3 Bedrooms, 3 Baths, Sleeps 10
While Angel’s View has plenty to please just about everyone, it’s especially well-suited for several couples vacationing together: There is a bedroom, a bathroom, a sitting area, and a deck on each of its 3 floors, ensuring optimal privacy. And thanks to a queen-size sofa bed and 2 chair beds, the custom-built log home can sleep as many as 10 people.
Once you step out onto those decks, you’ll understand how Angel’s View got its name. The vistas of the Smoky Mountains are spectacular. You can savor the scenery from rocking chairs, a deck swing, or most pampering of all, a hot tub. Feeling the caress of the fresh breeze while you laze among steamy jets of water is a sensory delight.
The covered front porch is another delightful space for reveling among the sun-dappled trees during the day and the trilling of whip-poor-wills at night. Kick back in one of the rocking chairs or bring a drink and a snack to the patio table: Relaxation is practically guaranteed.
Of the 3 bedrooms, one has a king-size bed and the others have queen size beds. Each bedroom also has a TV and plenty of storage—though Angel’s View has its own washer and dryer, you can bring just a small bag with you. The top floor, in addition to a master suite, includes a spacious sitting area where you can stretch out with a book, surf the web via the free Wi-Fi, or indulge in a nap.
The living/dining/kitchen area makes up most of the main floor. With its flat-screen TV, Blu-ray and DVD players, Xbox, and library of movies, the living area is sure to be a favorite hangout spot. The golden glow from the wood-burning fireplace makes the space even more enticing and shows off the oak floors to perfection. And once you sink into those plush couches, you might never want to get back up!
The dining table easily seats 6, and there’s room for 3 more at the adjacent breakfast bar. The custom kitchen will appeal to any MasterChef wannabes: In addition to the full array of appliances, cookware, and tableware, it boasts a wealth of gleaming granite counter space, a handy island, and plenty of room for several sous chefs.
Like the other floors, the main level has a restful bedroom and a bathroom.
Along with the 3rd bedroom and bathroom, the downstairs hosts the game room, the centerpiece of which is a full-size pool table. If you’re too exhausted from your day on the go to even shoot pool, you can veg out in the TV nook, where you’ll find yet another perfectly cushioned sofa.
Angel’s View is located in Gatlinburg’s private Cobbly Nob community, itself set within a 1,000-acre resort. When you stay here in the summer you can swim in the neighborhood’s 3 outdoor pools, one of which is within walking distance of the cabin. And the golfers in your group will be delighted to know that less than 2 miles away is the Bent Creek Golf Course, designed by Masters and British Open champion Gary Player.
Less than 15 minutes from Angel’s View are the Great Smoky Arts & Crafts Community, an 8-mile trail of more than 120 galleries, studios, and shops, as well as two of the little known entrances to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, where you can enjoy hiking, trout fishing and spectacular scenery. Drive a bit farther and you’ll be in downtown Gatlinburg, home to the Guinness World Records Adventure, Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies, thrill rides, arcades, and more. One town over, in Pigeon Forge, are Dollywood, the Titanic Museum, the Tanger outlet mall, dinner theaters, and more fun.
When you stay at Angel’s View you can do it all—or you can do nothing at all but bask in the beauty of your surroundings. Go ahead and book your stay today… before someone else beats you to it!

Upon our arrival, just looking at the outside we knew it would be perfect! We loved the view that each deck had to offer! We made great use of the hot tub & pool table! What made the trip even more magical was waking up to see all the snow, even better it snowed while we were in the hot tub! The cabin was perfect for our spring break getaway! We will be coming back for sure!
Thank you for choosing to stay with us Abby. We are glad you enjoyed your Spring Break in the Smokies with a little magic of snow sprinkle in. We look forward to having you with us again on your next stay in Gatlinburg.
The view was beautiful. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
We really enjoyed the hot tub. However, The house was advertised to have a hot tub and a jetted tub which was a selling point for us because we were traveling with small children who are too young for the hot tub and they would have been able to enjoy the tub where we could better control the temperature and depth of the water. Also, there was some trouble with the electrical - some outlets worked and some did not and the heating was very inconsistent. We found ourselves opening windows in the night to keep from sweating even with the thermostat on 65 or less. We also feel like all the mattresses need replaced.
Thank you Buddy for taking the time to review our property. Your input, as well as all our guest feedback is vitally important as we want all guests expectations to be met upon arrival. We have check our descriptions of our cabin and do not see where it talks about having a jetted tub. It is not our practice to deceive, and we would be most curious where you saw this. Again, thank you for sharing. We hope you will stay with us again, giving us the opportunity to to exceed all expectations.
This was our first family vacation in over 10 years if not more. The entire family loved the cabin and the surrounding area (22-50 y.o)! We had a beautiful view and it was so peaceful and relaxing! Would recommend staying here to our friends and family.
Thank you Taylor for staying with us. We are glad you had a great vacation at Angels View.
good view, but other problems
the cabin was clean, and the view was nice. the upper sleeping area was full.of wasps, and the beautiful indoor jaccuzi tub only filled at a small trickle, and did not get hot. the cabin will sleep 10 with fold out beds but there are no blinds or curtains in those areas, so sleep became a challenge. in the lower level shower/tub the shower did not work and the tub did not hold water. the outdoor hot tub took a day and a half to heat, which was quite frustrating for my husband, as the only request he had for our accommodations was that there be a place for him to soak. it was also greenish and smelled. the bedding was all clean, but the blankets were super super thin. the kitchen was well equppied.
Thank you Angeline for taking the time to share your review. Your input, as well as all our guest feedback is vitally important as we want all guests expectations to be met upon arrival. We apologies for falling short in some areas. We do have a 24/7 on call service department, and if we would have know about any issues, we would have been happy to take care of them during your stay. Again, thank you for sharing and we look forward to having you stay with us on your next trip to the Smokies, giving us the opportunity to exceed all expectations.
Great views in a decent cabin...served its purpose
Stayed here for 6 nights. There were 5 of us and it was great...each couple had a room and bathroom and patio. Cabin had amazing views especially the 2nd and 3rd floor balconies. Only complaints: housekeeping could have cleaned the place a little better before arrival, and also change out light bulbs that were burnt out. There was also a broken blind and broken lamp shade. The shower curtains up and downstairs were moldy. Carpet could have used a good deep cleaning. Tried contacting the company to let them know about the complaints but the emails didn't go thru after the first 3 days...I had to contact them again. Unfortunately it was difficult to get a hold of someone since this was booked thru VRBO but was listed under Cabin Fever Vacations and Jackson Mountain Homes so it was difficult to figure out who to contact.
Cabin High Times
Upon arrival the beds were not made. Other than the beds not being made the cabin was very clean and everything else was as very nice. A mother bear and her 2 cubs came for a visit twice a day which was a treat for the grandkids. We love going to the Great Smokey Mountains and will go again in the near future.
Thank you Denise for staying with us. You have our sincere apologies that the beds were not made upon arrival. Again, thank you for sharing and we look forward to having you stay with us on your next trip to the Smokies, giving us the opportunity to exceed all expectations.
