Beachfront house with walls of windows. Just steps to the water. No condos or high rises in the area. Enjoy sunrises, sunsets and dolphin watching from the large composite deck with no splinters for little feet or from the private balcony off of master bedroom. Open living room, dining room, and kitchen have views of the beach. There are 3 bedrooms each with King beds and private bath and TV, and one additional bed room with 2 double beds and a full size pull out couch in living area.

Great house, just as described…

The house is beautiful, updated and very clean. We had 3 couples, 3 kids, and two dogs and everyone had plenty of room for all. We sat out on the very large deck everyday and enjoyed the beautiful sunsets.

Amazing views, great house that is very private. Beach was also nice with few people. The large windows made you feel like you were on the beach from the living room of the house. Definitely recommend and plan on staying again.

4th of July Beach Week

We loved the beach house and it was easy access to the beach from the house. The neighbors put on quite a fireworks display and seeing The Blue Angels just topped off the week. Perfect weather and the house had everything we needed for a relaxing week at the beach.

Little slice of paradise…

This house was great! Clean, had lots of room for our entire family and the view was amazing! You could see dolphins from the balcony in the mornings. Fort Morgan area is so peaceful and it’s like you had your own private section of the beach. Would highly recommend this one! Parasailing and fishing at fort Morgan marina are only 5-10 mins away!

Repeat clients! We love it here. The large porch and sunsets are amazing. On the beach so allows for littles to nap easily. Great boardwalk. Spacious, clean and plenty of kitchen utensils! Nice bed linens and mattresses. Feels like home away from home. Thanks Sam & Liz!

Peaceful and Private

This beach house was very private and clean with plenty of space for our party of 6 adults and 1 child. This house has everything you could possibly need and want in a beach house property. We cooked most of our meals in the house only eating out once for dinner during our Monday-Saturday stay. The direct access to the beach was so convenient and the nice shallow water was perfect for swimming and wading. We saw DOLPHINS swim by in the wild DAILY which was so cool! We had lots of luck fishing from the shore. It was really cool taking flashlights out at night to see all the cool crabs on the beach. There really isn’t anything negative I can say about this house. I will definitely “favorite” this property for a return visit. Thank you Sam and Liz for sharing your awesome house with us!

Best Host/hostess EVER!!!

This home will definitely be revisited!! Our family needed some time together after trials and troubles that only sand and surf can heal. We have come to the Gulf Shores/Fort Morgan area many, many times for over forty years and this property is one of the best. The owners were accessible and answered all our questions promptly before we traveled. We initially planned for ten of us to travel but our 13, 14, and 16 year old grandchildren also went which was within the occupancy suggestions. There was plenty of room for all of us using the fold-out sofa which was very comfortable. The kitchen lacked nothing; the thermostat was perfect. Having an extra refrigerator was a plus. Though far down the fort road, there was nearby access to gas and groceries that kept runs to Rouses at a minimum. LIke Arnold..."We'll be back!"

Lovely spring break

Our family has vacationed in the Gulf Shores area regularly for about 23 years and always loves staying in the less-populated Fort Morgan area’s beach houses. Wave Watch was a lovely, well-equipped home with plenty of comfy living room seating, ocean front windows, a convenient bar countertop with stools, master bedroom balcony, jacuzzi tub and small wind-blocking alcove on the deck for sunning on cooler, windy days. Also loved the well-stocked beach toy/beach chairs room under the house and the extra frig there. Sam and Liz were so kind and solicitous and had a generous-sized bottle of champagne with glasses laid out awaiting our arrival! I’m giving a 4-star instead of 5-star review as some parts of the house could have been a little cleaner and parts of the walkway were due for replacing - a constant in the brutal salt air. Otherwise, a wonderful stay!

