Aikane is Hawaiian for 'friendly' which best describes our delightful beach house. Ocean proximity gives you the convenience of a short walk to a variety of beaches. Walk past 2 homes to the ocean then along the coast past 3 more to reach the first of several beaches, body surfing, snorkeling lagoon and grassy play areas.

Cool and comfortable, I designed our home to harness cross ventilation from the cooling trade winds. Ceiling fans, quiet split-system ductless A/C and covered parking at your front door are especially nice on the warmest Hawaiian days.

Our home was extensively renovated including new windows, quiet split-system A/C units, thermal reflective roof, solar and more. This really is a cool place to stay.

Travel Light. Aikane is equipped with lots of beach stuff (beach chairs, coolers, sand toys, etc.). We recommend guests bring their own masks, snorkels, fins and life jackets, if desired, to ensure proper fit.

We also provide WiFi, 50 and 40 inch Roku/Smart TVs, drip coffee maker, full sets of bath and also beach towels, washer/dryer with detergent, and lots more.

Bedroom 1: king size bed with ensuite full bath and walk-in double shower.

Bedroom 2: 1 king bed OR convert to 2 twins upon request.

Bedroom 3: 1 king bed OR convert to 2 twins upon request.

For king beds, the twins are secured together with a special horizontal strap and center piece covered with a king size topper and quality bedding. They are very comfortable as confirmed by our many returning guests. We'll have everything set to your preference before arrival.

The 6 person maximum counts the youngest to oldest. We have bedding for 6 guests. No sofa sleepers or futons. Please read through the policies to be sure this is a good fit before booking.
