Questo cottage in stile piantagione hawaiana progettato su misura si trova appena fuori dalla spiaggia di Brennecke del Poipu Beach Park, a 100 passi dalla spiaggia!

Questa spaziosa casa è stata progettata e costruita nel 2013 per essere il perfetto rifugio per le vacanze - il suo stile di piantagione le consente di fondersi con il quartiere storico, offrendo allo stesso tempo ogni lusso moderno. All'esterno c'è una zona barbecue per grigliate, una doccia da giardino accessibile dal bagno principale o dall'esterno, e sotto il Plumeria Tree c'è una vasca idromassaggio termale per 5 persone. Godetevi le 2 master suite con lussuosi letti king size, TV a schermo piatto, vasca con piedistallo e doccia esterna da giardino, lavatrice e asciugatrice a pieno carico frontale. La grande sala a pianta aperta si apre sul grande lanai con 22 piedi di 8 'porte a soffietto alte, e le pareti alte 9 1/2 piedi, i soffitti a volta, le grandi finestre a doppia sospensione e i ventilatori a soffitto mantengono il posto ventilato e fresco. La cucina è dotata di un frigorifero francese di dimensioni standard, lavastoviglie silenziosa, fornello a gas, dispensa walk-in, banconi in granito, scaffalature aperte e completamente rifornito (ha anche una stampa francese!). Il sistema audio attraverso la zona giorno e il lanai sono predisposti per guardare la TV audio surround, ascoltare Pandora o ascoltare in modalità wireless la tua raccolta musicale dal tuo smartphone. This property was amazing. From the location and proximity to Poipu Beach, to the design and amenities, we couldn’t have found a better place to stay during our trip to to Kauai.Besides the beach that lay just steps away from the house, the covered porch tended to be the place where we spent the most time. With the accordion doors open, and the ocean breeze, it was a perfect place to relax and enjoy our getaway.

Beautiful home and location

Our stay at the beach cottage was wonderful. The home is beautiful, thoughtfully furnished and is so close to the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor space, the air conditioned bedrooms and the outdoor shower. There are enough boogie boards for the whole family, which we used daily at the beach. We would absolutely stay here again if we come back to Kauai.

Karen and Brent’s cottage was absolutely perfect. From the moment we arrived, we were so impressed with the attention to detail and how beautifully done everything was. The space was spotless, stylish, and incredibly comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed for cooking, and they had all the essentials for enjoying the beach.Go to Kalapaki Joe’s for happy hour—great deals, delicious food, and excellent drinks. We loved watching the turtles come up on the beach at night—such a special experience.This was truly one of the best rentals we’ve ever stayed in. Huge thanks to Karen and Brent for sharing this beautiful space with us. We can’t recommend it highly enough and would return in a heartbeat!

This is the most perfect beach cottage. Stocked with absolutely everything you could possibly need. The walk to the beach is so easy. Spending evenings on the lanai listening to music and playing games was a highlight. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Wouldn’t change a thing!

If you’re staying in Kauai, you can’t beat this home and its location. It’s a beautiful home. The walk to the beach is less than 2 minutes, max. All beach supplies (boogie boards, chairs, wagon to transport) are provided.The deck is large and perfect for dining. Hot tub, outdoor shower, amenities . We did walk to the clubhouse (15 minutes or so) to use the pool, work out club and restaurant (reasonably priced in comparison to some surrounding establishments) a few times. Would highly recommend!

Great house to explore Kauai from!

The house is in a great location on the south side of the island - just a few steps away from Brenneke's Beach & Poipu Beach. Was perfect for my husband and our teen daughters. Used the gas grill and beach gear. Unfortunately the hot tub wasn't working during our stay - a main reason why we booked this house. But, the owner tried to get it fixed as soon as he was made aware of the situation, but wasn't able to get the parts in time, so he did refund us 1 night stay - which helped make the situation better. Definitely would recommend to anyone traveling to Kauai. A great place to explore and relax from.

No air conditioning for living room & kitchen.

We stayed 6 nights in early May. In the afternoon and early evenings the west facing porch is stiflingly hot and humid. It was very pleasant in the morning and late evenings with a nice coastal breeze. The nearby beach is quite nice. After a day on the local beaches it would have been nice to come home to a cool house for dinner and relaxation. The living room and kitchen were oppressively hot and humid. Mowers and leaf blowers roared 2 of the 6 afternoons. Thank goodness there were wall mounted air conditioners in the bedrooms. We ate our dinner in the bedrooms for relief from the heat. This review is not all bad. The house was nicely equipped and clean with an outdoor shower to shake the sand.

Great location and Great Place

We stayed at this property 2 yrs ago and just loved it. The layout is great, location is fantastic and it is very nicely appointed. Has a great lanai and amenities of beach chairs etc.and a hot tub.

Aloha! Brent, originally from Oregon, and I (Karen) originally from Ohio, both moved to Kauai in the early 1980's (when we were too young to know any better) met, fell in love, got married, and have been here ever since. With my design background and Brent being a general contractor, we began Olson Homes Inc. which is a design/build firm specializing in custom homes here on the south side. We live in Kalaheo, but ever since I came here and fell in love with Kauai, I dreamed of having a little place in Poipu, near the beach. I never thought it would happen, but this property kind of fell in our laps and my dream came true! And we set out to build our perfect beach cottage. We named it Ke'ola, 'the life', because we feel it represents the amazing quality of life that Kauai has to offer. Karen is a plein air (outdoor) painter, and you can see her work at www.kauaipainter.com.
