First, the property is accurately described in the listing as a duplex, not a standalone single-family home. The description clearly notes this so guests know what to expect before booking. While each side is completely separate with its own private entrance, we understand that neighboring guests can occasionally impact the experience, and we’re sorry to hear that happened during your stay. Regarding the air conditioning, the thermostat is located upstairs, but the system is functioning properly. South Florida summers can be extremely hot and humid, and we recommend keeping doors and windows closed and setting the thermostat to a consistent temperature for the best performance. The pool is not heated during the summer months. With outdoor temperatures often in the 90s, the water can naturally become quite warm despite the heater being off. We did respond promptly when the pool pump unexpectedly stopped working and had it addressed as quickly as possible. We appreciate your comments about the cookware, stove markings, storage space, and outdoor furniture. We continually update the property and will review these items to see where improvements can be made. As for supplies, we provide a starter set of essentials to help guests get settled. For longer stays, additional items such as paper towels, detergent, and dishwasher pods are typically the responsibility of the guest, as outlined in our rental information.
