This beautiful, newly renovated three-bedroom villa is one of the cypress and cedar-shingled Mariner’s Watch Villas (#4214) reminiscent of turn-of-the-century seaside cottages. Offering the closest villa location to the beach and ocean and featuring a private staircase leading from the rear deck directly onto the boardwalk—this is the quintessential coastal retreat.

This oceanfront villa features a spacious, open floor plan with breathtaking ocean views from the kitchen, living and dining area, and even the master suite. The great room showcases white, beamed ceilings, sprawling ocean views. and ship-lap walls. The fully appointed, sizable kitchen features everything a chef would need, ample counter space and a breakfast bar perfect for grabbing a bite before heading out to the water. Best of all, the kitchen is open to the Great Room, so the chef won't ever miss a part of the fun or conversation.

Bedding will include 2 king bedrooms and the third guest room with two twins along with a pull out sofa for an additional guest.

As our guest, you will have access to 5 Championship Golf Courses – including The Ocean Course – the location of the 2021 PGA Championship; The Kiawah Island Resort Tennis Center - #1 ranked by Tennis Resorts Online; Free Wireless Internet Access; Local Property Management staff is on hand in case of emergencies and their friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff can assist you with any needs throughout your stay. Additional housekeeping services are also available during your stay (mid-week clean or daily trash and tidy).

There is no grill available, nor is one allowed, due to Kiawah Island safety regulations imposed upon villas.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience but ask that the rules be followed to avoid fines or dismissal from the island

When you stay with ESPM for 3-21 nights you will receive a valuable credit of up to $280 (amount dependent on length of stay) to use toward beach gear, bikes, etc. Credit may not be available for last minute bookings, 48 hours notice is required.

Upon booking you will be sent a rental agreement to review and complete online. Your booking is not confirmed until this document has been submitted.

Great property in perfect location

Our family loved our stay … a great property, steps from the beach. Well maintained, nice layout and very comfortable. Location was perfect, not only because of proximity to beach but also quick walk to market, pool, basketball, trails, etc. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

Great Vacation home

Great location, clean and comfortable vacation home. Great access to the beach and nearby grocery stores and restaurants. My only gripe is I wish the rental company had been more forthcoming in telling me that there were indeed beach chairs and beach towels available in the home when I called to inquire. Instead they said I needed to rent them from the company they endorsed. They offered $280 credit to rent from them and if I knew I would have used the credit more efficiently.

This luxury unit has been updated and is very nicely decorated - a sheer pleasure to occupy. Dinner at The Fat Hen is our family tradition. Always a great visit to Charleston with dinner at Magnolia's - best shellfish and grits around. Bird watching while boating on Bohiket Creek is a delight. Great beach for walking or just hanging out.

We plan a family trip every Christmas to Kiawah. We love to stay in the Mariners Watch properties . Unfortunately this property is not well taken care of. There was a leak in the ceiling and the condo smelled of mold. The pots and pans were dirty. There were no hangers in closets . The towel racks in the bathroom fell off the wall in 2 bathrooms. We are very disappointed for the amount of money we spent. The location is great but the property needs some care.

I would highly recommend this property. My only complaint is they should trim the dunes behind the unit. They were higher then behind any other unit and in my opinion took away from it being a true ocean front. Your view of the ocean was completely blocked except for the side views. If you want full ocean view I’d rent upstairs or another unit. Other then that the property was perfect.

Pretty clean.Having stayed at many different condos and houses at Kiawah over the years:Negatives - main one is that you could hear people in the upstairs unit walking around and talking through the ceiling. More insulation between the two unit or a rug in the upstairs bedroom would help.The bathrooms / showers are very tight in space, especially the bedroom closest to the front door.The toilets are very low to the ground and it would be nice to replace them with comfort height toilets.The dishwashing machine needs to be looked at, the cycles took 4 hours to clean.

A few recommendations for a condo of this high quality - bedrooms had 2 pillows per bed. In the closet were 2 more pillows but no pillowcases. Few blankets to be found. Maybe stock the bathroom with more than 1 night supply of shampoo/lotion. Also, please include at least one night supply of coffee. Very clean condo and exactly as expected per description. We biked, even down to the Ocean Course for lunch. Walking on the packed, clean beach was a highlight. The tennis center was interesting. Although not busy, it seemed impossible to get a hard court so we played on clay twice. They will also need to add pickle ball courts somewhere. The main tennis center only has 4 and they are also hard to reserve. My biggest complaint is that I went to the Tennis Center asking for a court at 8:15 (I was there at 8 and they were open), there was NO ONE on the courts and they told me, "Yes, you can have a court at 8:30". What? I was trying to get on with my day and there was no reasonable explanation for not allowing us to start then and have an hour. Customer service not what I expect on Kiawah - obviously a Kiawah problem, not a rental issue.

Beutiful ocean front getaway

The ocean view was gorgeous, the kitchen was a dream to work in, and it was a nice touch to have the smart tv with streaming apps already loaded and available for us to use in the evenings. The only feedback for area of improvement would be to have better lighting in the bathrooms. The current lightbulbs are simply too dim, other than that, all was perfect.

Spectacular location, and the house is well designed to take advantage of the beach setting, Everything is very modern, up to date, and the master bedroom suite is terrific...especially the shower area. One very small nit: The TV could use some instructions in how to access the cable service. Otherwise it is a bit hard to find the right input. The cable guy came and fixed it so it is clear but you have to know how to use it. Otherwise it has all the streaming apps on it, and that is very useful. Overall, terrific.

Bathroom layout was nicely done...large open shower, private commode area. Kitchen area was large. Quiet dishwasher. Overall, a good condo for a couple or a small family. The only negative is the high dune behind the condo. This prevented an open view of the ocean directly behind the condo. The ocean is visible to the sides, but not directly behind. Great beach however. Easily accessible from the condo.

Picture Perfect

My sisters and Mother and I had an incredible long weekend in this beautiful villa. The location is perfect, with a 2 minute walk to the beach, and the home is comfortable and gorgeous. There isn't really a beach view from the back porch because of the dunes, but you can feel the breeze and hear the waves (and see the water from inside the home). The beds are comfortable and the home is decorated beautifully. We will definitely be back!

Amazing stay steps to gorgeous beach.

Best location by far in kiawah. Nothing beats oceanfront and this unit did not disappoint. Beautifully renovated with tasteful, quality furnishings. Sit in your balcony and feel the ocean breeze.
