Breathtaking ocean view, large wrap-around balcony, lazy river, grotto pool with pool bar, cabana pool, gulf side pool, and 3 other pools; several of them are heated. The villa sleeps 4: it has a bedroom with a queen size bed, a living room with a queen size sofa bed, an office area, flat screen TV, kitchen with large refrigerator, convection and micro wave oven, stove, dishwasher, free cable, and free internet. The bathroom has a garden tub and a walk-in shower. The entire villa is beautifully decorated in beach style.

Relaxing Getaway

Everything was very clean and well cared for. Plenty of restaurants and stores near by. Multiple pools was nice. On the beach was amazing.

Perfect stay

I loved how comfortable the bed and especially the pillows were! It's the little things that make it wonderful. Also loved the patio that curved over the pool! Wish i could have been able to afford to stay 1 more night. 1 night is not enough. I suggest to everyone 2 nights minimum to enjoy the beach and the pools.

Villa 301

It was more like a hotel room. It wasn't terrible but it wasn't what I expected. It was nice being on the third floor with the garage and bridge entrance. Also closer to the beach. The kitchen was nothing fancy but had everything that a kitchen needed. The bathroom had shutters that open and closed. I had Grandkids with me , 1 boy - 2 girls so they were constantly peeking on the others in the bathroom. That room is more for couples. No privacy.

Balcony sliding door doesn’t lock, however we reported it and maintenance did cut a couple pieces of metal to secure the doors. The cleaning people need checked; there is lots of dirt buildup in the corners of the bedroom and bathroom, window sills had lots of dirt and dust. The silverware had dried food on some of it, however I washed dishes before I used them anyway. The microwave/convection oven has grease splatters built up inside where it definitely needs a good cleaning. It’s a shame the owner pays for their cleaning. Other than the above mentioned items it was a good stay. I would have loved a better gulf view but again I chose this Villa.

What I liked: The property was easy to find, the condo was really clean, with cold AC and great water pressure. It's also within walking distance of 4 different restaurants, and if you want to drive somewhere else, it's not really that far, just a lot of heavy traffic to deal with, especially in the afternoon hours. This is a great family-friendly spot with multiple pools and easy beach access. What I feel others should know: I'm not gonna say I didn't like anything, as it was just my wife and I, but it could have been a little aggravating had we taken another couple with us. This condo is not a one-bedroom; everything is open, so privacy is not gonna happen, even in the bathroom. The ocean view isn't really an ocean view. You can see the water, but just a little bit through the palm trees. Unfortunately, a large trash container is parked right outside on the adjacent property, but fortunately, it didn't have a smell. The rock waterfall picture is misleading because it is no longer there. Also, the patio door doesn't close all the way, so you can't lock it, not that you have to worry about anyone coming in that way. We did share this information, so hopefully they'll get that fixed soon. Other than that, we had a great time, and for the price, it was definitely worth every penny. One last thing to mention, Victoria, with the reservation staff, was fantastic and very easy to communicate with through text messaging.

The advertising for this property is completely misleading. From this particular room, you’ll NOT have an ocean view, unless a square inch is enough to satisfy your beach view longing. Also, there are photos of the splash pad, which is one of the reasons I booked this room having two small children, but the splash pad was recently removed. The light fixture in the shower wasn’t correctly installed and fell and hit my mom in the head while she was in the shower. We called for a towel exchange but had to call twice before we ever got clean towels. The beds were terribly uncomfortable and you can hear every little sound anywhere around you. The ONLY thing I can say is the place was relatively clean upon arrival. You check in across the busy highway from where you stay, so that was a nuisance with no traffic lights. After checking in, we used the sky bridge to walk back and forth. Luggage carts are on the first floor only, yet we were told they’d be by the elevators when we parked. We carried all of our luggage in only the find the luggage carts a couple of days later. Pools were supposed to open at 9:00 AM, but the one day my kids wanted to play at the pools, we couldn’t get in until after 9:45. The parking garage connects to the building at each level, which did make coming and going nice. I won’t go back and wouldn’t recommend it.

