Merveilleuse Gran Casa La Mar

Bienvenue à Casa La Mar, où "Mi Casa es su Casa" est pris à cœur. Cette belle maison de trois chambres, deux salles de bains et demie, est située sur Marine Terrace, à un pâté de maisons à l'est de l'eau, et à une courte distance du début du sentier jusqu'au ranch. Vous pouvez entendre les phoques aboyer, les vagues se briser et regarder le soleil se coucher à l'horizon, tandis que vos inquiétudes se dissipent. Faites tremper dans le bain à remous sur le pont pour ajouter à votre détente. Une grande télévision haute définition est dans le salon. Un ordinateur avec Internet, ainsi qu'une connexion sans fil, sont disponibles. Les chambres ont un roi et une reine, un lit gigogne dans le bureau et un canapé-lit dans le salon, assez pour accueillir jusqu'à 8 personnes. Il est suffisamment spacieux pour un groupe de huit personnes, mais suffisamment confortable pour une escapade romantique et tranquille pour deux. Les animaux sont les bienvenus aussi !! We loved this property. The location is excellent - very close to Fiscalini Ranch. The home is spacious and open and nicely appointed.

Reviewer Comments: The house is located in a lovely area with ocean views and wonderful breezes.The bedrooms were well appointed and comfortable, and the kitchen had just about every appliance you could think of.One suggestion: Bring your own soap, shampoo and conditioner for the shower, for the bathrooms did not supply any.

Family getaway

This is one of my favorite homes I have stayed at. So welcoming and well furnished. Short walk to Harvey’s Cove. Close walking trails. Super quiet neighborhood.

Great coastal home

Great location, close to nice walking trails overlooking the ocean, which our dog loved. Nice quiet safe neighborhood. Close to town for groceries and dining. We enjoyed the hot tub. There were a few opportunities in kitchen, nothing major. Overall, we had a nice stay.

Loved the location and house. We stayed there last year, too. Several issues: several rooms spelled like urine. (The formal dinning room, couches facing the window), Downstairs first room bed very uncomfortable.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My friends and I had a wonderful time at Casa De La Mar! The home is nicely updated, very clean and well maintained and in a wonderful location! The only two things I would note is: 1. the hot tub never got hot enough to use (even though the maintenance man was just there to clean it and turn it on and up while we were there) 2. the outside trash bin was already full and locked when we arrived, that should be available for all new renters no matter what day trash pick up is in my opinion. Overall I highly recommend the home for a wonderful vacation stay!

60th wedding anniversary and an 85th birthday

My husband and I have been docents at the elephant seal colony at Piedras Blancas north of Hearst Castle on Highway 1. We live in Bakersfield so it is a habit to treat ourselves to a bit longer on the coast to celebrate special occasions. This was our 2nd weeks to visit this home. Probably one of our Grandchildren described it best. She was so happy to come back a dozen years later and find it just as wonderful as she had remembered it as as a 17 year old! Guests visiting, a few overnight, were also impressed with the location, the comfort and spaciousness of the home, and the general ambiance. The stairs might prevent us from returning for our 65th anniversary but I know we will wish that weren’t true if we are lucky enough to have that decision to make

Our son couldn't sleep on it. We would like to come back to this house sometime, but only if the bed is replaced. Also, FYI, many of the light bulbs in the kitchen are burned out. That didn't bother us too much.

My family enjoyed our stay and would love to come back. Few items that I would recommend:The shower head needs to be updated. While I understand and support water conservation, a strong mist makes it difficult to get an adequate shower and shave. A good deep clean is needed. I have dogs and my allergies still flared up in this home. Also under the couches and chairs it was quite dirty.

Wonderful house for a multi-generational family trip

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a lovely house with tons of communal living space, and the proximity to the beach and Fiscalini Ranch Reserve are hard to beat! The hot tub was a particularly nice perk since we had chilly weather. The layout of the house was even better than we'd expected for our family trip with two elementary-aged children, their parents, and two grandparents. The master bedroom is on the top floor, along with open-plan kitchen, living room, and dining room. On the same level is the deck with the hot tub. Downstairs are the large second bedroom with the queen bed, and office with a day bed with trundle. It was ideal for us to be able to have the grandparents on the main living level all the time we were at home, and we were able to have a somewhat separate space when needed for our immediately family, as well as having the kids in the room right next to us without stairs being a factor (which is always scary at night in an unfamiliar house!).The kitchen was well-stocked with cooking equipment, utensils, and appliances. There were games, puzzles, and quite a library of children's books in particular that we enjoyed.Thank you for sharing your home!

It was our first time staying here and we will definitely book again. The location is incredible. It's a 2 minute walk to beach access and 6 minute walk from Fiscalini Ranch. The house is spacious and perfect for accommodating a large family or multiple fams. We stayed with our 2 children, our dog and my in-laws. The house is set up with the master bedroom on the top level, and 2 other bedrooms and a bathroom on the lower level which makes it perfect for privacy and space when traveling in a larger group. The amenities are great...loads of towels and linens and a well-stocked kitchen. One suggestion would be better wine glasses...we brought our own, but the house definitely lacks proper wine glasses. It has a good assortment of other glassware, mugs etc. Furniture was totally fine in terms of a rental (the sofas are a little tired, but overall still very functional and clean). The house was very clean overall...our only hiccup was that the third guest room bed sheets weren't freshly washed, but the onsite washer/dryer made it an easy fix. As the house was super clean and accommodating in every other way, we didn't feel the need to complain and assumed that it was an oversight/mistake. The hot tub was a major perk (they keep it very clean, and we even had a jaccuzzi cleaning service come while we were there). The house is dog friendly (whoop whoop) and well positioned for a day of adventuring, whether its hiking on the ranch, heading to the beach or wine tasting and window shopping in town. Thanks Casa del Mar....we will be back!

The home was clean and beautiful with all the amenities we needed. It was really nice to have a full kitchen and laundry, plus a fully fenced yard for the dogs. It would be great for extended stay vacation. It had a beautiful view from the upstairs windows. Beds in 3 different bedrooms plus a fold out couch bed in the main living room upstairs but off to the side so it didn't feel like it was in the way when in use. 2 1/2 bathrooms made it convenient, we never felt like anyone had to wait long. I will definitely stay here again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We've rented this house before and love the location--Marina Terrace between Lampton Cliffs and the Fiscalini Ranch Preserve. This time, there were a few glitches, very unusual in our 20+ years of experience working with Cambria Coast Rentals. There was sour laundry still in the washer, no bathroom linens out, hot tub non-functional. Still, we enjoyed our time here with our little dogs.
