Ocean Beach Loungin' #1 is just steps to the beach (and the iconic Dog Beach) and blocks away from the Ocean Beach Bike Path and Simley Lagoon. Ocean Beach is a half mile away, and major downtown San Diego attractions like Sea World are all within 10 miles!

The condo is bright and airy with great natural lighting. Entertain guests with cable TV, or stream your favorite devices with WiFi.

Beyond the living room is a well-stocked kitchen with added appliances like a dishwasher and garbage disposal. Serve tacos alongside pitchers of lemonade and margaritas on the breakfast bar with seating for two, or take the party outdoors!

Your balcony overlooks a palm tree-lined strip with glimpses of the ocean. The space boasts all your entertaining essentials, including a bistro table and gas grill! The balcony is shared with the adjoining unit but has a privacy screen between the two for added privacy for all guests. Grab a quick burger before heading back to the beach, or toast to the sunset for romantic evenings. Outside, your cozy hideaway is a fully enclosed yard perfect for pets! Two dogs (25 pounds or less) are welcome with an additional nightly pet fee.

The main level of this unit even offers a washer and dryer so you can keep beach towels and outdoor clothes fresh! With one full bath, one half bath, and three bedrooms, the condo comfortably sleep eight guests (six adults).

The main level has two bedrooms. One features a bunk bed with a double mattress on the bottom and twin on top, and the second features a queen bed. Upstairs on the third floor is the master bedroom with a king bed and a twin futon and in the living room you will find a bean bag that converts into a full size bed which allows for flexible sleeping arrangements.

Large groups can rent the other half of this duplex Ocean Beach Loungin' #2! The second unit offers one full bath, one half bath, and two bedrooms to sleep six guests (five adults) and three more dogs. Altogether, the home can comfortably lodge 14 guests (11 adults) and four dogs for the perfect summer holiday!

There is parking for 1 car, however it is a tandem driveway that is shared with the adjacent townhouse.

The sand and the surf will always draw you outdoors. Spend afternoons riding bikes, building sandcastles, or catching up with a good book. The unit includes fun accessories including beach chairs and beach towels! The Pacific Ocean is a hot spot for water sports like kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding, and Ocean Beach offers fantastic equipment rentals and tour guides.

Due to the moderate coastal climate, this house (like most in the area) does not have air conditioning.

This home is not equipped with Forced Air or Heat. You will be provided space heaters in the winter and fans in the summer.

This home is a townhouse. There is a common wall that is shared. We ask our guests to please respect the neighbors, including those in surrounding homes. Our rental agreement includes a no tolerance policy regarding excessive noise, occupancy and/or parties. Deposit forfeitures and/or evictions are strictly enforced.

For homes that allow pets there are certain rules that always apply. Pets are never to be left alone in the homes unattended. If you plan to spend time away from your pet please find a doggy daycare. You can call our office for recommendations. Pet Fee: $40/Night

Ocean Beach lies in the San Diego International Airport flight path for some departing flights. No planes can depart after 11:30 pm or before 6:30 am.

Dog Beach Heaven

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - such easy access to the beach, coffee cafes and restaurants. Birding was a delight and the dogs were in heaven every time we headed out the door! Would definitely recommend this property.

You can see the ocean from the kitchen/patio. A great place to bring your fur baby because there is a fenced in yard. Perfect walk to dog beach. And coffee shops close by. Will definitely be staying here again🖤

So close to dog beach. Enjoyed the property. 3 levels do not good for little kids. Nice fenced yard. Not a lot of things like trash bags. Also dish washer leaked and the frog door handle broken. Otherwise angst property.

Dirty rusty and ants all over

So checking in was easy the area we loved but the first bed room when you walk in was soils with dog pee the bed was wet. It was really hot fans did not work. Mold in shower ants all over 2nd floor we went and bought food came back and ants were all in the food we had to toss it out and buy bug spray. Then I tried to get ahold of the person in charge they did not contact me till next day the outside door was broken and falling off the house smelled musty it we got candles to take care of that. Other then that I think it was okay not for the price I paid tho maybe it should be cheaper or the should renovate the home. Ps bum outside screaming he was okay not so bad he didn’t bother anyone

Personally I really enjoyed this place. However, a note to those unable to do stairs, not the best choice/ 3 levels. Loved being walking distance to beach & the fact it's 🐕 dog friendly.