Wasn’t clean, things were broken(light/fan) in living room, pull out sofa was worn out and uncomfortable, trash behind bed, and other issues! We had to ck out at 1am and find another place and the property manager was no help at all! She said there were no available units so I had to drive an hr to Pensacola and pay double for hotel room. The guy I messaged about my issues though issued me a refund promptly and was very apologetic so I appreciated that. I understand they cannot check behind everyone nor control such a huge complex and nasty people staying along with housekeeping not doing their job. Was just a big fiasco that I hope the owner will fix before others stay at that Villa.

The over all area was good! The condo 👎🏻!!! The bed is EXTREMELY HARD AND UNCOMFORTABLE, as well as the couch! There is no beach or water view at all! Parts of the frig on the left side had mildew, the right side just nasty in general from sink, and splashes of stuff! When you rent your condo out YIUR supposed to make sure things are clean and comfy for others like you would your home. Beach is ver close, so that was a plus, and loved loved loved the lazy River! Next time I’ll prolly get that side instead!

Not a Good Value/Not as Advertised

This room is advertised as a queen size bed and sofa sleeper. I am not sure about the sofa, but this was a DOUBLE bed…with a VERY worn out mattress….so the sleeping experience was TERRIBLE. There was a very small TV in the sitting area…that was obviously very old. The sound was out of sync with what we were actually seeing. The unit was not very clean. On the positive side, the size of the unit was just right for 2 people. The A/C worked great! I knew the view of the gulf was very limited…but we did have a nice balcony just above a smaller pool that didn’t have much activity. So that was nice. Check in was very easy…and the associate that helped us was very friendly and helpful.

This was supposed to be a one bedroom condo. It’s not. It’s simply got a wall between the bed and the super tiny living room; it’s all open. The view was bad. We could barely see a sliver of beach, but we did get a great view of a couple large dumpsters outside the unit.

Villa 301

The suite is as described. The sofa sleeper is pretty shot. Not comfortable for an adult. I imagine this is a wonderful suite for a couple but not much room for 2 Adults and 2 children I took my air oven to compensate for the lack of oven.

The one thing that stood out to me was the fact that in the post that there was a good possibility of the unit being ready before check in. I'm thinking noon???? We waited all day at the resort. One hour before check in it was finally ready. Lost a day at the beach. Yes we could have put our suits on and went anyway..just a hassle. Other than that will possibly stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay at destin west villa 301. Parking was on the same level as the room which makes it easy when you arrive and depart. Easy beach access with plenty of things for the kids to do. It's close enough to everything you can walk if you want to. The kids enjoyed all of the pools, the lazy river, as well as the splash pad. The water was nice and clearer than I remembered. Overall, i give this place 5 stars. Lance was extremely helpful and easy to get a hold of if we needed anything. I definitely recommend this villa

Our family will never look for another spot in the Destin area. We are so glad we stayed here-rather than nearby Destin- because our kids LOVED the many pools (some heated) and the lazy river. Parking was easy and the whole resort was very clean and safe. The wrap-around balcony overlooks one of the heated pools but it's not noisy, just convenient! The villa had everything we needed: a beautiful tub/shower/bathroom, an open & breezy layout, great balcony, convenient kitchen. We stayed as a family of four, with two kids under 10, and had everything we needed. The villa was spotless and beautifully decorated. Walking to the beach or the other lazy river pool complex was quick and easy. The week we came out the beach was mostly closed to swimming due to rip currents so we were SO happy we stayed at this resort with tons of pools and space for all the non-beach swimmers to spread out. The resort was very family friendly and the board walk right nearby had good restaurants and shopping. We had a great week and couldn't ask for anything more!

Positive: -Well equipped condo -2 min walking distance to Beach -20 min drive to mall, 25 to premium outlets -2 min drive to next grocery store -Lots of restaurants nearby -Nice fitness studio -Parking spots on same level with condo -Good WiFi on entire Building -Sufficient Towels and face clothes which can be replaced upon request -Older clientele, all very friendly, felt comfortable Negative: -Cleanliness in condo could be better -Lock from balcony door was broken -Furniture older but okay, some furnishings should be replaced soon -Few selections on Tv program Adequate space for 2 persons. Would stay again in February due to off season and warm weather.
