We had a great time. We enjoyed the views and hanging out on the pontoon. The owner is very responsive. The lake is very good for fishing. We enjoyed the wineries, the downtown area, and had a ball. There were 7 of us and we all had plenty of beds to stay in. I would stay here again. There is a lot to see and do in the area!

Beautiful house on a great piece of property. Very close to the sandbar, where we went to swim and hang out everyday. Getting to use the pontoon is the cherry on top. Family had a wonderful time, and we will definitely be back.

Great stay!

My family and I had a great time during our 4 night stay. We fished, hung out, took the boat out a couple of times and enjoyed the nearby towns. We never had to contact Brenden once during our trip, everything was great.

Peaceful Retreat

This is a family-oriented property with a beautiful pontoon available. My family loved all the water sports available to them. Communication with the owner is unbelievably responsive. Best we have ever experienced.

Excellent getaway

This was a great place for my family and I to celebrate my 50th! The location is perfect, allowing you to access all that Traverse City and even surrounding areas have to offer. We enjoyed the many wineries and even the local Peegeos for pizza! It was very clean, and Brenden was great at communicating.greatfootball

Family trip

It was a wonderful stress free week. Everything was better than in description. Ease of dealing with owner was wonderful. This was our third year staying and will be back. It was clean, relaxing and wonderful family vacation.

Great Location, Amenities and Host

We had four couples staying at the house, turned out to be perfect for us. We were close enough to run to Traverse City, sample all the wineries, golf and hike. Having the use of the Pontoon Boat, Kayaks and Peddle Boat made this trip exceptional, we utilized these every day. Brenden was great to work with and made sure we enjoyed our time. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this place!!

Lovely view and home

Five older women stayed here for a little getaway. The house was clean and welcoming. It had everything we needed. We took a delightful ride on the pontoon on lovely Spider Lake. We saw loons!

Wonderful relaxing family vacation

This house it the best. Had everything you could want right at your fingertips. Boat was the bomb. Family had a wonderful time. Brendan is easy to get a hold of and responds fast. This is our 4 year at this home and will come back.

Relaxing, charming waterfront

My husband and I and our adult children had a lovely week at Brenden’s beautiful lakefront property. We tooled around the lake in the pontoon boat and enjoyed the sandbars by the island, lounging on floats and playing frisbee and ball with our dogs. Stayed here in December 2024. Wondeful spot, felt secluded but close to activities in Traverse City. I imagine the lake may get busy at times in the summer, but the location on the peninsula and the privacy fence make this location special. Fun lake house

Brenden was the quickest responding owner I’ve rented through vrbo. He even put up a Christmas tree and decorations when he heard we were celebrating at his home. Home was very clean and well-equipped with cooking, cleaning and bath items. More than enough room for 2 grandparents, 4 parents and 4 grandchildren. Although cold and snowy, we enjoyed the view and Spider Lake area.

Ladies Fall Vacation

We love the Traverse City area and a water view is a must. This house was centrally located just south of TC with easy access in either direction up towards Suttons Bay or east to Elk Rapids. House has plenty of space, great features and we especially loved the fact that the many switches were labeled! And Brendan was great to work with. We plan to return.

Great location and use of pontoon boat was a plus

The house was great and met our needs. Outdoor enclosed space worked well for our dogs and our corn hole tournament. The pontoon boat allowed for enjoyable crusades around the lake and fishing. House and kitchen supplies were as advertised. We had a water leak issue and owner was quick to respond and took care of it.
