Just minutes from shopping, dining, entertainment and outdoor adventures, this rural retreat in the Avery’s Creek Community is a sanctuary of peacefulness. Along with the horses in the pasture you are bound to see wild turkeys and deer and hear bull frogs on summer nights.
Your Private Hot Tub is on a covered porch with a spectacular view of the mountains from the spacious lounge seats. This spa hot tub features 31 jets and 2 full body seats.

Your fully equipped private bungalow overlooks our private fishing pond and horse pasture. You can take a short hike on the wooded property, fish for trout, bass and brim or plan your day sipping coffee on the porch and end it sitting around a warm campfire sharing stories from your day’s adventure.

This convenient location is ideal for the outdoor enthusiast. Your romantic get-away is located just 10 minutes from the Mountains to Sea Trail, water sports on the French Broad River, hiking and biking at Bent Creek and the NC Arboretum. You are 10 minutes from dining, shopping and entertainment at Biltmore Park and Sierra Nevada Brewery, 15 minutes from the airport, North Mills River National Forest Recreation Area, and the Asheville Outlet Mall and 20 minutes from West Asheville, The Biltmore Estate and Biltmore Village, the River Arts District and Downtown Asheville.

Special amenities that can be arranged through the owners for an additional fee include: 1) Horse boarding for up to 2 horses during your stay. We will be happy to take you on a guided tour of some of our favorite riding trails in North and South Mills River, DuPont State Forest or Davidson River Recreation Area. 2) Guided hiking or trout fishing.

this house and area was the most beautiful area we could’ve chosen to celebrate my girlfriends birthday! the pond, the animals, feeding the horses, the trail, the view of the mountains, the vibes, the hot tub, the sunroom, everything was immensely perfect! the hosts knew we wanted to ride horses for the visit so they recommended a place to do so and we decided to go to the place they suggested and it turned out to be a blast of a time! the hosts also seem so very kind, i would stay here again for sure! highly recommend for a peaceful getaway!!

We stayed here four nights and didn’t want to leave. The description online did not disappoint. The property is very secluded and serene. Our morning coffee on the screened in deck overlooking the water was amazing. Listening to all the sounds of nature was the best way to start our day. Then, after long days of sightseeing, this cabin was perfect for unwinding in the evening. We have stayed at several different VRBO’s and this was by far the best. Donna was amazing from start to finish. Everything was organized and clean upon arrival. The flowers, snacks, and personalized welcome sign were a nice touch. She even left a note with a couple local beers to try and a bowl of farm fresh eggs in the fridge. We will definitely be staying here again in the future. Thank you Donna and Curtis for an amazing place to unwind!

This was a hidden gem. Property was as listed. We had privacy, a clean hot tub, clean and updated home, which was fully furnished, a fire pit and a screened in porch! The screened in porch was the perfect spot for our morning coffee and evening cocktails. The owners lived not far off property and they were very friendly, welcoming, but also gave us our privacy. The surrounding property was just stunning with mountain views, a pond and horses. Very picturesque! This is a perfect spot for a romantic getaway and great for couples wanting privacy and quiet. There is much to do all within an hour or so drive. We had a memorable time and would definitely return to this spot.

Donna thought of every details, there was wine,and beer available for guest free of charge,along with comfortable robes that made the stay feel even more welcoming.
