Looking for the perfect Smoky Mountain cabin for your next family getaway? You’ve just found it! Located in the Covered Bridge Resort, 3 Bears II is close to local attractions but far enough from the crowds and traffic that you can savor peace and quiet in the evenings after a day on the go. It also has plenty of amenities to keep everyone entertained when you’re not at an amusement park, on a hiking trail, or hitting the links or the slopes.
The spacious great room makes up most of the 2-story cabin’s main floor. With its wood-planked walls and floor, beamed cathedral ceiling, and well-cushioned seating, the living area invites the whole family to settle back and make themselves at home. It’s particularly delightful in winter, when everyone can gather in the glow of the fireplace to watch TV, surf the web via the free WiFi, or play a game on the Xbox.
Also in the great room is the dining area. The round table can seat 6 on handsome ladder-back chairs, and another 2 people can sidle up to the adjacent breakfast bar. An alternative is to eat outdoors. The huge wraparound deck includes a picnic table with benches, and a ceiling fan ensures that you’ll keep cool even during the heat of summer.
After your meal, you can continue to revel in the fresh mountain air and the view of Bluff Mountain beyond the trees. The deck’s numerous rocking chairs provide a comfy perch for listening to warblers in the morning and whip-poor-wills at night. Or for a truly luxurious experience, laze in the deck’s hot tub. The massaging jets of water will feel so restorative after a day of horseback riding or whitewater rafting.
Back indoors, you can head upstairs to the loft’s sitting area, which includes foosball and a roomy sofa. The large windows provide a bird’s-eye view of the lush trees surrounding 3 Bears II. If everyone else is downstairs watching TV, this room is a peaceful spot to lose yourself in a good book—or a good nap.
The master suite is located in the loft as well. Once you step inside, you might never want to leave. From the 4-poster king-size bed and the leather armchair to the TV and the Jacuzzi, every aspect of this room was designed with pampering and relaxation in mind. Even its private bathroom, which includes dual sinks and plenty of storage, is luxurious.
The other 2 bedrooms are on the main floor. Each has its own queen-size bed and TV. Like the rest of 3 Bears II, they’re furnished in rustic yet elegant fashion, with lustrous wood-planked walls and beamed ceilings. Should you have additional guests, one of the sofas opens into yet another queen-size bed, enabling the cabin to sleep 8 people in all. The 2nd full bathroom is located on the main floor as well.
In summer you’ll have free access to Covered Bridge Resort’s outdoor heated swimming pool and poolside deck. And year-round there’s plenty more to explore. Less than 2 miles away is Waldens Creek Stables, where you can ride horses and fish for bass, catfish, and carp in a large stocked pond. In 10 minutes you can drive to Smoky Mountain Alpine Coaster, the Coaster at Goats on the Roof, or Wears Valley Zipline Adventures. In less than 20 minutes you can get to Pigeon Forge Parkway, home to the Titanic Museum, dinner theaters, go-kart tracks, mini golf, the WonderWorks educational museum, amusement parks, and more. Just a bit farther are Dollywood and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
There truly is something for everyone to enjoy when you stay at 3 Bears II. See for yourself; book your stay today—before someone else beats you to it!

Cabin was fine but no internet & managment company wasn't interested in helping
Please note, this is NOT a "Vacation Rental By Owner". This is a Vacation Rental By Large Corporate Management Company. The cabin itself was pretty much as described (aside from internet issue; more to come). Pretty basic but as expected. My real issue was with the experience. As soon as I booked the place through VRBO & paid, I immediately started getting emails wanting me to electronically sign a contract. This is thing is about 10 pages long & appears to be a scam to get you to inadvertently sign up for renter's insurance if you don't read it carefully enough. Then they want you to download their app to your phone. I have no desire to download another app just for a short vacation. Plus the location of the cabin on the app was incorrect so I wasted an hour or two finding the place. The worst part was getting to the cabin & having no internet. I called one of the help lines & he told me someone would come out the next day. No one did. I called again & asked for a call back. No one did. When a service man came out on day 3 or 4 of a week long vacation, they sent a general handy man. Nothing against him, he did the best he could, but he wasn't an internet service tech. He even tried to call the internet company & trouble shoot over the phone, but the ISP wouldn't work with him because he wasn't the owner. After having no luck with the internet company, the maintenance guy told us he would call the office & they would have to get a hold of the owner & the owner would have to call the internet company... At that point we knew all hope was lost. I tried calling the management company a few more times but they no longer answered the phone or returned my calls.
