Outdoors the home offers privacy and a large covered concrete dock, fire pit with wood, kindling and roasting sticks, corn hole, hot tub, outdoor seating for 12+, 2 Kayaks/paddles, 2 Paddle boards/paddles, parking for 3-4 cars in driveway (additional parking available if needed ask for details), stainless steel cable railing, and natural gas Blackstone griddle. Indoors you will find smart TV’s for streaming (6 TV’s), a fully equipped kitchen (appliances, crock pot, blender, toaster, mixer, pots/pans, glassware, plates, cups, bowls, utensils, griddle, George Foreman grill, combo coffee pot (pods & carafe), USB outlet in kitchen for charging convenience, 2 person 'Doc & Pies' arcade game and a separate foos ball table. What an amazing place! Marie was fantastic with communication, the house was beautiful, and it was in a great location. The kids loved the arcade, foosball table, and swimming off the dock. We had a great weekend at the lake.

Very clean, very well stocked - plenty of toilet paper, paper towels and garbage bags for 12 people! Kids loved the board games, arcade game and foosball. It was great having paddle boards and kayaks provided. Good workout walking down the hill to the lake and back up to the house! Convenient to the marina - we rented a pontoon boat.

What a great place for a family getaway

Amazing location, quite and tucked away from the boat traffic but close to some great activities. The water at norris lake is unbelievable clean and turquoise. The owner was always in communication and very helpful. Would definently stay here again.

Peaceful and relaxing getaway!

We had a peaceful and relaxing time at Hiwassee Haven. We loved the beautiful lake views from the back decks and from the large private dock. The house was very clean and nicely decorated. The owner was kind, thoughtful, and attentive to make sure we had everything to make our stay enjoyable.

Wonderful Stay

Property was very clean and had lots of extra touches. Very good communication with property owner. We enjoyed sitting on the porch looking at the lake. It was so nice to have the dock for our boat! Not to mention all the fun extras, paddle boards, kayaks, etc. Highly recommend Hiwassee Haven and would definitely stay again!

Slice of heaven

We had the best time! The accommodations were wonderful. The location of the house was amazing, tucked in a cove so the kids can safely swim, kayak, paddle board etc. Marie had everything we needed to enjoy a fire and love that she supplied extra paper towel and toilet paper etc. The set up of the house was awesome for 7 kids and 4 adults in our group. Mountain Lake Marina is right around the corner. We put our wakeboard boat in at a public boat ramp just a few miles down from the house so that was really convenient. Would definitely stay here again!

Great Stay-Great Host

The house was clean and kitchen well stocked. We cooked 4 out of the 5 nights we were there, including large breakfasts, and we had everything we needed--nothing amiss. Outdoor dining space was lovely--with seating for at least 16. The dock was one of the best we have used during our summer trips. It was secluded with a great view, kayaks and paddle boards for the kids, great swimming, and even small fish our grandson loved trying to catch with a net. Marie was very responsive with any questions, and made great suggestions for things in town. Could not have asked for a better stay! Thank you.

There is a free paved public boat launch 2 miles away........it's all here. Just bring your family......

What makes this property unique

As Norris Lake has become very popular so has the boat traffic in mid summer. This home is near the end of a quite cove yet we have deep year around water. The distance to town is better than most other areas as well as its just minutes to several popular marinas. The paved free public boat launch 2 miles away is a guest favorite. The home has a great cabin feel and is located in the heart of Norris Lake.
