Great house for big family

We really enjoyed this home, we have a big family and everyone had a lot of room! The golf cart was great to have to take to the pools & beach! Everyone had a great time!

A wonderful time at a excellent property

Our family had a wonderful time at this home in Watercolor. It was just as advertised. They provided everything we needed for our week's stay. We also enjoyed using the bicycles and golf cart. We hope to be back again next summer.

Perfect Beach Getaway

We had 5 moms and 5 teen daughters on this beach trip and it was picture perfect. The house was just as described and the girls loved having their "own house" in the carriage house. We were an easy 4 minute bike ride from the beach, the Beach Club, and the center of Seaside. So many great memories were made. Wouldn't change a thing!

Family Vacation

We booked this place to celebrate a 50th wedding anniversary with our family (13 adults). Overall, it was so much fun and we had a wonderful time. The only drawback is the listing said, and the Property Management Company concurred, that this slept 14 adults comfortably. This is not the case - 11 adults would be most ideal as the two twin beds are in a very confined and small closet-like space. Other than squeezing in and making the sleeping arrangements work, the house, the location and most everything else was great. We did show up with a golf cart that did not work and 2 broken bicycles, but 30A Exclusives communicated and fixed the problems quickly. Thank you for a wonderful time!!

The only glitch, and it was serious, was the condition of the bikes provided by VacayZen. In the first batch, the pedals fell off of the first three we tried almost resulting in a serious accident. The replacement set was not better; the first one we rode also had a pedal fall off. With the help of Exclusive 30A, they finally got a set that was functional. VacayZen also told us that baskets were not available for the bikes, yet each one was equipped with a basket attachment. Exclusive 30A was great; VacayZen, their subcontractor, was not.

A short golf cart or bike ride to beach club and camp watercolor. My only complain was the construction going on next door. We were warned about that construction could occur in our area. I did not realize it was directly next door and would begin at 7am and continue throughout the day. The houses are so close together that it was not possible to enjoy the porches outside due to the amount of noice and conversations of the workers next door. But, this was stated in the description so it is only a minor complaint. Everything else was wonderful. Beautiful home and nicely decorated. I would definitely rent again as soon as construction is complete next door.

Large house big enough for 10 adults and three children

Our family had a blast!!! We swam in all the Watercolor pools and visited the private beach access. The pools were warm and almost empty most of the time we were there. The private beach access was a little tricky to navigate because of all the rules the community has but we eventually figured it out. Check in and out was a breeze! We rented two cribs and multiple bikes from another company through the house they arrived prior to us arriving. The only issue we had was the golf cart tire got a flat tire from a nail ( per the property manager) leaving us stranded with three car seats and three children two under the age of one. We were give little to no option or reimbursement for the three days the cart was getting repaired. There is tons of construction all over the city including right next door where I’m guessing we found the nail. The beach gear was mostly broke. The chairs were missing arm rests and the umbrella was missing the base pole completely. Mostly I think it was stuff people left after their stay that accumulated. I’m was a bit surprised with the underwhelming supples for the beach but also was not listed in the listing so we were not expecting much. The five bikes that were included needed a bit of tuning up when paddling they made a pretty bad grinding noise. And some of the bike locks were 5 digit combinations for the locks which we were not given.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had an ok stay in this home. It was clean and well stocked and the management company was responsive to our questions. However, it is a little older than some of the other homes I have rented and I strongly feel that they overstated how many guests the house would accommodate. We had 8 adults and it was tight. The common areas were crowded and felt small with the number of people we had. The pictures are deceiving and make the house look much larger than it is. We found the kitchen and bedrooms to be much smaller than we expected. The parking situation is also terrible. We only had 2 cars and the golf cart and parking was a pain. I I also think it would have been extremely helpful if the house had a key pad on the door. It was inconvenient to have the one key in a lock box.

The lights, under the cabinets, kept falling out. There was areas where there was no paint (like on the cabinet drawer above the hardware. The toaster’s handle kept coming off. There was a live roach on the counter in the laundry room, The right mirror screw of the cart needed to be tightened. There were stains on the rug and on the sofa upon arrival. I would NEVER be interested in using Exclusive 30-A. We were charged for stained queen sheets, but the queen beds were never used. We also got charged for a stain on the kitchen towel and to have the coach cleaned, which was already messed up. We had a nice time though, but my vacation was ruined by these charges.

Watercolor 2021

A golf cart came with the property. When we arrived it would not start so we thought it needed to be charged. We charged it overnight but it did not take the charge. Jeff from maintenance came out and found that it needed water and he put that into the cart. It then took a charge but we lost a day and a half without the cart. There was only one air-conditioning unit in the main house and in order to make the upstairs livable, the downstairs had to be freezing. A circuit breaker was thrown in that caused power outages in both carriage house and the main house. The blender in the main house did not work and the one in the carriage House did not have a proper top. Cabinet space was not adequate. The property was neat and clean and there was enough space for our family but not enough furniture in the main house to accommodate everyone sitting in the living room. The weather was fantastic for the whole week.

Beautiful Home in need of a little housekeeping

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, the house served our group of 5 mothers and 5 daughters very well. The "bonus built in twin beds" were essentially in a closet so not suitable for anyone older than 10 unless they are fine to hunch over to get into bed. When we arrived, there were several bulbs out, both wet and dry towels left in washer and dryer, missing blankets from one bedroom, a broken charger for the golf cart, non-working washer/dryer in carriage house and a loose flushmount light fixture in the bunk closet. We addressed all of these with Exclusive 30A and most were resolved by mid-week (no missing blanket provided, flushmount and W/D not fixed). That said, we still had a great vacation and made the best of it. Having rented in Watercolor 4-5/year for 10 years, we were a little disappointed at the number of small-but-inconvenient issues. Exclusive 30A seemed sympathetic but did not offer any compensation or real follow-up. We were also without the golf cart for a full day which was a true inconvenience. Assuming they can do a more thorough job ensuring house is ready for guests, I can recommend this house due to nice location and layout and 5-equal bedrooms. No real short straws aside from bunk closet.
