Amazing stay - the staff were so accommodating and helpful
Amazing stay - the staff were so accommodating and helpful. Clean, great location near but far enough away from the tourist side of Florence. Cannot recommend staying at the Maggio Palace enough.
Excellent property and management. The only downside were the rooms were pretty dark, good interior lighting but limited natural light.

Maggio Palace is a very special property at a great location
Maggio Palace is a very special property at a great location. It easily accommodated our group of 7 people. The decor is spectacular, the beds are awesome, and the kitchen is well equipped. Check-in and check-out were super efficient - thanks to the local manager Nicco and the lovely housekeeper Carmen ... definitely recommend!
Wonderful stay in a real palazzo. The pictures really don't do it justice. Super convenient location right next to the Ponte Vecchio and Pitti Palace. Tons of fabulous restaurants everywhere. We can't wait to return.
This is a must stay if you want to live like past Florence royalty. The location to absolutely everthing is a few minute walk away. We were blown away by this stay. Staying here made our Florence stay a memory of a lifetime. The kitchen is very small, but has everything you need. Love, love, loved this property.
Beautiful, very large, historic apartment. Great location just outside of the tourist mayhem.
The apartment is a little rustic and could use a couple of small upgrades such as newer shower heads and kitchen utensils.
But overall wonderful and would recommend to anyone.

The only thing missing was a chorus of Roman goddesses to serenade me and gently blow-dry my hair each morning. Every other detail—grandeur, comfort, and indulgence—was utterly imperial. I’m not sure how I’ll cope upon returning to the U.S., where no one offers me Chianti Classico at check-in or calls me Signore with such reverence.

We absolutely thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Maggio Palace - and Palace it is
We absolutely thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Maggio Palace - and Palace it is. It was clean and well appointed. It's 2 blocks from the river on a street lined with beautiful antique stores and not overrun with tourists.. There are many great restaurants nearby as well as a gelateria (try the mandarin - it's really really good), a fresh fruit stand and a cafe for morning coffee and croissants (cornettos). The apartment itself is a work of art. We loved taking an afternoon break sitting in the living room sipping a spritz and gazing at the frescoes. The layout is a bit quirky, but not necessarily in a bad way. It's spacious in all the right places; big living rooms (2 of them); big bed rooms and a big dining room. The kitchen is a bit small - but who wants to cook when you've got all that fabulous pasta at restaurants just a short walk away. The WiFi is a bit hit or miss depending on what room you're in - that's my only real complaint, and it's a small one. Niccolo was spot on time to deliver the keys and was helpful throughout our trip. Overall I highly recommend the Maggio Palace - 10 out of 10.
