Rest, relax and refresh at our newly renovated home located at 920 East Ashley (AKA “Sandy Bottoms”), where you can "get away from it all" and take everyone with you!

This is a spacious vacation home, which is a rare find at Folly. You can have the best of both worlds! This home offers ample space to accommodate large gatherings but is cozy enough for those who wish to capture some quiet time.

Our vacation home is only 200 steps to the beach and 9 short blocks to Center street.

Whether you prefer relaxing at the beach, surfing at "The Washout" (which is just five blocks away), or are drawn to the hustle and bustle of Center Street, at days end, you can retire to the peace and tranquility of your vacation oasis. Our home has a generously sized great room with a large flat-screen SMART TV, 5 ample sized bedrooms with new queen-sized memory foam mattresses with all new fresh bedding. Our home also has 4 full bathrooms.

Our lower level is a dedicated 1300 SQF game room, 50 inch SMART TV, Poker table, Ping pong table, Air hockey, Foosball and a Kitchenette with the 4th full bathroom on this floor.

If the weather doesn’t cooperate….no worries…you’ll still have fun hanging out on our updated, 700-square foot, fan cooled veranda. Enjoy your morning cup of coffee or evening glass of wine on one of the two wooden decks that overlook a beautifully landscaped yard. On-site parking areas provide convenient parking for at least 5 vehicles.

Upon booking, the individual that books the property will be asked to provide a copy
of their driver's license, as well as, the first and last names, and ages of ALL guests
staying in our home during the rental period.

Summer rentals are Saturday to Saturday only!

June 1 - November 30 is Hurricane Season. We do not offer weather related refunds.
If a state mandated evacuation of Folly Beach is ordered by the State of South
Carolina, we will be happy to reschedule your vacation.

Great location, just a couple of hundred feet from the beach.

This place is not fancy, but is fantastically located near the 10th East beach entrance and has 5 bedrooms that can fit a lot of people--perfect for our family reunion.

Note: the Keurig stopped working and the Mr. Coffee had one overflow issue, one of the kitchen trash cans needs to be replaced, foot pedal dose not work and the leather recliner next to the suede one would not close back up until we manipulated it. Thanks you, we had a Great stay.

This was a wonderful place to stay for our large group of friends on Folly Beach. Close to the water, walking distance to downtown, and a nice clean and organized space. Family time

Our family came to Charleston for a wedding. We loved the location! It was close enough to restaurants to ride bikes and we didn’t have to deal with the crowds. The house was just a short walk to the beach and there also were not as many people there. The house worked great for the amount of people we had.

A Week At Sandy Bottoms

Our family gathered at Sandy Bottoms on Folly Beach the week of 4/13 - 4/20. The home is in the perfect location. Situated two rows off the beach, it’s mere steps from the beach. The home is located far enough from the center of town that it is quiet and not congested, but it’s close enough to the shops and restaurants. My entire family had great fun, and we’re grateful for being able to stay there.

When we first vacationed in Folly Beach, we fell in love. We are a part of a large family from Michigan and this has been a dream of ours to own a vacation home on this beautiful island. We put a great deal of TLC into renovating this home so families can have a place to gather, slow down and reconnect.
Our family would personally like to invite you to share our home and fall in love with Folly Beach the way we did many years ago.

This property gives you all that you need; plenty of space to stretch out in the house and a .25 acre lot. We love the tranquility of the property, but are close to the hustle and bustle of the beach town atmosphere.
You are only 200 steps to the beach and 9 blocks to Center Street, where you can eat, shop and visit the acclaimed Bert's Market! (Open 24/7/365)
