Welcome to our beachfront villa!

This three bedroom home on Oahu's North Shore is a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of City life. It's only a forty minute drive from Honolulu Airport - located in a gated community fronting Ke-Iki beach, famous for its sand, surf and sunsets. It's also a great place to catch a glimpse of whales and spinner dolphins passing in the far-off waters. Our yard, in particular, is one of THE BEST spots on the island to see seasonal migrating whales!

As our guest, you'll be provided with everything you need for a fun and memorable North Shore vacation:

Our home sleeps up to six adults and two children. Each bedroom has a full set of pillows, sheets and blankets. There is a fold-out crib in the closet. Both full bathrooms are stocked with plenty of towels, shampoo and body wash. There is also a hair dryer for guests who like - dry hair.

The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, toaster oven, toaster, blender, coffee maker, rice cooker, dishwasher, pots, pans, cooking utensils, and a full set of dishes. We even provide the kitchen basics, like oil, salt, pepper, sugar, aluminum foil, handi-wrap and ziploc bags.

Other amenities include: air conditioning, a large screen TV, cable channels, a bluetooth audio player, internet service, a washer/dryer, an outdoor gas grill and warm outdoor showers.

For outdoor excursions, we've got plenty of beach towels, snorkel equipment, body boards, sand toys and a colorful fleet of bikes available for you to use. You can bike to the famous Sunset or Waimea Beach in ten minutes or less. If you'd rather walk, Shark's Cove is just a stroll away. Foodland, the local grocery store, is also minutes away!

Absolutely Perfect

  • 5 of 5

This house was awesome! Exactly like the pictures (except the pillows on the bed are way better than the pictures show)! We are a family of four and the house was perfect, we didn’t even use the room with the queen bed! My kids loved sharing a room! This house has an amazing view and the backyard is the best! My daughter was cartwheeling all over! The beach was not crowded at all and it was great to just walk out and spend the day or just an hour by the ocean! We had a blast exploring the lava rock tide pools! Waimea Valley was a a couple miles up the road and has an amazing luau, Toa Luau! Highly recommend this luau! Toa Luau is close and so fun! We spent the day hiking through the valley and swimming in the waterfall. The local grocery store, Foodland, is just right up the road and everything you need make a meal is at the house. The full sized washer and dryer was an amazing addition to our trip! I was able to get our laundry done before we left and unpacking when we got home was a breeze! Easiest vacation ever! I had never rented through a rental website before and Cindy was able to answer all my many questions I had about the property! The house was great to have at the center of our vacation and I will most definitely return, hopefully next time with more family and rent all three properties! Thank you Cindy for sharing your home with us!

Fantastic - our home away from home

  • 5 of 5

Thank you so much for letting us stay in your home Cindy! The location was fantastic - the beach was incredible - and amenities near by were great! We would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking for a piece of heaven on the North Shore!

Such an easy, beautiful drive from airport and/or Waikiki. Definitely more traffic then past years, but mostly around "turtle" beach because of everyone stopping to cross road to see the turtles that have beached themselves. Once you are past this point in either direction - traffic is fine.

Foodland is so convenient. Prices good...and we loved riding the bikes there to pick up a few things. The bikes offered great excursions. We also enjoyed the food trucks at sharks cove more this visit...lots of fun for the kids (and us) to try new things!

Our family loved the water and wave crashing! Plus a few snorkel trips around the point into Sharks Cove. Long beach walks were also a daily occurrence. Easy to navigate the beach - even for Grandma who has foot troubles.

Weather wasn't as great as past years on Oahu but we were still provided with amazing sunsets and the covered patio area worked just fine to enjoy any mist that fell.

We had a family of 6 staying (ages 5 to 74) and there was enough room for everyone to be together and enjoying each other or sneak away for their space and downtime.

We have started planning a larger extended family reunion and sharing this magical place with those closest to us. We look forward to our next vacation and would definitely look to stay here before searching other properties.

Perfect place for our family of 4 adults and 2 children.

  • 5 of 5

Absolutely loved the property. Great location on the sand, near shopping, hiking, etc. The house itself was very nice. Great kitchen with good utensils/plates/pots/etc. Beds were comfy. All beach stuff was provided from towels to surf boards. This is a hard beach for swimming as there is a severe undertow, so it would be tough for small children. Our 9 year old grandsons loved being rolled around in the surf. Lots of lava pools to explore. Our only complaint was no cushions for the outdoor dining table chairs, as that's where we all congregated. Owners were great and answered all of our questions.

Fantastic Place!!!

  • 5 of 5

We had three couples in the house and had plenty of space. The Weber Grill was gassed up, cleaned and ready for steaks and burgers. The store was an easy walk and if you enjoy bike riding, they had enough bikes for all of us. Plus you had both the beach and the lava rocks out front. Wonderful big deck to enjoy too. PARADISE!!

Very nice location

  • 4 of 5

The location was fabulous, quiet and just beautiful. The home is within walking distance to a small grocery store and to food trucks that are quite good. There is a bus stop close by and buses come regularly. We rode to the Polynesian Center and the bus was on time, clean and we felt safe. Furniture in living area not super comfortable but was okay for the short time we were there. We spent a lot of time out and about so it worked fine for us. There was a huge dining table inside and another large table outside under the Lanai so one can easily accommodate a large group for meals. The bed in the master is a beautiful bed but is a big high. I'm short and needed a stool or a boost to get in. There is a bench at the end of the bed so in a pinch one could use that to assist them in getting into the bed. Guests should take that into consideration when choosing their bedroom though. The kitchen cabinets are older and in need of repainting but the kitchen is spacious and very nice with lots of prep space and a long counter to sit at with bar stools. I think the one thing that bothered me most were the little plastic insect baits in the kitchen. One was on the counter near the coffee maker, some in cabinets and in the pantry. I'm glad to not have seen any insects but the baits sitting around were disconcerting. Perhaps a thorough spraying on a regular basis would eliminate the need for the baits or perhaps the baits could be placed in inconspicuous locations. We never saw one bug anywhere inside the home or even outside so clearly the owner is being proactive in prevention of insect issues. Overall the home was a great choice for us and we would not hesitate to return.

Love the North Shore!

  • 4 of 5

We stayed for 10 days and Cindy was so easy to communicate with and very responsive. The beds were comfortable, lots of towels, and the kids room was perfect for our 15 month old to sleep in the pack n play (which happens to be square instead of the rectangle one we are used to. This only mattered for the mattress I brought to put in it.) We had easy access to Foodland. The beach is close enough to take a walk. Sharks Cove is a five minute walk for snorkeling. There were many beach toys for kids and adults, as well as snorkel masks and bikes and boogie boards!

A few downsides:

The wall facing the house from the ocean has graffiti all over it, which wasn't in the pictures posted (obviously)

The stove is electric (to be expected, I suppose) and the pots and pans were not easy to clean.

The greenery off the deck where the ocean view would be was too tall, so unfortunately our view was obstructed. This is an easy fix if the landscapers are able to trim it back, I would think.

There were lots of mosquitoes on the deck, likely because it had rained half the time we were there.

Over all we had a great stay, but would likely stay a little closer to Sunset beach next time so that we can have a direct view of the ocean and closer access to the beach where it's swimmable this time of year.
