About the host

I teach children in Moscow (for 2 weeks per month), and travel the world in the other free weeks in my expedition vehicle ‘Icarus’. Look up ‘Land Rover Icarus’ to find out more. I also enjoy scuba diving, snowboarding/skiing, dancing, hiking and painting.
Why they chose this property
Adjacent to the town hall, the apartment can’t get any more central. It’s a stones throw away from shops, bars, restaurants and the River Ayr. The beach is a 5 minute walk away, and the Citadel leisure centre at the harbour side, is only a couple of minutes up the road. You can enjoy and experience all that Ayr has to offer with ease.
Furthermore, Mary Queen of Scots stayed in Loudoun Hall in 1563 – the building situated in an open courtyard, which the kitchen overlooks. It offer fabulous views of the sunsets over the Isle of Arran. The town hall is on show from the living room too. Depending on the time of year, the town hall hosts concerts, orchestra performances and other shows.
