Overall the property worked well for us. Location is everything, and the views from the balcony are amazing! The property is also extremely safe, as we saw security several times a day and all times of night as well. I never once saw any bugs as others have mentioned, and the only down sides were; there is a big window ac unit on the balcony that spits water on you (that's the way those units work, the fan hits the condensation tray to cool the condenser), and the two units struggle to keep up even with the shade closed all day. It did get a little better after I cleaned the filters out as the one in the bedroom was completely plugged. Overall it was a good stay.

Mahalo for your review and for sharing both the highlights and areas you felt could be improved. We're happy to hear you enjoyed the amazing views, convenient location, and the added peace of mind provided by the property's security team. We hear your feedback regarding the air conditioning and have passed it along to the appropriate team. The water from the outdoor unit is a normal result of the cooling process, but guest comfort is always important to us. We take great pride in providing a clean, welcoming experience backed by responsive local support. Thanks again for staying with us, and we hope to host you again soon. -Albert M., Maui Paradise Properties 🌺

The location is close to the beach access and have nice water views from the balcony. The beds were not the most King size bed was not the most comfortable and was really low to the floor. Otherwise everything else was as it was advertized and was a good size for a family of 5.

Thank you for sharing your review and for recognizing the beach access, views, and size of the home. The king bed is a low‑profile design selected for the space and shown in the listing photos, and comfort is a personal experience for each guest. Our Maui-based management team is focused on honest listings, clean spaces, and responsive communication, and we were available throughout your stay if needed. We are glad the home met expectations overall and supported a comfortable visit. Great condo in a great location!

We stayed 4 nights - a total of 3 adults. This unit was very clean and as advertised. Well stocked and everything worked well. You cannot beat this location. Right across the street from Charley Young beach - which was fantastic. 3-4 blocks from the Kihei Kamala Village and Maui Gardens South - a food truck lot. Between the two you will find plenty of great food options. The 4th floor unit gives you a view of the water which we enjoyed every morning. Great place to stay.

The condo was not clean and the dishes all needed to be cleaned before using, they were filthy with food still on them. There was hair in the tub and everything needs to be dusted! There was a Kona Low when we were there and the roof leaked. Sent info and pictures to property management but no one came to check. Water stains on ceiling looked like it had done it before. The air conditioner spits water all over the lanai and makes a huge mess. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Thank you for sharing your feedback, we appreciate you taking the time to let us know about your stay. We want to clarify that the unit was cleaned and inspected prior to arrival, though conditions during the Kona storm created unusual challenges across the island. The ceiling concern you mentioned has already been resolved, and while we aim to respond quickly, we may have overlooked your email during that severe weather event. Our team does have 24/7 case managers available to assist guests at any time. We remain committed to providing a clean, comfortable space and reliable support, and we appreciate you helping us continue to improve. -Albert M., Maui Paradise Properties 🌺

We really enjoyed both the condo and location property Management and security very pleasant. Loved our morning runs along the beachside! Our only challenge which maybe common in Maui is hard to sleep as it was a bit warm. Air condition units just couldn’t cool the space even drawing drapes etc.

Little piece of Maui heaven

The property had everything we needed to enjoy our stay: Cooler, chairs, umbrella, snorkel, washing machine/dryer, beach and shower towels, games, TVs, fully equipped and stocked kitchen with appliances. It is walking distance from so many great stores, beaches and restaurants. Sunsets were amazing. It does get crazy windy in the afternoons(at least in April), and the air conditioning unit in the main room was a little weird. It turns on and off constantly and blows for a short time (if at all sometimes). We would definitely come back.

Great Location

Property is in great location to walk to shops, beach, and restaurants. We had a group of 6. The condo is small but we made it work, plus was gone most of the day. The mattresses weren’t very comfortable and could be upgraded. They could use more bath towels and beach towels. Check in was easy along with checking out. Don’t park on the lines when parking in a space as we got a notification that we were taking up 2 spots. Otherwise we had no issues. We would stay here again. Perfect sunset view from the balcony.

Clean and Spacious

This unit was ideal for our two family vacation. It offered enough space to have our own areas with a large living room and dining area. The unit was very clean when we arrived. My only complaint is the lack of adequate lighting in the upstairs loft area. It was very dark, which made it difficult to do much up there. But overall it was a comfortable stay. I appreciated a fully stocked kitchen, especially the coffee maker. I also really appreciated the closet full of beach chairs, coolers, and pool noodles.

Check in was horrible!

I got several emails and text messages instructing how to open the unit after hours. Upon late arrival, the instructions were completely wrong. I had to freak call the emergency lines, email and text and someone finally nonchalantly called back and stated “oh, this is the new way to enter.” After traveling all day and getting there late at night, this was not very welcoming at all.

Needs updating but the location is fantastic

The location was amazing! But... the bathroom sink literally fell out and we had no bathroom sink for 2 days, they did not get it fixed for us. The toilet paper under the sink was moldy and the lamp upstairs was broken (the shade ripped apart). Our friends rented in the same complex and its amazing what a little love and tlc can do in a place. Theirs was clean and super cute. Ours had pictures that was trying to hide cracks and needs a refresh. Again the location was amazing! But we paid more then our friends to have a view, ended up not being worth more due to how run down ours was.

Perfect family rental

We had a great stay at this property. The view was gorgeous, better than the picture. Other guests had commented that it needed a deep clean, and to some extent I agree, but it did not affect our vacation. We came with our three young kids and my in laws, and it was a perfect unit for a young family. For instance, the vents and picture frames in the bathroom had some dust buildup, and the carpet is not the newest. The couch wasn't the cleanest (or the most comfortable). But the fixtures were all clean, beds were clean, kitchen was great. Didn't bother us, but I wanted to share our perspective for those who might find themselves bothered by it. The condo complex this unit is in is quiet and well cared for. This unit is on the top (4th) level, so you won't hear anyone above you. Like most rentals, the kitchen knives are all super cheap and dull. We received lots of standard emails from the property management, but I both emailed them and texted them regarding a small issue and never heard back. I'm thankful we didn't have any serious issues, because I'm not sure if we could have gotten ahold of them. Overall great stay and we would come back.

Review of Stay

We have stayed at the Maui Vista before and we personally love the location. Close to one of our favourites beaches (across the st. is Charley Young) and walking distance to lots of restaurants and stores. The view from the condo is stunning and the place comfortably fit six adults. All beds were very comfy including the pull out couch. It was a bonus that the condo had beach chairs that we could use as well. The place also had a nice coffee machine and blender which was nice to use! As for the cons, there were quite a lot of cockroaches which thankfully is something we have not dealt with before. There were already traps set up, however, I feel like maybe they need an exterminator to come in to get the situation under control. They were all over the kitchen (drawers, floor, etc). The dishwasher also broke when we were there and the kitchen sink was leaking. Thankfully, we contacted the property manager and they were able to get someone in to fix the issue in a couple of days. One of the fans upstairs seemed a bit broken as it made a weird clicking noise when we would use it. Overall we had a great stay and the weather was incredible so we were barely in the condo. The location is perfect and we loved being across from the beach and walking distance to everything we need including the grocery store.
