Whether it's summer or winter the scenery is unparalleled and the home is greatly desired among locals and world travelers alike. Summer is Utah's best hidden secret. Come enjoy beautiful mountains, mountain biking, hiking, boating, river rafting, fly fishing and more. This home is located in the exclusive Colony neighborhood. The fire pit on the back deck sets the mood for amazing night time conversations while watching for wildlife.

During the winter you will enjoy the amazing direct ski access to Park City Mountain Resort. The purchase of PCMResort by Vail has combined two resorts to become the largest ski resort in the continental United States and this home is in the perfect place to enjoy easy access to all that PCMR has to offer while maintaining a feeling of seclusion. First tracks on hundreds of acres of terrain during classic Utah powder days is another feature of this property with its easy access to the Dreamscape, Daybreak and Tombstone lifts off the Backstreet run which takes you right to the back door for lunch, a dip in the hot tub or a relaxing break in the sauna. The homes ski access services a mix of beginner, intermediate and advanced terrain. Treat yourself to this majestic property and stay in one or all eight bedrooms. The home features 4 Luxury Master Suites, 2 additional King Suites, 1 Bunk Room and 1 Family Room with a king bed and two twins over the top.

Owner is available before and during your stay to provide information regarding local services. Recommendations for a local chef, restaurants and more are readily available. Additionally, you will enjoy a large ski room complete with glove and boot dryers, pool table, 7 flat screen TV's and an abundance of privacy. We try to provide the basics in the kitchen, spices and such so you can enjoy cooking in the amazing kitchen. We provide full size shampoo and conditioner and hair dryers in each of the 8 full baths. We had a fantastic time; the house is in immaculate condition and the location is second to none, half way up the Colony with very easy ski-in, ski-out access. In addition to 8 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms, the house also had a nicely equipped gymnasium, a fantastic ski-room, a outdoor but still covered hot tub from where you can see the ski slopes, a steam room and a movie theatre as well as a play-room with pool and other amenities. The host was very responsive as was the property manager so all in all a fantastic experience for our big family of 14 people.

Wonderful every year

Best ski trip ever

Everything was fabulous. The house, the views and the location were fantastic. We had 20 people, but the house accommodated all of us extremely well. We are definitely booking this house again next year. Truly amazing.

Paradise in the Mountains

I have rented many beautiful and incredible homes over many years - this property is by far the most outstanding of them all! From the minute we first walked in the house, the setting deep in The Colony towards the top of the Canyons makes for incredible views of the mountain. The house is stocked with every amenity possible, kitchen, supplies, everything you can imagine and then some. The owner & house manager couldn’t have been more hospitable and attentive. The ski in/out access was perfect for our family. It is truly a mountain paradise!

Great place

We just loved the whole experience. We were a total of 6 adults and 5 children (ages 8-15) who all went skiing and the house was perfect for that with easy ski-in, ski-out access to the trails and lifts. The Colony in the Canyons (Part of the Park City ski resort) is a great concept for everybody who loves skiing and the outdoors.

Family Trip

This house was amazing! We had family members ranging from 1 year old to 85 years old and there was something for everyone. The movie room, pool table, hot tub and kids "tree house/slide" were used the most. The host and property manager were extremely attentive and when I reached out with questions, I received an immediate response. Tim was at the property to greet us and even helped unload our car which was packed. I could not recommend this property enough especially for a family of all ages. I included a photo which was the highlight of our trip. This sweet mama and her babies were just standing in the backyard one morning. They wondered around eating for at least 30 minutes with an audience of 13 on the deck who were completely mesmerized! Can't recommend this property enough!

Go tell it on the mountains !

We stayed with 4 other families for Spring break and all 22 of us fit perfectly ! The house was incredible from the furnishings to the ski location to the amazing views . I cannot stress how clean it was and full of amenities too. I would definitely rent again. Worth every penny !

Outstanding ski vacation

We had 11 visitors and the ambiance and location was perfect. Walking out the back door and having the ski run within 50-100 ft was so convenient . The house is well appointed and all the master suites had beautiful beds, linens and massive bathrooms. It's was truly Ritz Carlton like. I will return for a visit yearly. The icing on the cake was the catering done by Dave at the Riverhorse in Park City. 5 star quality food

Excellent first time in Park City

We absolutely loved the house. The property manager is extremely friendly and helpful. The house has everything you could possibly need. Our group had such a great time using all the amenities together, and never feeling cramped. Unfortunately being early season skiing we couldn’t ski in and out as the slopes in the neighborhood weren’t open but it didn’t stop us from getting plenty of time on the mountain. We are looking forward to staying here in the future.

Cosy Family Reunion/Ski Trip

Our extended family of 14 spent a week at this property in December 2022. It was extremely comfortable for the group, with a nice set of bedrooms, each with its own bath. All of our meals were prepared and eaten at the house, which was easy given the nicely equipped kitchen and large family dining room table. We also enjoyed (and used) the outside hot tub and the many additional rooms, including the cosy great room (with fireplace), game room, home theatre, gym, sauna and ski room. We have done many similar family ski trips, and the group felt this was one of the top properties we have rented.