Filthy, Mold, Mildew, Urine, Dust, Grime, Pet Hair-Very disappointed in the cleanliness & Condition

The house had not been cleaned, we discovered trash and debris on floors and dust, dirt, and sand on surfaces. There was a beer can on the master bedroom floor along with candy wrappers and veggie straws. The master bedroom headboard had a thick layer of dust and hair on top of it. The sheets on the master bed had hair on them and did not appear to be clean. The lamp shades had heavy dust and cob webs across the top. Master bedroom bath floor was dirty, both bathroom pocket doors were covered in mold spores, the shower curtain had mold and mildew covering the inside of the curtain. There were random hairs on the shower walls and in the drain. The HVAC vent in the master bathroom had mold and mildew along with water dripping from it onto the floor. The upstairs HVAC unit did not work properly, with the thermostat set to 68 degrees the temperature would stay at 77-78 degrees. All the HVAC vents in the house had mold and mildew on them and the return vents were covered with thick dust and buildup, we could continuously smell the mold and mildew in the house. The master bathroom toilet had not been cleaned and had fecal tracks and human waste in it. A beer bottle and coke can was on back deck, used fireworks debris and trash was on the ground below deck. Firework debris was also on upper deck off of master bedroom. Trash and debris was on lower floor bedrooms and carpet was dirty and stained. In the Kitchen there was a human hairball on floor, floor was dirty and was not cleaned. Carpet was very stained and had strong odor of urine and pets in multiple locations throughout the house.. The secondary bedroom upstairs had multiple candy wrappers under bedspread, the HVAC vents were dirty, full of mold and mildew. The lower bedroom were not cleaned, dust was visible on surfaces and walls. The showers had hairs on the walls and hair buildup in the drains. The kitchen was dirty and not cleaned, the hood range vent had grease, dust, and hair buildup on the top of it. The oven was dirty with food spillage running down the door, there was a used food skewer on a shelf in the dinning room. The dining room wall had what appeared to be blood smeared on the wall. There were pet urine spots on the kitchen floor, floor had not been cleaned. The kitchen trashcan was covered in grime, grease, and pet hair. I did contact the homeowner immediately upon entering the property, called and left voice message and texted ph.# they provided , they did not return my calls.

Fantastic house!

Very clean and comfortable house. Outstanding, well equipped kitchen- there was a blender and hand mixer, I have never seen that at any beach house in all the years we have stayed at the beach. So many towels!!! It was so nice to have more than 1 towel per person. I didn't have to do laundry every single day. Comfortable beds and couch for being lazy on vacation. Check in was super simple and finding the house was easy with GPS. View from the dining room, living room and kitchen was awesome! Beach was very enjoyable and not too many people around. We brought our boat and launched at the Fort. It was easy to do and it was nice to see dolphins hunting a school of fish. We saw dolphins from our beach house and even a shark feeding right at dusk! There were a couple of days of jelly fish, but they were big and easy to see and avoid. There was also one day of lots of seaweed rolling in, but the rest of the time we had clear, blue water. Very pleased with the house, hope to be back soon!

Black mold

The house has black mold in the upstairs bathroom as well as around the air vent leading up to the upstairs bedrooms. We had several people in our party get sick. We found it in the stair well at the end of our trip.

Best beach house!!

This is our second time staying at Wave Watch and it was even better than the first time. The new floors and new living furniture are beautiful. We felt so “at home” there. The beach is right out the back door and the deck is perfect for relaxing in the evening. Saw the dolphins one day! The house was very clean and had plenty of towels and kitchen ware. Just a wonderful week there.

Lovely Beach House

This was a lovely beach house perfect for our family get-away. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking (better than most houses I've rented). The owners were friendly and happy to answer my questions. We loved the living room for hanging out on the couch and taking sun-breaks. Overall, a great experience!

Wave Watch Review

Excellent location with easy access to the beach. House was clean and had ample space for our large group. Although likely dependent on the time of year, the water was crystal clear and we greatly enjoyed swimming and observing the aquatic wildlife. We particularly appreciated that the location was removed from the summer crowds, but restaurants and other activities were still reasonably close. The only negative item was that the upstairs beds were too firm. Otherwise a wonderful experience.