Location Location Location

Great location, very close to the dog beach. Within walking distance to restaurants and coffee shops. Except for being on the SD airport flight path, the area wasn’t noisy. Only one full bath was a little inconvenient. I would not recommend this home for seniors or very small children, as the stairs were very steep. No avoiding them with two bedrooms on the ground floor, the kitchen/living area on the middle floor and the 3rd bedroom on the 3rd floor. We had a great stay though and absolutely loved the area.

Great location but some things to think about

This house is in a wonderful location just steps from the ocean. However, there are numerous items that require TLC in this place and it really needs a good clean. We found numerous cigarette butts (a danger to pets) on the lawn as well as lots of litter. Inside, corners, baseboards, etc. were all visibly dirty. The carpet on the stairs to the second floor is very dirty and the floors felt slightly sticky. Also, and while this didn't affect us, there are missing slats in the upper bunk in the front ground floor bedroom. In the bottom bunk, there is a rather uncomfortable spring right in the middle of the mattress. Please note that the online photos need updating. The master bedroom does not have its own bathroom as represented online in the app. That meant going down the stairs (tiled and no railing) in the middle of the night, which was not fun. There is no working fireplace device (seen in some photos). There is also a futon rather than a beanbag bed in the master bedroom, which we thought was an improvement, but if you are thinking of moving the beanbag to a different bedroom, you can’t. All that said, it is a wonderful location and we had a really nice time. It’s super close to the dog beach in a cute neighborhood and there are tons of places to eat.

This property has not been updated in years. Unsafe steps with no handrail to the third floor, pealing paint, missing slat in the bunk bed, toilet paper holder fell off wall, bbq falling apart and does not have a drip tray under it to catch any juices or grease, shower handle has no markings and is very hard to figure out. For the amount I paid to rent this place I felt the owner is pocketing a lot of money and not putting any into the place for upkeep. Will never stay there again. Pictures are deceiving so renters beware!

Not a very clean property.

The bonuses for this property is that it is across the street from the Dog Park and within walking distance of Ocean Beach. The property itself did not look like the pictures. It really does need updating. The couches had hair within the cushions. There was mold and rust in the bathrooms and the washer. The dryer quit working on us. They did come to get our clothes and took them washed and dried them and returned them. The cabinets are greasy and it could use some painting. Also, the bunk bed was missing boards on the top level so it would sink down on the person on the bottom. I just feel that if you have property and rent it out, even though it is older you can do some inexpensive upkeep to the property. I will not recommend this property.

We had a great time. The place was very clean and well stocked.

Love that it was less than a 5 minute walk to the beach. Everything was within walking distance. The communication was great via emails regarding expectations. I would definitely rent it again.

The house was just as described in a prime location. The teens could walk to shops or the beach. The welcome basket was a great extra. Everything we needed was provided. The only downside was ants in the kitchen. Had to keep food on top of the fridge.

Perfect spot for families with dogs

Plenty of space and a great location. 5 minute walk to the water. The neighborhood is full of dog lovers, so perfect for us. Shopping near by.

Needs a deep cleaning

It’s clear there was some kind of turnover before we arrived... However the place overall needs to be deep cleaned. There were smudges, fingerprints, dirty and hairy fans, ripped valance, hair in the bath tub, stained bean bag etc etc etc. We appreciated the gift basket, animal shaped towels, extra beach gear and how close it was to the beach. Had we not found small stains on almost all the bedding I would’ve cleaned myself and not have gone to a hotel the first night. Such a huge bummer.

Perfect location for the OB experience

Loved the location and that we could fit all 8 of us in one spot. Great Views and the ability to keep up on laundry on a beach vacation was a huge asset. Parking was easy (huge plus in OB) it was clean and neat and stocked with what one would need. Even the dog was happy. We are OB regulars and everyone agreed we will use this VRBO again! We had a happy Thanksgiving!

Good location but condo needs some updates

Steps steps and more steps, get ready to get your steps in with all the stairs to and from the living room. Best thing about the condo is location, you can easily walk to the beach and you get a great view of the fireworks off the pier from the balcony. On the contrary here are a list of things that would help make the place more user friendly 1. A hand rail on the steps leading to the 3rd floor bedroom, I’m surprised you aren’t worried about lawsuits 2. A living room table 3. A working shower, 4 hours of our 4th of July was spent on repairing the one shower in the unit. 4. Mount the TV to the wall, again you are waiting for a lawsuit. 5. Fix the lock on the door. All in all my family had a good week together but we did have to do some work arounds to make the unit functional.
