About the property

ALOHA!

Welcome to our beachfront villa!

This three bedroom home on Oahu's North Shore is a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of City life. It's only a forty minute drive from Honolulu Airport - located in a gated community fronting Ke-Iki beach, famous for its sand, surf and sunsets. It's also a great place to catch a glimpse of whales and spinner dolphins passing in the far-off waters. Our yard, in particular, is one of THE BEST spots on the island to see seasonal migrating whales!

As our guest, you'll be provided with everything you need for a fun and memorable North Shore vacation:

Our home sleeps up to six adults and two children. Each bedroom has a full set of pillows, sheets and blankets. There is a fold-out crib in the closet. Both full bathrooms are stocked with plenty of towels, shampoo and body wash. There is also a hair dryer for guests who like - dry hair.

The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, toaster oven, toaster, blender, coffee maker, rice cooker, dishwasher, pots, pans, cooking utensils, and a full set of dishes. We even provide the kitchen basics, like oil, salt, pepper, sugar, aluminum foil, handi-wrap and ziploc bags.

Other amenities include: air conditioning, a large screen TV, cable channels, a bluetooth audio player, internet service, a washer/dryer, an outdoor gas grill and warm outdoor showers.

For outdoor excursions, we've got plenty of beach towels, snorkel equipment, body boards, sand toys and a colorful fleet of bikes available for you to use. You can bike to the famous Sunset or Waimea Beach in ten minutes or less. If you'd rather walk, Shark's Cove is just a stroll away. Foodland, the local grocery store, is also minutes away!

Please call or email if me you have any questions regarding the property or your Hawaii vacation, in general. I hope you have a great day and a wonderful vacation!

GREAT SPOT!

  • 5 of 5

It was exactly how we imagined it to be. So happy we decided on the North Shore and this prefect little spot. The walk to Shark's Cove, the grocery store, the Food Trucks.....everything was perfect. Having the beach and swim gear was so helpful that we didn't have to bring along. Kitchen was the perfect size and made dinner and grilling easy. BEAUTIFUL VIEW OF THE STARS! Definitely recommending and hopeful to come again.

Great location

  • 4 of 5

We had a great time at the Ginger house! Great location! We walked up to the food trucks everyday! Snorkeling in Sharks Cove was great! Our beach was very rough for swimming during our stay (May) except for 1 day. The house was bigger than it looked in the pictures and there was plenty of room for my family of 6. It had a great layout. Great views from the back deck, and beautiful sunsets. Tons of beach chairs and umbrellas! The reason for the 4 stars: The living room furniture was very uncomfortable and in need of updating of the cushions and pillows. The ceiling fan sounded and looked like it was about to fall down. There were no kitchen towels - I emailed the owner asking for some and she never responded. There was only one set of bath towels for each person And only 5 beach towels so I had to buy one for our stay. Lots of cobwebs on the window over the kitchen and dust covered shades in master bath. Fridge top covered in sand. Needs a deep cleaning. But with all that said, we would love to stay here again!

Perfect

  • 5 of 5

I stayed with my family and finances family at the next house. We had a small intimate wedding on their backyard with the beautiful sun setting. It was perfect.

The house was close to the market and sharks cove which was great for snorkeling. We were able to cook at home, just enjoyed every part of my stay.

Cindy was also great at replying back to all of my messages.

This house is beautiful. The perfect place to stay on the Noth Shore!

  • 5 of 5

The house is right off of the main road but feels secluded. It is in its own gated compound. You are located right on the beach. There is a lava field to the left as you can see in the pictures, but the house sits at the edge of it, so it is not a hinderance im terms of accessing the beach. And watching the waves crash over the rock is beautiful.

The beds are really comfortable. You can hear the waves at night. The house is really clean and the property is well maintained.

We walked to Shark's Cove, the grocery store, and the food trucks.

All 4 of our children said hands down this was the best vacation ever!

When we were there, it was still early in the season. The swells were too big to swim off of our beach, however, watching those huge waves come crashing in was something we had never had the chance to see before. It was awe inspiring. We also walked along the beach to the Bonzai Pipeline and watched some incredible athletes surfing those giant swells!

We were able to swim at Waimea Beach, and we also discovered that if we drove about 15 minutes to the beaches on the windward side, the surf was calmer and the beaches are relatively secluded. Oh and we ate at Giovanni's which is that direction as well. Delicious garlic shrimp!

We can't say enough about the house and this location. There was plenty of beach gear, boogie boards, snorkel equipment, water shoes, sup, chairs, toys, etc. There are also beach towels and the bathrooms had shampoo, body wash, and hair dryers.

The kitchen has all of the basics.

We grilled on the BBQ most nights and ate all of our meals on the deck watching the waves roll in.

It was a unique experience in the perfect setting.

Perfect family vacation

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at Tropical Waters for two weeks over the holidays. The house was lovely and exactly as advertised - large, comfortable and well equipped. The location right on Ke-Iki beach was hard to beat too! The house also came with a huge amount of gear including 6 bikes in good working order, 2 SUPs, dozens of mask and snorkel sets, flippers, boogie boards, beach toys for the kids, and more! Cindy was the best host you could ask for - kind and always helpful. We'll definitely be heading back to Tropical Waters soon. One of the nicest places to stay on the North Shore!
