We received almost no assistance from the the host. Road to property was washed out and bearly passable. Property was dirty, moldy and spider infested. The mold caused breathing issues to my wife who has an allergy to mold, as well as with 3 others of our traveling companions. There was no possible way we could safely stay there. Electrical items did not function, lights, television, and inoperable outlets. These and other issues made it impossible for us to stay. We had to book other accommodations at a hotel and notified the host who was rude, disrespectful and judgemental. We have requested a full refund and were told they would not even consider it. My only recommendation would be to advise everyone to NOT book this property. It is grossly inaccurate in the listing. Every member of our group refused to even try to stay. We were appalled. I would recommend VRBO drop this listing. Also, when we entered the property, we were meet with a disgusting oder of old garbage we could not identify or locate the odor and it was worse in the kitchen. We feel VRBO should assist us with our 100% refund request, as we are very loyal to VRBO and we are One Key Loyalty members for our travel accommodations as well as all our traveling companions. Also, no one met us at the property, took copies of our passports nor collected the tax. This was something that has never occurred before.