Wonderful house for large family

We had a great week at this property. Joe and Tim were very prompt and responsive with our questions and requests. The house is well maintained and has tasteful decor. Having four master bedroom suites was terrific! We are three families with adult children and grandchildren. There was plenty of space for everyone. The ski in and ski out was terrific. We enjoyed visiting Park City. Walmart delivers groceries to the house! We hope to return in the future!

Perfect ski in ski out

The house was perfect for our big family. Very spacious and comfortable. The ski in ski out is great for intermediate skiers. Kitchen is complete and you don’t need to buy seasonings. All bathrooms had shampoo/ soap/ conditioner, and body lotion. The views of the house are amazing and the great room was wonderful with a big Smart TV ( we ended up using very little), a big fireplace, very comfortable couches, big dining table that fit our 16 pp family. The owners are very receptive and super nice.

The Colony Mountain Home

Our stay was excellent and was very impressed with the attentiveness by not only the property manager but also the owner himself. The home is as nice as shown in the photos, which I feel is rare with vacation rentals, and was nicely appointed with everything you needed to drop your bags and start enjoying the stay. The home is about a ten minute drive up the hill from the base of the mountain and nestled in the trees for a very private setting with rear deck/patio views to the top of the mountain behind. We were a group of 15 split between 4 families and had more than enough room to accommodate everyone spaciously. Winter or summer, this is a great home to spend some time away.

The perfect mountain getaway! We will be back!

This place is so incredible. My goodness. We stayed here through the holidays with several families and our kids. The location is perfect - right next to the ski slopes and nestled into an amazing location on the top of the mountain. And this place has everything you would want - multiple spacious bedrooms, an awesome movie theater room (that the kids love), big hot tub, fun entertainment space with a pool table, and a massive living space where the whole group can gather. So easy to ski in and ski out, right off the back of the property; and there's a dryer for boots and gloves to keep things dry after you finish skiing. We loved it so much, we are considering coming back for Spring Break. Would highly recommend this home!

What a wonderful home!

This home was perfect for our extended family stay. It easily accommodated our children and grandchildren, fifteen in all. The children and grandchildren really enjoyed the ability to ski in and out. The owners of the home thought of everything. There were games, toys, a theatre room, pool table, and a hot tub. We never lacked of anything to do. The kitchen was beautifully appointed and had everything we needed to prepare and cook our meals. Both the owner and caretaker were always available to answer any questions we might have had. Also, our prearrival info pack was extremely helpful. We hope to stay in this home again.

Beautiful place at an unbelievable location

Hard to picture a more beautiful location. The home is located at the top of the Canyons resort and with massive windows throughout, has an incredible view of the top of the resort and the valley below. Rooms are nicely decorated and very cozy. We stayed here with a group of 18 and had a wonderful visit. The place is very spacious with lots of room to rest and relax - awesome that there were new flatscreens in every room and a pretty hi-tech media system that allows you to stream music in any area of the house. Hot tub outside offers pretty incredible views as well. We stayed here in the summer, but I can't imagine a better location for the winter. You could ski out right to the run about twenty feet away. We will for sure be coming back!

Fantastic home base for our extended family summer vacation

Beautiful location and the property was very clean and well furnished. It takes about 10 minutes to drive up to the house within the lovely neighborhood but that drive was well worth it for the very private house with surroundings that scream mountain vacation. The property likely gets used more during ski season but it was super for our summer event. The 4 master suites were perfect for our group and the family suite (not featured in the walk through or pictures when we selected the house) on the 1st floor was also excellent in addition to the other 3 rooms. We also loved that the house is huge but not so huge that your group is too secluded. The kitchen is very well appointed and we could cook and bake for our large group with ease. Joe and the PM, Tim, were very attentive to our few needs and overall we couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

50th birthday gathering

This house was a dream!! 6 couples got together to celebrate our 50th birthdays. This house is placed right on a Canyons ski slope. The fall Aspen leaves were amazing. We got a light snowfall that night and Joe ( the owner and manager) made sure we knew how to operate the fireplace and had someone come turn on the heated driveway feature for us. Since it was snowing, we made good use of the indoor gym, sauna and outdoor hot tub. Sitting in a nice heated hot tub with fall leaves and snowfall made for an ideal scene. Inside, the sound system, fully equipped gourmet kitchen, pool table and at least TEN washers and dryers made this place more than comfortable. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a dream vacation with a large group

Fabulous Mountain Vacation Home

We had a wonderful stay at this home in early July. Everything is as advertised in the property listing--the house is incredibly well equipped and well furnished. The location is perfect--high up on the mountain to get some peace and quiet, but still just a short drive to the Canyons Village and Park City as well as the Olympic Village and other activities like mountain biking and white water rafting. The owner Joe and property manager Tim were always available for questions and checked in to be sure we didn't need anything throughout the stay. I have to admit that I overlooked the lack of AC in the listing. We were staying in the home during a heatwave, so I was a little nervous. Lack of AC was a total non-issue. The house cools off during the night and even with outdoor temperatures of 90 F, remained comfortable throughout the day. We hope to come back!

