Overview

About the property

3 Bedrooms, 3.5 Baths, Sleeps 12

The mountain view isn’t the only thing majestic about A Majestic View III. The 3-floor log lodge, which sleeps 12, boasts numerous exceptional features, from a private sauna to jetted tubs in all 3 en-suite bathrooms.

Because all 3 bedrooms are master suites, A Majestic View III is ideal for several couples or families vacationing together. Each spacious bedroom includes a king-size bed, a TV, generous storage, and a bathroom that includes its own jetted tub, perfect for soothing tired muscles after a day of hiking, horseback riding, or rafting.

Another treat for sore muscles—and the rest of your body—is a session in the sauna. Of course, you can pamper yourself in the jetted tub or the sauna even if you haven’t done anything more strenuous than admire the mountains from the deck. A soak or a sauna session is so relaxing—and isn’t that what a vacation is all about?

The loft hosts a 4th king-size bed, as well as a seating area and a desk, should you need to catch up on work during your stay. (Don’t worry, A Majestic View III has free WiFi.) In addition, a pair of sofas open into beds for 2.

The great room makes up much of the main floor. A double-height wall of windows lets you gaze out at the Great Smoky Mountains while you stretch out on the roll-arm sofa to watch TV or nestle in one of the roomy armchairs with a book. The wood-planked walls, floor, and vaulted ceiling are especially lustrous in the sunshine or when burnished by the glow of the stone-surround gas fireplace.

The great room’s dining area comfortably seats 11 people: 8 at the eye-catching log-style table and another 3 at the adjacent breakfast bar. Another option is to dine at the picnic table on one of the home’s 2 rear decks; the crisp breeze and the sight of the falcons soaring over the mountains will transform any meal into a feast.

Likewise, you can cook outdoors, at the gas grill, or indoors. A Majestic View III’s open, roomy kitchen encourages friends and family to pitch in. You’ll find all the appliances, cookware, gadgets, and tableware you could possibly need, and enough elbow room and counter space to prepare even the most elaborate dishes.

With both a pool table and an air-hockey table, the downstairs game room is sure to be a popular hangout spot for kids and adults alike. And you don’t have to be playing a game to enjoy relaxing down there. You can warm up by the gas fireplace, chill out on the sectional sofa beneath the gentle breeze of the ceiling fan, or belly up to the room’s wet bar.

If you think the interior of A Majestic View III is special (and it is!), wait until you step outside onto the decks. You can relish the spectacular views from the deck rocking chairs, the charming bar area, or most sumptuous of all, the roomy hot tub. As rejuvenating as a soak is during the day, it’s even more magical at night, as whip-poor-wills sing and crickets chirp beneath the canopy of stars.

As you relish the beauty and serenity of the surroundings, you’ll feel miles away from the hustle and bustle of the everyday. Yet A Majestic View III is surprisingly close to numerous area attractions. The Great Smoky Mountains National Park is only a 10-minute drive, as is Cowboy Tubin’, where you can drift along the Little River; Laurel Valley Golf Course is less than 20 minutes away. And Pigeon Forge Parkway, home to the Titanic Museum, the Tanger outlet mall, go karting, dinner theaters, mini golf, amusement parks, and more, is just a half-hour drive.

Then again, once you fall under the spell of A Majestic View III, you might not ever want to leave. See for yourself; book your stay today.

The property exceeded all my expections.

  • 5 of 5

First, the property was easily reachable, paved roads and parking. The interior was spacious ( there were 11 of us) even when we had 10 guests for dinner. The bedrooms and baths were like those of a fine hotel. The lower floor game room was enjoyed by all ages. The view from the upper deck looked out over 15 miles of Smokie Mountains. The privacy and quiet added to the experience. I would definately return for another stay, and reccomend the property to anyone.

Great find, perfect for our group

  • 5 of 5

Great house with plenty to accommodate all. We stayed with a 77 year old, limited mobility but could manage stairs and deck and 3 kids (10/7/5) with plenty for them to do when it snowed in Mid April.

A bit warm on top level that cooled off after a few hours with fans, windows and AC.

Mildly steep drive with few turns up to house, not an issue in a minivan when put in Low gear; people afraid of heights (our 77 yo mother) could be a little nervous driving up but it's paved, wide and easy.

Only stayed for 4 days but would definitely be a great spot for a week or even longer.

Owner's Response: Pranaykumar, thank you for taking the time to review our property. Your input, as well as all our guest feedback is vitally important as we want all guests expectations to be met upon arrival. During a post stay follow up call to you is when we were told there were bed bugs in the window sill. We are very proactive in bed bug treatment and all properties are treated on a monthly basis. Pest control was sent to immediately to inspect the property for bed bugs. Pest control confirmed this property free of bed bugs and found only three lady bugs in the window sill.

Stay Away from Home Away

  • 1 of 5

Nice cabin but terrible companies to do business with. Home away quoted one price and charged a higher price (40%) when I reserved it. After hours on the phone with overseas call centers, home office in austin tx, and the compay that really manages the property - vacationrental pros I paid the higher price. They blamed each other for the mix up but neither would adjust the price to what I was quoted. I even sent them a copy of their own quote - didn't matter! Had trouble getting into the cabin because the code didn't work, very difficult to get support due to a very unorganized office I had to call. Of the two compaines home away was the absolute worst - RUN!!!

Beautiful property and stunning views.

  • 4 of 5

We loved this property. We had a party of 6, which gave us plenty of space around the house. The views from this property are amazing which is what we loved more than anything. Only a few issues that I would mention. We stayed in mid July and the upstairs was very hot despite the AC running non stop. It got into the 90's during the afternoon and never dropped below the mid 80's in the evening. It made it uncomfortable to sleep upstairs in the loft or the bedroom. With only 6 of us, we had plenty of space to sleep in the downstairs bedroom and on the sofas. The only other problem we had was the WiFi. It couldn't connect more than a few devices and was very slow. My wife and I have 4 teenagers so that was an issue streaming shows and downloading. The house is beautiful, the views are amazing, our stay was great!
