personal office and garage.

To give you as much insider guidance as possible, we created a guide that highlights our favorite restaurants, cafes, parks, bars, markets, as well as a guide to help you navigate the art scene (broken down by districts). In addition, as an avid urban hikers, we created a guide of our favorite urban hikes which will introduce you to many of the city's treasurers. This guide is exclusively available to guests upon their arrival. Lots of insider knowledge to ensure you get the most from your visit to the city. A print version of this guide is waiting for you in the home.