The perfect ski vacation

The house is outstanding for entertaining and having a true home away from home. It is large enough (almost 10,000 sq ft) so you don't get cabin fever by being so close. To keep our group together, we had breakfast and dinner catered from Riverhorse in Park City. They did a spectacular job and the food was 5 stars. The advantage for us was the ability to ski in-ski without a hassle. Backstreet run is 50 yds outside the back door. The lines are short and its such a treat to be able to stop at lunch time and return to the house for a snack. The house is clearly the ultimate ski vacation. We loved it. We used skis on the run for our rental of snowboards and ski equipment. They are by far the best rental equipment I have seen in Colorado or Utah. The equipment was all nearly new and the personnel service is priceless. They show up at the front door at any time for fitting your equipment and returns. I highly recommend this service. Makes for a hassle free ski vacation.

This wonderful place deserves MORE than 5 stars!

This beautifully appointed, spacious and family-friendly home is rightly touted as a ski-in/out paradise, but it is also A Summer Place extraordinaire! Our family gathering included 23 of us-- 10 adults and 13 kids between 1 and 18. There are tons of things to do in the area and we did alot! But really, this home MADE our holiday! The listing description is 100% accurate--plenty of beds for all, including the 4 large, private, lovely King Suites. With uncrowded dining space for 22+ (more if you count seating on the nearby deck) and one well-supplied and amazing kitchen, we engaged two local chefs , Chef Otto and Chef Rebekah, who worked their spectacular magic for part of our stay and further spoiled us all. The game room, exercise room, hot tub and theater were all favorites and well-used. We loved sitting on the spacious deck with coffee in the early cool of morning, and sipping a nightcap there at sunset. The star-scatter-in-dark-sky was a highlight as well for us city folk! The owner and the house manager were both attentive, helpful and available-- we had no problems at all, only everyone's reluctance to leave! So read up on this wonderful home, watch the interactive video , and BOOK IT! You'll love it.... We sure did !

When you visit here you don’t just go on vacation, you feel like you are being welcomed by friends who do everything they can to make your visit exceptional. We booked here for a family holiday (18) with kids and families coming from both coasts. This amazing home is stunning with a large open feel, a brilliant view of the mountain with snowcapped tops, and beautiful furnishings that provide multiple comfortable areas for gathering. High up in the cannon this is a secluded section of Park City. The dining room table is set for 12 but we easily sat 16 for a grand celebratory birthday dinner. The kitchen is well stocked and provided all the kitchen tools we needed for all meals. There is a large comfortable breakfast area where we gathered for breakfast, light meals and conversations throughout the day as we caught up with each other’s lives. There is something for everyone here to be entertained; a hot tub, game room, media room, big exercise room and easy access to the outside ski trail for daily hikes right out your doors. Everything here is in pristine condition including thoughtful personal provisions. With eight bedrooms each with their own baths there is plenty of room to have some private time. Finally let me mention the multiple laundry rooms, all in working condition and spread through the property. They were helpful with 18. A perfect place to stay. Would love to come back. Meg

Fantastic Family Ski Trip

My family of 17 (8 adults & 9 kids ages 6-13) spent a week here skiing and enjoying all the luxuries of this VRBO house. The house was beyond our expectations - beautifully and comfortably decorated, private bedrooms & baths for everyone, entertainment amenities - pool table, a basketball toss arcade type game, movies theatre, games and tv's in every room. We also enjoyed the opportunity to sit in the hot tub or the steam room after a day on the slopes. Ski-in & out accessibility was a little difficult, but this was due to the fact that we had over 24 inches of snow during the week! Otherwise it would have been an easy ski in & out to the trail. Especially nice was the availability of general house whole necessities - all kinds of spices and condiments, cleaning supplies, shampoos & soaps, etc. The kitchen was 'fully' equipped with every kind of cooking accessory you might need. I can't say enough good things about our hosts, Joe and Tim, the property manager. They were both easy to communicate with and responded quickly to inquiries. Tim met us at the property and showed us how everything worked. As mentioned we had a massive snow fall and Joe made sure to check that all was good at the house and with us. Tim came over again to go over the operation of the big screenTV's again (we are GEORGIA fans and watching the GA vs Ohio State game was a priority!!) Highly recommend this house if you're looking for an accommodation for a large family or group and a host and property manager that are excellent and always available. .

The Mid Mountain Trail accessible from the Colony offers hiking and mountain biking from Canyons Village to Deer Valley, over 17 miles.
