Guestbook comments from the owner

Another beautiful fun week at High

Lake Hideaway! Our family had

such a great time. Our oldest

grandsons are so into fishing

this year that they just fished

non-stop in the fishing boat.

Plus, the trampoline was Never

sitting idle-the kids were back

and forth all week. Cool weather?

No one noticed. We really

Enjoy the pontoon, too.

We would like to speak for the same

week next year, too.

Thanks, again for making our week

special.

What a wonderful home and setting. The house is beautiful with everything that we could need! The lake is so beautiful and peaceful. We all were so happy that we stayed here and will be making it our annual vacation spot. All the nice personal touches were greatly appreciated. The homeowner's are wonderful and made every effort possible to accommodate everyone. Thank you so much Kurt & Tammy, we will be back!

Great place for a ladies getaway.

  • 4 of 5

We had 5 generations of women for our stay, 11 total people. This place had room for us all to come together for meals. Plus plenty of bathrooms! Short drive to area attractions.

Worst experience ever!!!!

  • 1 of 5

Carpet in house was stained and had a burn by the fireplace when we arrived and owner then tried to blame us for it and has kept our security deposit. Will never rent from this owner again and others should be cautious as well, if you find damage call owner right away. We learned this the hard way!!!

Owner's Response: We have been in the vacation rental business for 12 years and have never had less than a 4 star review. We work very hard to make sure you have a great stay. We take pride in our standard of cleanliness. Prior to this guests arrival we had the carpets professionally cleaned. After the guests departure we found numerous stains in a 5'x3' area as well as a burn hole in the carpet, in front of the fireplace. We were forced to have the burn hole repaired and the carpets cleaned again. We never like to keep a guests damage deposit. However, it is there to cover damage.

Perfect lake house!

  • 5 of 5

We had a great family vacation! Plenty of room for the kids and adults. Rooms were beautiful with a great view of the lake. We loved the doc, bon fire pit area, paddle boat and kayahak. Perfect setup on the lake with great views, and plenty to do in the area. If your looking for a house on the lake with lots to do especially for the kids, then this is it! We would love to come back again!
